Half Season Memberships Now Available

For those of you yet to join, half-season memberships to Fantasy Football Scout are now available. You can sign up or upgrade your account for the rest of the season for just £10, which will give access to the Members Area and all Members content up until June 1 2014.

If you’ve already got a “Free” account, you can upgrade to a Member via this link. If you’ve yet to register an account with us, you can use this link to register as a member. All payments are made via Paypal.

We’ve also updated Rate My Team and Projections over the last few days, which should help with that all-important wildcard decision over between now and the end of Gameweek 23.

There’s a selection of clips on the Member Benefits page which show how to use both “The Players” and “My Team” in the Rate My Team tool. Click here to check out those clips and more.

      If you fancy a punt, next week at least Sturridge returning to a home game against Villa might justify a double up, but not sure he's worth it this week.
      
      Otherwise, Negredo at home to Cardiff and Southampton options are probably the more sensibel shout.

My mate got bored over christmas:

below are the English translations of famous Premier League players, and you have to guess who they are (e.g. Laurent Blanc- Laurence White). Obviously because it's me, they are all French, Spanish, Czech or German, or at least have surnames which are in those languages. I shall put the club with each one to make it easier, but not the nationality, some are really obvious and some are really hard.

Sherwood playing homegrown players mean TOWNSEND would be a automatic starter ,so people who are opting for ADE/ERIKS ,Isn't townsend a better option .He's cheap ,takes lots of shot and now with wally out ,world cup place up for a grab .

Personally I don't think there are enough Members only articles.
Only two in over 2 weeks: "The Big Numbers" which is really just a recap of player/team form from the past few gameweeks.

The tool I use the most with my membership is the Season Ticker. But making "Frisking the Fixtures" available for all to read somewhat defeats one of the main reasons I paid for a membership in the first place.

In a lesser sense I also think topics like Spot the Differential, Goalkeeper Pairings, Wildcard related items etc should be membership only as well.

As it stands there's very little incentive to pay for a membership when a majority of the info I bought a membership for is simply posted in articles for all.

  However, "Frisking the fixtures" only takes a general look at the fixtures, the tools given to members allow them to "frisk" the fixtures in a more precise manner. I'm often very frustrated with that article, because it takes some time from me to evaluate, for example, defensive and attacking quality of fixtures for different teams. I've understood that it is made easy for members.

      Özil is season keeper imo. I would downgrade Terry to fund Aguero move. And Marshall isnt best keeper for 4.7 I would choose Mannone instead or maybe Davis&Boruc.

        Play davis until Boruc is fit. Sunderland has kept 3 cs in last 6 games and conceded 5.
        
        Cardiff has kept 1 cs and conceded 12 😀

Walcott getting injured mucked up my plan for the week. I was going to dump Debuchy for Koscielny for a Mert/Kos double up until my wildcard at the end of the month, but had to do Walcott to Ozil instead. Don't want to do a hit (for a change), so which sounds better for this week, Ward at Tottenham or Chester at home vs. Chelsea?

I want to do Rooney + Walcott -> Adebayor + Özil for a 4 pt. hit. But the problem is, if I do it then I can't do Lukaku to Agüero next week. (Falling £0.1m short.) Is there any chance Agüero will fall by £0.1m? Or should I just get JRod instead of Ade? Cheers.

Bought this half-season membership last-year and considering doing the same again..
Last year I was around 100pts clear in my ML, so buying the membership wasn't really necessary.
I got bored towards the end of the season and actually finished with a WC intact 😆

This year however, I'm getting shat on and could do with a boost. Only thing holding me back is that:

1) With all the tools etc. I tended to over-analyse and over-think decisions that would usually be simple, and waste time going round and round in circles over the same transfer.

2) The Ticker became the only tool I used within around 6 weeks of buying.

BUT
- The RMT tool was BRILLIANT (only stopped cause I lost interest in FPL)
- Member articles spot on

Tough decision.

  It is well worth it. Do you use the projections tab? It will definitely give you an edge in your ML which, for me anyway, means it pays for itself.
