FPL Gameweek 6 Update

As many of you will have seen this morning, some of the bonus points from last weekend’s games have been altered in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game. The reason for this was that the Press Association tracking data crashed in the second half in the middle of Saturday’s games – as a result, that they have had to re-watch all of the matches that took place that day and subsequently adjust any affected fixtures.

Going on the spreadsheet I have in front of me, it appears the following games will be altered:

Fulham v Man City
John Arne Riise will now get the maximum bonus. Carlos Tevez keeps his two and David Silva receives one. Previously, Silva had three and Gael Clichy picked up one but Riise has now been attributed with 5 blocks, raising his PPI score significantly.

Stoke v Swansea
The only change here is that Jon Walters and Charlie Adam now pick up a single bonus point apiece instead of Asmir Begovic. Initially, Begovic had received bonus despite making just two saves – this has been rectified.

Sunderland v Wigan
James McClean no longer has bonus points in this one. Previously, the winger had been awarded two – this now goes to Stephane Sessegnon, who had received a single BP beforehand. As a result, Adam Johnson now gets the single bonus point.

The correct data was only forwarded to FPL this morning but the recalculations are now underway and we can hopefully expect autosubs to be sorted soon.

Can anyone clear up something for me about wildcards? If I play mine next week over the international break and transfer out RVP, I get 13.2 for him as I bought him for 13 and now he's 13.5, but over the 2 weeks I decide to get him back, do I loose 0.3 or does he slot back in where he was?
Also, if that's not enough, if I sell X for 5.2 at the start of the period and he plummets to 5.0 before the deadline, I presume I still get the 5.2, do I?

      It's counted as a transfer & then buying him back is a new transfer.

  If you transfer RVP out, you'd have to pay whatever the market value is at the time of repurchase to get him back (so currently that's 13.5 and you'd lose your 0.3).
  
  You're right on the second point.
  
  Basically it doesn't matter whether your actions all take place within a single gameweek or across many, the buying/selling rules are the same.

  One thing I've come to notice that all teams no matter how bad - a good example would be Lampbert of soton score points , and he for example returns more points per million per game than most ,
  With the likes of city - you get what you pay for sometimes at a high cost ,
  So going without any City /utd/Chelsea / arsenal players ain't the end of the world,
  Saying that Rvp never leaves my team ( only for Pog - 🙂 )

  Wigan we're unlucky not to score against Sunderland, who so far have been very ordinary this season. No other player apart from Fletcher has scored for them, which isn't a good sign. I think Man City could put them to the sword.

Was dead set on doing either Berba -> Lambert or Tevez -> Ba for this week, but with both Berba and Tevez likely to feature now I'm not sure. So what should I do?:

A) Yaya -> Gervinho
B) Hazard -> Bale
C) Pienaar/Michu -> Ramirez
D) Do Tevez -> Ba anyway.

Suarez. You could argue he won't score again for ages after 3 in his last game.

Bonus points for goal keepers are a joke this season. First the give Begovic 1 BP and now they take it away.

Anyway just look at the distribution of BPs to keepers... 6 points in 7 weeks for all keepers!!

Considering bringing in Lambert, as much as I think Southampton will struggle they have a nice run of fixtures between now and 1st Dec and surely he will be amongst everything up top.
