Dugout Discussion – Arsenal vs Hull City

The Gameweek begins at the Emirates Stadium as Arsenal host Hull City with thousands of Fantasy Premier League armbands placed on Alexis Sanchez.

Owned by 35.3% of FPL managers and topping our Gameweek Captain Poll, the Chilean is handed the central striker role once again for the Gunners, having produced either a goal or an assist in ten of his last twelve Gameweeks.

However, Sanchez has provided just one double-digit return since his staggering 23-point haul at West Ham and he last scored big at the Emirates back in Gameweek 13 against Bournemouth.

His legion of backers will look for that trend to change in today’s outing, against a Hull City rearguard that arrives in North London on the back of successive clean sheets against Manchester United and Liverpool.

The scene is set for a classic attack vs defence encounter, with all eyes on Sanchez throughout.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Sanchez's penalty could easily have been saved, and then he scores the rebound. Why couldn't this have happened arghhh

      Big issue is the next gane seems so far away that any good haul rodays from ibra may be forgotten in a week and then the landslide begins

    Was hoping all week, a Sanchez brace will fool people into buying him with the way the fixtures are listed this year. 365 transfers in for Sanchez already I think. Come on people, keep buying him, my transfer plans depend on him not dropping in value.

        Yeah, for you that makes sense.

        For me, it all comes down to how Pogba looks today. If I want to keep him for BOU then Can is my only option to upgrade and I won't have the cash for Siggy. If I end up getting rid of Pogba (which I likely will) then the options open up.

    So FPL doesn't flag a player if he isn't playing next game week due to a blank? This is huge for price rises and falls in my opinion, no wonder people are transferring in Sanchez.

    Afternoon all.Could you help me with a dilemma?
    I have both Sunderland keepers and want to bring in Jaku for one of them.Trouble is I don't know if Mannone will retain his place next game week as Pickford is close to fitness.Which would you swap out? Has to be done tonight due to Jaku rising.
