The Dugout Discussion – Leicester City vs Manchester United

After Gabriel Jesus downed Swansea with a double at the Etihad, we make our way to the King Power as Leicester City entertain Manchester United in the final fixture of Gameweek 24.

Despite back-to-back blanks, Zlatan Ibrahimovic was once again the most captained player for this round of matches – he was handed the armband by 20.5% of Fantasy Premier League managers.

The likes of Paul Pogba and Henrikh Mkhitaryan could emerge as differentials against a defence that’s conceded at least twice in five of their last six home matches.

With a blank Gameweek 26 and potential blank in Gameweek 28, though, Jose Mourinho’s men are far from our short-term plans right now.

Leicester’s unconvincing form at both ends of the pitch bodes well for the Red Devils – with a single goal scored in the last six Gameweeks, those holding the likes of David de Gea and Antonio Valencia will be optimistic of a clean sheet.

    Asking for a friend, is it silly to wildcard now? Blanks coming up but my friend's team has not been delivering. Has a lot of deadweight: Aguero, Pogba, Crouch, poor defence and team value.

    Or should he just be patient and take it transfer by transfer until the double game weeks?

      DO NOT Wildcard... it is worth 100k O.R. when played correctly with double gameweeks. I made this mistake last year. No matter how bad you think your team is, stick to only FT's or 4 pt hits then you will recover with a well played Wildcard/Bench Boost/Triple Captain.

      You're effectively ending your season early by not using wildcard for DGWs.

        I completely agree, told him the same thing last year and it paid off for both me and my friend. The best thing about holding it so long was the almost instant results. The chips guarantee a 100+ week each time

        I think Spurs might suffer when Europa league kicks back in... prefer Costa over Kane for me to accompany Ibra & Lukaku up front... Got Alli for 8.1 so he is going nowhere between now & end of year.

        I think Alli/Eriksen or Alli/Walker is the right amount to have invested in Spurs.

        Kane is class though & could just bang in a hattrick in any game to make this look ridiculous.
