Dugout Discussion – Spurs vs Swansea

Saturday’s action concludes at Wembley Stadium as Tottenham Hotspur entertain Swansea City in the 5.30pm kick-off.

All eyes are on Harry Kane after he scored twice in each of his last two appearances for the north London outfit over the last few days.

Over 20% of FPL managers have handed him the armband this week – second, once again, to Romelu Lukaku’s 30% backers.

Kane was handed the armband by 17 of the top 100 heading into Gameweek 5, while team-mates Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli were selected by nine and seven of that elite group respectively.

All three start along with Heung-Min Son but Mauricio Pochettino sorely disappoints the 345,000+ who drafted in Ben Davies by benching the Welshman against his former side.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

So I captained Jesus, when I saw the score 0-6 and was instantly happy with it. But when I actually saw the goal scorer was so disappointed to see Jesus score only 1

I am so mad at myself I took a -8 hit to get a city cover Jesus (c) which Seriously feels like a blank considering Aguero's points

Sorry everyone, this is my fault. I not only transferred Kane in but I captained him too.

More to do with Wembley factor

Spurs beat Dortmund 3-1 on Wednesday at Wembley. Hardly a Wembley factor is it

Looking at Alonso and Firmino out for Aguero and any 4.6 defender. Worth a punt (depending on how Alonso looks tomorrow)?

Big part of it is chasing points admittedly but just had a look at the fixtures. 3 of City's next 4 are at home v poor teams and 3 of Liverpool's next 4 are away and the one home game is Man U.

Spurs need to score one to draw Swansea out a little and leave more space. Swansea are comfortable at the moment.

Aguero is going to be benched next week isn't he?

Played full 90 today, while Jesus got taken off early (Jesus lone striker next week?)
With CL and Chelsea away coming up, I've got a feeling he'll be rested for Crystal Palace as it is a game they'll win regardless.

No chance. They'll both be rested midweek in C CUP. Aguero will play 100%

We give the Burnley-WBA matches some stick when they are bad, but this was appalling from Spurs. Don't think they created 1 clear chance.
