When was the last time you predicted a player's gametime correctly based on putting yourself in the manager's shoes?

I wasn't expecting to hear that at all 😆

I really think you might as well aim at a dartboard.

I have no idea what Moyes is gonna do with Fellaini or Anichebe, but hopefully something good, because if neither plays I'll be counting on Pearce to field 11.

"Now I'm sure McDermott will want to drop Morrison for Pearce after that shocking loss to Wigan..."

It's irrelevant as we don't have access to all of the information.

More importantly, we also don't know what the manager is thinking. Quotes don't help with this as they are often intentionally misleading.

Plenty of time to get injured which is how I'd look at it if I was the manager and had strength in depth like SAF does. Looking at player's history RVP is injury prone, he's their best striker and will be needed for Madrid whereas 1->2 of Hernandez, Wellbeck and Rooney can easily get the job done against Norwich. RVP is needed injury free versus Madrid.

The bigger factor is that it's in Manchester. The 1st leg was in Madrid and there was less time between that the Everton game, where he played.

RVP to get 60-70 mins for me. Been banging this drum all week!

He's been 'risking' RVP all season, including vs. Everton, which was 3 days before the AWAY leg in Madrid.

I think a lot of this talk is based on peoples fears rather than the realities.

Massive difference between versus Everton and versus Norwich, and this is further along in the season. If they lose against Madrid they're out of the Champions League what happens in the worst case scenario that they lose against Norwich which I can't see happening even without RVP in the squad?

That's true, I expect him to start however. I think they'll try and kill off the game early on then give him a rest.

As for the next 2 GWs only issue is if the GW29 match is rescheduled to midweek instead.

I feel as if I'll be forced to get him back, if there's a DGW. But then he might not even play in both games of a DGW, if they are still fighting on 3 fronts.

So your plan includes not getting him again?
I´d say that is madness, but this has been discussed to death and if that is your plan, I´m sure the fear will talk louder to get him for a DGW...

Right now I'm flexible, I have the money. But if United progress against Real, then it casts doubt on just how many of the remaining 9 GWs RVP will feature in.

Remember last season, when Suarez only played the first game of the DGW because they wanted to keep him fresh for the FA Cup Semi at the weekend? This could happen again, with with RVP.

I agree, but do you have the guts to go into a Utd. DGW without RvP?

I know I don´t... that´s why my plan includes getting rid of him next GW(if canceled fixture) but bringing him back straight away the week after... I must say I won´t lose many value on this (0.1, 0.2).

I've only got Mata, RVP, Aguero and Walcott in the GW29 minefield, so should I use or save the FT? Rival has Lambert, if that makes any difference.

This means dropping Walcott to the bench? Would this be considered madness by most?

Yo JT. I'm all over the shop.

Did Demel & Noble (for a hit) out early doors for Wilson & Sissoko (as had no slack in bank).

Now they're both currently on my bench 😀 what a nugget.

Anyways........currently shift (c) to Bale with (vc) on Lambert as know my closest rival will c Bale.

Ah good good, the eternal dilemma of the spotless Demel finally solved, good riddance i say 🙂
Bale is tempting, as is Lambo obviously, will toss a coin tomorrow i think 😉

Great to see you got a green arrow even with that Noble no-show. Was spewing but Bale won me my H2H in the 90min so no dramas in the end.

Tell me about it, and i had called a WHam penalty earlier that day too, shame really, he would have slotted it home had he started.
The green arrow was down to Bale and Lambo bonus' in the end. Bang in form, good times ahead.

Oh yeah and he scored a peno. My head nearly exploded.

Your ability not to take hits is defo helping big time. The extra 4pts would've given me agreed arrow also.

Problem is I want to win bot my ML's and sometimes, gotta take the hit, cause I've worked out what rivals are doing. So far it's working but affects overall rank.

And what about RVP? What's the plan?

Reckon I'll start him but not captain and have Sissoko first on the bench. Giving

        Bale (c) - Mata - Michu - Walcott
RVP - Suarez - Lambo (vc)

Sissoko ready to step up for RVP no-show. What you reckon?

          Start him mate.
Sissoko is excellent cover in case of a no show.
          Good team there.

70,000 people have already transferred out RvP this week. I'd like to see that plotted against the average ranks of players selling him.

I guess the removal of the flag will slow down sales.

.. still been 5k+ sales since the flag was removed if I'm reading FISO correctly.
