The ScoutCast – Episode 233 – Surgio

It seems that every Fantasy Football manager in the land is seeking counsel.

Sergio Aguero’s 20-points has caused joy and consternation – mainly the latter – and we’re all in need of reassurance and solutions.

The ScoutCast crew are no different.

Granville, Jonty, Andy and Az join me in searching for answers, thankful for the opportunity to bounce ideas and opinion.

Contrary to popular thinking, among the noise and chatter, we do arrive at a tentative conclusion.

All but one of us are willing to bend to Sergio’s surge in points and popularity or fall for Pep’s potential plot. We’re abstaining on the Aguero option for now and, over this 90 minutes, we’ll tell you just why.

Aguero dominates, but we have ample time to entertain other community questions, discussing Harry Kane’s latest failings, the premium defenders that warrant our trust and our cash, while Jonty is itching to take us through his handpicked bonus magnet XI.

This ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Tuesday night. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Really tempted to use free chip to change from this:-

    Fabianski
    Bellerin Jones Alonso
    Salah Carroll Eriksen Ritchie
    Morata Kane(c) Rooney(v)

    Elliot RLC Cedric Tuanzabe

    To this:-

    Fabianski
    Kolasanic Otamendi Baines
    Salah Ramsey Silva Siggy
    Aguero(c) Lacazette(v) Rooney

    Elliot Carroll Rosenior Tuanzabe

Looks tempting doesn't it? Should I

    A go for it
B stick with what I have

Elliot for me. Swansea's clean sheets have come away from home and against tough teams. They will try to play against Watford, and I rate the Watford front line highly.

    Best option out of these?

    A) Bertrand ➡ Monreal

    B) Suttner ➡ Tarkowski (Bench Bertie)

    C) Save FT & start Suttner. Next week Suttner & Bertrand to 4.0 & Kolasinac.

Wildcarding during IB so transfers are short term.

    Appreciate your thoughts!

Thoughts on best WC 4.5 mid ?

RLC - looks good, but terrible fixtures and could be 4.4 after mcy, mun, CHE

If on WC, is it worth trying to get ahead of the curve a little with Hazard and Coutinho?

They're being eased in and both should be starting in a couple of games, if not this weekend. Both explosive, decent near term fixtures.

Note: For Cout, would be doubling up with Salah.

      1. Shifty
        • 10 Years
        6 years, 7 months ago

that would be the alternative. Idk, i'm already playing catchup and I feel saving the next 2 transfers for changes I can make now just put me behind the curve again.

My thinking is that if I do that in a couple of weeks, others would do it as well. And the likely reason would be one, or both, getting on the scoresheet between now and then.

    2. Our Man Charlie

Salah would be the de-facto LIV player for me at the moment. Coutinho as a differential and placeholder for Mane / Alli / Eriksen if need to make a quick switch.

it's risky....could find myself further behind if both don't start this weekend!

    ITB: 0,9
    FT: 1
Total points: 277 (could influence how you guys would/would not take hits)

    Current team:

    Lukaku, Kane, Chicharito

    What to do?

    Chicharito -> Rooney (0,4 ITB)
    Chicharito + Mbemba -> Woods + Monreal (-4)
