what are the chances of Mcnair playing OOP .... he seems to have limited playing time so far ?

at 4.4 he is great value and could be the 4th defender on my team. If any Sunderland fans have an insight to his potential starting position/minutes I'd be grateful...

If ever a game was going to be 0-0, you'd think it would be that one.

    Foster (heaton)
    Valencia, kone, Collins, amat, mcauley
    Sanchez, firmino, ozil, Antonio, capoue
    Aguero, tekkers, rashford

With this squad is it the gw to AOA or which 3 players to bench?

With Baines and Masuaku out and Amat as my option, I'm playing AOA with Capoue.

      Let's do this together

    Heaton
    Walker/ Stones/ Shaw
    Sterling/ Firmino/ Ozil/ Remond
    Aguero/Lukaku/Defoe

    4.0/ Capoue/Evans/ Amat
    1FT 1.1 ITB

    a) Shaw to Bellerin
    b) Shaw to 4.5-5.0 and Ozil to Sanchez -4

Is Sanchez worth the hit or will Ozil and Bellerin make those points up?

Sanchez is probably worth the hit this week just so you can have some of his points.

Loads will captain him and right now you'll have none of it, even if you decide not to captain him you'll still take the sting out of those who do by having half of what they have.

Look at it like you're not wasting 4 points, you're risking not losing a lot more, he has the form and fixture to make that hit pay off over the next 3 weeks.

Sometimes it's more about damage limitation, not having him in the next 3 weeks could bury you.

4 points is not a lot in the grand scheme of things.

Two transfers could be very useful next week, Evans has a good fixture and can play should Shaw not start.
Although with Shaw likely not starting you may decide to take him out now considering his tougher fixtures.
However there could be better info on the best replacment if hang on a weelk

    GK - Heaton (Pickford)

DEF - Shaw, Williams, McAuley (Friend, Amat)

MID - Capoue, Ozil, Sterling, Antonio (Fletcher)

have Lovren. figuring the way the Prem is headed, cleanies look a random lottery so may as well play the fixtures and get yourself a wide player who can at least fling in crosses for potential assists

Is it safe to play a bournemouth defender? Bournemouth have conceded every game on the road this season. Watford are strong attackers, they may not have scored at Burnley - but burnley are a defensive fortress at home.

I'm tempted by Rashford. I think he'll play at least 70 minutes and United should have no problem putting a few past Stoke so good chance of some points. Yeah Lukaku is the ultimate FPL troll but he could notch against Palace. I would favour Rashers over Lukaku for the armband.

Looking at the poll this week, you're screwed if you don't have both Sanchez and Ibra and they match eachothers score this week.

For arguments sake, if they match eachother and both bring in 30 as C (a haul like that is possible this week) if you own both and captain Ibra you will have exclusivity over his whole 30 points and 15 of the Sanchez captainers points as you'd have him covered.

That's going to be quite a big captaincy swing.

It's early here so the brains not woken up yet but that looks like 15 point V 45 point return to me if they match eachother (or get close to it) that's going to be a massive rank boost or rank drop.

        Haha...where to begin?

If they both score the same...it doesn't matter which one you captain. By scoring the same points, they'll have the same number of points.

'Exclusivity'... is there only one Ibrahimovic owner?!

So you're basically saying if Ibra and Sanchez score 15 each and you captain one, you'll have a huge gain? Grass is also green.

Think you need to go back to bed.

Someone needs to go back to school.

*exclusivity of those 30 points over someone with only one Sanchez, not exclusivity over 3m+ players.

So what about the hundreds and thousands who own say costa intead ibra and costa matches ibras score. Ibra score is then irrelevant to them. Yor scenario is too specific and worth mulling over.

That's honestly like syaing if all my players do well and the others dont my rank will rocket.

Sky is blue. Grass is green. Arsenal will finish fourth 🙂

so if they players you own do well your rank will go up - great analysis well done Einstein 😉

Anyway putting that aside you are looking at this scenario one way. If the mid i have instead of sanchez (firminio for eg) matches sanchez score then his score is covered. You are talking as if you are the only one has these players.

Kolorov? Look like 150 to 200 points machine based on history in previous years if getting game time. Man city fixtures ain't that bad after Spurs and a snip at 5.9?
Is he more nailed with Pep in charge it seems so?

Seems to be preferred, dont know if i could say nailed.
Playing really well in 'real life', unsure on promoting a 5.9 defender in a team which doesnt look set up for clean sheets.

I think I am go for it gameweek 8 onwards. Gives a defence of Bellerin Coleman and Kolorov expensive but with those fixtures could be explosive. Means I can't double up pool and city attack so Capoue better come good again.

So should I play Heaton vs ARS or Pickford vs WBA.
Leaning towards Heaton as it is last game of the Gw and hoping for a low scoring affair.
          Also got Sanchez to play.
I might just keep Heaton in starting 11 as cleansheets would be hard to come this Gw.
          Any thoughts ?

Son on the scoresheet for Spurs again ! Is it about time to give some importance to this guy and might do transfers to include him in the upcoming GWs? I understand Spurs face City and alot of people would not even want to do it for this GW but what about post that? Spurs has 2 good games post the upcoming gameweek post which they have 3 tough back to back matches (including the north london and london derby).

