A reminder that, for this contest there are more than £1,000 worth of prizes for UK based entrants courtesy of our partner FanDuel, as well as £350 in Amazon vouchers to the top three managers at the end of the competition.

The competition’s highest placed manager Bashvilla, who is placed 9,708 in the world, will face Hazardous Blue, after seeing off Real Sociopath 47 – 39 in the last 16 round, which took place in Gameweek 19.

Hazardousblue is ranked just under 50,000 places below the competition favourite and prevailed over Lowlifegimpe 57 to 43 in round seven.

The second highest placed manager, 14,654 ranked Moin, squares up to malvernangells, who is just 2,000 places behind him following Gameweek 19’s fixtures.

Our other quarter-finals see Back on the Horse take on David Brains. The former will be the favourite with a rank of 18,929 compared to his opponent’s placing of 69,806.

Finally, the contest’s lowest ranked manager, 306,421 placed Urchin, has a tough encounter with a A Manager Has No Name, who sits in the top 40,000 following his Gameweek 19 victory over jacknap.

The manager to win the highest score prize in the last sixteen, claiming £30 credit from FanDuel, is David Brains who scored 60 points in his defeat of Big Phil Soccer Team.

The managers to earn a £10 FanDuel credit for the next highest scores were: Hazardous Blue, A Manager Has No Name, Urchin and jacknap.

    KDB & Firmino owners what are we doing? They`re still in my team, always other priorities... Who to get for them?

    A. Pogba
    B. Mkhitaryan
    C. Alli (I have Eriksen already...)

    Or leave them in my team for now and do Amat to Ake.

    Just can't get rid of Bobby from my team. New issues every week, last week Pickford and Walker. This week Mane & Nyom, not to mention Siggy and Smith occupying space. He just clings to my team delivering 2 pointers relentlessly.

      Hull & Swansea in the next 4, maybe the Coutinho return will help too?

    Better option?

    A) Kane + Hazard + Rondon (Have Phillips & Brunt) 3-4-3

    B) Alli + Costa + Walcott (if fit next week) 3-5-2

    Appreciate your thoughts!

    Origi owners - what are you doing with him?

    Replacing him with another in his price range?

    Scaling him right down and changing formations as the options are not great?

    Putting more money onto his position and looking at a Defoe/Benteke/Giroud type striker?

      Definitely upgrading. Might cut some funds from Defence to go Kane, otherwise probably Lukaku (or Defoe but less keen).

      I'm forced to hold for now since I don't want anything else in his price range (can only go up to 7.0) and the only funds I can free up are from Hazard, who I want for Hull at home.

      Think he'll get minutes over the next few weeks and possibly an assist or a goal. Which is about as much as I expect from the likes of Gray, Carroll, Rondon et al.

      Probably end up with Trollkaku.

    Heaton,Pickford
    Alonso, Jones, Holebas, Evans, Amat
    Sanchez, Hazard, Lallana, Phillips, Roon
    Aguero, Costa, Carroll

    I'm 0.1 short to ship Holebas for Bellerin, so that's out. Would you;
    a/ Holebas/Evans to Kosc
    b/ Holebas/Evans to Baines, with enough ITB for Carroll to Rondon next week

            He's a nice steady transfer in and leave player. He will get blanks in 'easy' fixtures sometimes, but for his price he will provide nice returns over the season. I'd never trust him with the armband though. Hard to predict.

    Had my best ever season when I had Drogba, Lampard and Terry for almost the whole season (Others had a similar experience with Malouda instead of Terry). I intend to do the same this year with Costa, Hazard and Alonso. I was so late to the Costa train though. When they are winning home and away, destroying small teams and keeping CSs, it can't go wrong really.

      I think this Chelsea team isn't on the same level as that team. I had Lamps, Drogba and Cashley for a large period of it.

      Also the "smaller" teams are a lot better than they were.

      Don't like it personally - that feels like just capping the home player, and I think opponent strength is more important. I like Aguero, Costa, Sanchez more that week.

    Really nice that is. I went for a mad punt by doing Eriksen > Silva because I had no value tied up and I would just get him back in.

    However....just realised my son has Eriksen so i can get Alli instead. Possibly the best match up in the game right now. Happy days.

      Refer to rule 4.2 of Fantasy Football Scout.

      4.2. Under no circumstances should members consider signing Defoe regardless of the fact he is the best cheap pick in the game. Members should instead choose to pretend it's not happening and continue to pick Rondon, Benteke or Andy Caroll instead.

      He'll definetly start against MUN I think

      After that he might not start if Coutinho is back fit.

      Wijnaldum Can Henderson
      Firmino Lallana Coutinho

    Hi guys,

    Need some help between the possible transfers (2FT. 1.6 ITB):

    1. Siggy + Anichibe -> Defoe + Philips/Holbeas (have McAuley)
    2. Hazard + Anichibe -> Defoe + Alli/Eriksen (have McAuley)
    3. Siggy + Anichibe + Hazard -> Lukaku + Philips + Alli (For a hit)

    My reasons are:
    - I have Costa, so I think having Hazard alongside is currently a waste of a LOT of money which could be used elsewhere.
    - Siggy has to go because of the horrible fixtures.
    - Lukaku and Defoe both have very good fixtures and are more or less guaranteed/sole scorers from their respective teams
    - Having Spurs coverage seems to be a safe bet, given their fixtures and current return to form

    Any opinions would be really helpful!

    Cheers

          It is still wise to have a contingency plan to get him in
          We all know what he is capable of after all
          But the smart money would be to wait and see if he is going to be value for money first Jesus might change everything

      I'm with you, I don't think he's suddenly become a much worse option. I don't like Pep's tinkring but when he plays (and surely most of the time he will) he'll still be banging in the goals.

          Same , but we were very lucky he did'nt start . Nacho missed a couple that Kun would have surely buried

      I think a fair number took a few hits to get him in and as such his return was an effective fail.
      Think I can do better without, till gw 24 anyway.
      However you factor in fixtures at yr peril with Kun , so could well backfire

    Best strategy when you are 120 points behind your ML leader, but your team is starting to look good:

    A) Get in Sanchez, probably for Hazard

    B) Just forget about Sanchez

      If you are trying to make up a gap like that there is no point picking the players everyone else has
      You will have to roll the dice and diff your team up but the problem is that you have just as good a chance of ending up 240 points behind

    How's this. Hold Origi for next 2 and see how Mane departer affects his place. Then if needed, Shift to Gray in GW23 and upgrade ROse or Walker into defense. BUR have a decent run from 23 (LEI, wat, CHE, hul, , swa, liv, sun) albeit 4 straight road encounters.

    GW23 team

    Heaton, Jaku
    Rose, Baines, Alonso, Ake, Amat
    Sanchez, Oouts, Khki, Phillips, Allen
    Kun, Ibra/Costa, Gray
