I'd like to see them turn a corner form wise first.

I don't lame you...they've started rubbish. Still worth keeping an eye on though.

More worrying for Stoke are the rumours of dressing room bust ups.

Something seems wrong for sure, Sparky seems demoralised too, on paper that's a decent squad but it ain't translating into form or Fpl points.
Also worth saying what's the point of gambling on Arnie right now when we have so many Mids firing around that price point? (Antonio/Lallana/Cout/Caz/Son/Wally/Snoddy)

Shaw owners what are you doing? Unlikely to play this week. AoA is an option.

If not, what 5.5m or less defender would you pick with a medium term view? Currently sitting on Stones, Holebas and Amat.

I would get Monreal for 6.0
      Clyne at 5.5? Or Matip/Louvren

      Can you just save?
Bellerin would be awesome, but that price tag is inhibative.

Yea, I can save and play AoA. Not sure how long it would be until he is back starting again though, especially with Blind playing well at LB

I'm putting him in until Jose says otherwise. I'm happy for a sub to take his place this week if need be. More pressing issues elsewhere in my squad.

I'm amazed at the lack of Walcott love on here compared to previous seasons. In previous season he was the first name in our team when in form, and that was at 9.5m. His stats are amazing, and he has played every game so far. Are people just worried about Ramsey returning?

      Ramsey and giroud/Perez

When they both return alexis will likely move to the wing

Where will Walcott go? Wenger has shown he is not afraid to take out an in form player, he did it with Campbell

That one still perplexes me, especially as he usually holds onto dross (Ox) for so long and gives them numerous chances

          Get him while he's hot.

Think about replacements if and when he gets dropped.

Moreover, at his current form, no chance if him getting dropped imo.

Aye. I wrote yesterday that I've never seen a better time for double up of mids. Either Arsenal or Liverpool...maybe even both.

Plus I need to break the Zlatan piggy bank.
And When you throw Giroud into the mix I don't know the lineup.
I don't think Ramsey will be a direct competition, as Walcott is a more wide flanker compared to him.

Plus Lallana is cheaper, no europe, more attacking team, same fixtures, less rotation worries

He's coming into my team in gw 8.

I initially was set on Sterling but I think there'll be rotation in the City midfield with Barca games.

None of the above. Not naive, more stupid. I think he was trying to sound big with a few beers down him and thinking that he could impress these guys. Clearly it all went wrong.

I have sympathy to some extent because we've all said things when drinking that we would not like to go under public scrutiny. Of course, in his position he should know a lot better.

          Current team is:

          Heaton - Pickford
          Lovren - Baines - Evans - Amat - Wilson
          Sanchez - Firmino - Antonio - Capoue - Snodgrass
          Aguero - Ibra - Benteke

Shall I bench Baines and play Amat? I don't really want to play Amat and was hoping to save my FT this week however, Baines's injury might force my hand as I see no real advantage in playing AOA.

or ship for another 5.7 DEF?

Do we think sterling will keep this form up? I'm toying with getting rid to double up on Liverpool. Obviously he's a good asset, but I'm thinking about playing the fixtures instead. Thinking about having both firmino and countinho will get me more over the next short run of fixtures than firmino and sterling... thoughts?

            Choose one for GW8 onwards:

            A) Walcott (Nailed for a few matches after IT Break?)

            B) Sterling (Rotation Risk?)

            Appreciate your thoughts!

I'm currently mired in the same dilemma after wildcarding. Everyone is telling me Sterling but I feel like Aguero is ample enough Citeh cover. My gut tells me to get Son and Walcott but I already have Sanchez and my gut is often wrong (Lamela, Ramirez, etc.)

But, I digress. Go for Sterling if you want to play it safe, Walcott if you're in a daring mood.

I've only thought about 3 weeks GW8-10. Sterling(EVE, SOU, wba). Walcott (SWA, MID, sun). Clearly Arsenal's fixtures are better than City's. I have Sanchez & Aguero. But I expect Arsenal to score more those 3 weeks. So I might just go with Walcott.

If just for next 3 GWs then surely Walcott.

No. Dawson has the RB spot and Brunt is coming back from injury on the left. There is Galloway too.

            Hi all, RP:

            Current team is:

            Heaton - Pickford
            Lovren - Baines - Evans - Amat - Wilson
            Sanchez - Firmino - Antonio - Capoue - Snodgrass
            Aguero - Ibra - Benteke

Shall I bench Baines and play Amat? I don't really want to play Amat and was hoping to save my FT this week however, Baines's injury might force my hand as I see no real advantage in playing AOA.

or ship for another 5.7 DEF?

Baines should be back after the int break anyways if he misses, similar boat to me to be honest. Kinda want to save.

            B) Kone
            C) AOA Capoue.

Hmmm... I am really thinking of going with Heaton since i expect ARS to have a few long range shots to get around 6 saves. So, might start him.

Think that Foster in your situation is a better bet, since i think both will score and end up 1-1 or something.

I think Pickford be ok because Heaton play against Arsenal and I think Arsenal will score

Think both will concede and think Heaton will have a bunch of saves.