      Evans/Williams/Collins (Love/Amat)
      Lallana/Sterling/Sanchez/Capoue (Hojbjerg)
      Ibrahimovic/Aguero/ Lukaku

My back needs improving, undoubtedly. Thinking of giving Ibra this week to justify his position, or else he's getting the heave-ho to free up funds to be dispersed elsewhere.

Collins most likely won't start, but with West Ham's continued woes at the back, who knows what Slavan's plan is.

Jakupovic not a pressing issue at present. Heaton is always good for save-points.

Capoue gets a stay of execution given Watford's kind schedule and his potential to earn a price-rise or two. He may find himself upgraded in the not so distant future if I do free up funds from Ibrahimovic.

      Aguero Lukaku Rashford

      Subs: Collins, Pieters, Amat

Just thinking that with Pienaar & Januzaj out for Sunderland that Watmore should be guaranteed to play at home v WBA. Pieters & Amat are likely to get one point max each and Collins has been dropped from squad recently. Thoughts please?

This might not be the correct forum, but sporting news usually only gets my attention as interesting; the demise of big Sam is truly sad. Unless one is a saint I cannot see how people who talk in a circle, will not say something that would not go down well in public. Ok, it is naïve on Sam's part, but I don't see what all the fuss is about. Firstly, he was stating the bleeding obvious about player ownership and not working against his employers. They have tried to instill a rule that is ridiculous. Secondly, his comments on "Woy" are perfect and amusing to boot. In fact, I thought he went easy on him.
In the end, England have lost a manager with passion and enthusiasm not seen in years for the job. It remains to be seen whether it would be a success but it brought back some of the character so badly needed in the national game.
I for one, will never read an article knowingly from the Telegraph again; which was my newspaper of choice for 40 years. What they did was disgusting in my eyes and I would love to know if the sting crew are as lilywhite as they expect big Sam to be.
People in the public aye are privileged in many ways, but don't expect them to clam up so tight as to lose all character. The newspapers live off sensationalism as the article implies and I personally hope they die by it.
Good luck big Sam for the future my mate!

Set up, plied with alcohol, talking a bit of banter after being plied with leading questions.

His biggest crime was selecting Rooney

Being England manager is a special job

Front page of the newspapers when you get appointed

Every word you say is a news story, even if it's "X is injured"

You're not a normal bloke who can say whatever crap they like when someone promises you 400 grand

Your job is England manager -- do it -- you get paid -- we didn't force you to take it -- you don't get to be Fat Normal Bloke #1 any more

        Big Sam knows that

Knows he dropped the ultimate bollock

Firstly now of all times he should know better and be more cautious.

Secondly very fine line between excepting this type of bung culture and a certain Sepp Blatter. Zero tolerance required end of.

There is no bung here. He even said he must run it past the FA. Agreed, he dropped one but for crying out load, the Telegraph have a lot to answer to.

Sorry there is history here a similar setup ten years ago? Smell the coffee. The whole thing with the son being an agent whatever it just all stinks. Transfer of Ravel Morrison etc. this is not about media hounding it about stupidity and greed from a guy who should know better he is not a 20 year old kid.

Interesting comment from Carew's agent today -- half his fee for getting him to Big Sam's West Ham went to "someone"…..

Also veiled media references to "the people [Big Sam] surrounds himself with"

If there is wrong doing; fair enough. ATM its innuendo and the video released indicates no law breaking. As much as the man likes money, he would have done that job for free.

I suppose I understand that people want to defend him, but I'm sick to death of hearing stories of how already massively wealthy people in the industry are willing to cheat, lie and cut corners just to get their dirty hands on a little bit more. And why is it that the people who often end up bearing the financial brunt of these idiots idiotic decisions - i.e. the fans - are also the ones that defend them so readily? Mental.

Fairly certain i'll be doing one of these this week - question is, which one?

      Santi ->

      A) Walcott (bur, SWA, MID, sun)
      B) Son (MCY, wba, bou, LEI)

Walcott has the fixtures and some decent form, but Son is absolutely flying and imo has the best stats of all midfielders in the game right now.

          Sanchez, Antonio, Santi, Capoue
          Aguero, Ibra, Defoe

          Pickford, Barry, Collins, Amat

Like Trigger said, save and get Son during the IB. Not keen on any Liverpool mids or too much of a roulette atm and staying away from all until a sure one emerges?

If planning B it might be better to save the free this week and get him next

Yeah that's a fair point. Although City don't look too convincing defensively so I wouldn't be too worried starting Son this week. You be tempted to save and reassess next week? 1 more Santi fall or a Son/Walcott rise means I can't afford the switch.

A returning Ramsey has me worried though - he normally walks straight back into the team which means one of Walcott or Iwobi drops out. Or does Ramsey need to fight to get his place back?

With Sanchez playing striker and Wenger talking up Wally so much I think it'll be different this time around for Ramsey. Maybe Iwobi is the one dropped, maybe Ramsey has to fight for him spot.

if it is between those 2 I would say Son. Though if the question was Whether to go for Son I would say no due to the fixtures. 2nd and 3rd game look a good prospect though.

Save and get Son next week after the IB.. Too risky now seen as he played midweek (could be rested)

You also don't have a Pool mid.
