The ScoutCast – Episode 144 – Squeaky

It’s “squeaky bum time” in the ScoutCast studio as Granville continues to chip away at my previously “unassailable” mini-league lead. My co-host stumbled through an injury-strewn Gameweek 12 with the honours, leaving me trailing and worrying that he’ll have clawed it all back by Christmas.

Pressing on, we flog the Hazard vs Fabregas debate once again and run the rule over a cast of budget strikers, desperately searching for the optimum way to spend the two transfers burning holes in our pockets.

We asses the week’s transfer bandwagons, look ahead to Gameweek 13 and take time out to tease Jonty on his Di Maria u-turn. We then combine “powers” to terrifying effect and prepare the ScoutCast XI for their Fantasy Football Scout Cup qualifying round, having flexed its muscles to the tune of a 59-point Gameweek 12. Intimidating stuff.

Lubricate your hinges via this link, or bathe in WD40 via the handy player below…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    If I don't do Dowing & Baines --> ADM & Naylor (-4),

    Chester to:

    A. Yun
    B. Naylor
    C. Rangel
    D. Azpi
    E. Terry

Really need your help on this one. Thoughts appreciated.

Obvs depends on Baines news and if you want to keep him. I'm trying to decide between D and E for Moore. Will probably go Terry.

I would keep Downing and Baines personally.

100% B in my opinion, Chester to Naylor. Swansea have amazing fixtures and defensive form, so he's much better value than Terry.
Yun is crap and a filler, QPR won't get many cleanies.
Rangel and Azpi are good choices but I'd prefer Naylor.

QPR IS crap, but he could be a bargain. Big asking, though.

Not worried with the potential suspension? Thinking Rangel atm

Oh yeah I forgot he's one away from suspension, that changes things..

Rangel might be worth the extra 0.3 just for the lack of suspension threat.

I'd go for one of the Swansea lads anyway, I'm getting in Fabianski next week methinks.

AVL have played pretty solid tho, considering the teams they have played. All the injuries are a worry tho.
I just transfered in Guzan, just didnt want to spend more and he is a good option.

IF Baines is out u should be able to do Pelle, Welbeck and Baines to Aguero, Kane and a 5ish defender?

If Baines play, I would probably do Pelle - Bony and maybe Welbeck (if out) to Austin.

      So, wait for news

If Baines is out don't sell him, he'll be back soon. You'll just want him back. Trust your bench, Yun could well get a cleanse this week.

      C. I doubt he will be rotated as much as Terry. I bet Terry only plays 1 game this week coming.

Hey guys, I'm on quite a good run lately. Need to keep it going. Any suggestions?

    Krul Foster
    Baines Bertrand Rose Chambers Hutton
    Sanchez Fabregas Siggy Downing Boyd
    Aguero Costa Austin

    0 FT
    0.1 ITB

Done Berahino to Austin. Should I take a hit to get rid of one of Rose, Downing or Baines? If so, for whom?

    Cheers
