No hard cut off. Depends on your target as well, if you're chasing an individual then it will depend if theyre any good. If you're chasing a certain rank then that is harder, the individual could make mistakes as well as you doing better, but to reach a certain rank you will have to make up the points as even if some at that rank under perform others will take their place, so is harder.
At this stage anything up to 50 should be possible but much beyond that starts to look very very unlikely.
I dunno... I didn't have Silva or Puncheon the last three weeks, my nearest rival did. Not going to work out exactly how much that cost me, but... a lot.
Leading all three of my leagues by between 30 and 130 points. Not being complacent with any of them. (Although my lack of complacency hasn't stopped all three leads diminishing by between 10 and 40 points over the course of February!)

Trying to get a grip on this.... Next round of FA Cup falls during game week 33 I think? So four or five original kicks offs are under threat... but surely these game weeks would just be arranged midweek for the same game week, or is there a reason that an additional DGW could materialise as a result in 34 or around then?
Sitting on my wildcard and wanting to have clarity on whether there are really possibilities of additional DWG's?At most 3 games will need to be re-scheduled from GW 33.
PL games don't get scheduled to clash with CL so the 3 available midweek slots for re-scheduled PL games are GWs 31, 34 and 37.
It is possible for a game to be re-scheduled earlier than the planned date if there is sufficient time (the PL prefers 3 weeks notice to be given).
The FA Cup QFs happen more than 4 weeks before a possible GW 31 midweek game so GW 31 is a viable option in each case unless there's a replay.
It's down to the 2 clubs concerned to agree and then the PL to confirm.Thanks Ruth.... that is very useful information..... I guess we know the first part and its potential value after the results this weekend.
Second part then is anyones guess as it is the responsibility of the clubs to rearrange, but with the slight hope that 31 will be ruled out on basis of it requiring the clubs to get it sorted fast and the PL preferring 3 weeks notice.

When I have a certain amount to spend on a position, I always get drawn towards the more expensive player, even though they may not be better value or even the best source of points. Anyone else feel this? The prices seem to sway me at times.
They definitely did a few years ago but not this year; so much value (see strikers) to be had!

There is a certain logic to it because it is always easier to get rid of an expensive player should you want someone else in later.
I tend to do that with midfielders as I always make budget allowance for 3 premium mids. I tend to look for bargains in defence though.
I've done this loads in previous seasons but have steered clear of it this year and it seems to have paid off. Has seemed weird at times though having a load of money sitting in the bank doing nothing. Kun > Kane after his injury was probably my best buy of the season though.
Thinking ADM has to go although United has next 3/4 home games..

I have both but at the moment I would say Silva. Automated points preditions suggest Hazard out for Sanchez next GW and Silva (C). I'm not going for it but worth considering.

The front 3 is looking like a great place to get some differentials in:
Kane - Cheap, scores goals, in everyones team.
Aguero - Currently not really outperforming anyone else, expensive.
Giroud - Really consistent at the minute, seems undervalued looking at the amount of people who transferred for Austin
Austin - Cheap and needs to fire for QPR to stay up, should benefit from Philips.
Costa - Returning and deadly, ban/rotation risk.
Sturridge - Getting more game time and seems to always have a goal in him, very tempting right now.
Rooney - Currently playing up front again, if that continues he's going to get big hauls.
Berahino - Cheap, showing signs of his early season form and consistency again.
Lukaku/Cisse/Ings - Worth keeping an eye on for sure.

Costa hasnt played less than 70mins in any game. Jose wants him playing ans scoring to keep up his form. Usually 80 or 90mins. If anything he's the least likely to hit the showers out of the strikers you mentioned above

Got to the point now that this season has become so boring and template, the only fun thing left is preparing for upcoming blanks and DGWs. Completely fallen out of love with FPL this year, after taking a break last year but falling for it again in August.
Nobody is forcing you to stick to the template though, you're completely free to choose players like Ki and Moses who have performed better than the likes of Sanchez lately

Yeah I've been trying to do that a bit this last month. Even took an 8 point hit this week in the hope that it might get me some differentials from my rival but, of course, he's ended up with exactly the same players.
Yeah I know. This is probably the first time that I've been drawn in by the template, I think I've been on this site too much and might need to give it a break. When you get overexposed to the same names and the same bandwagons day in, day out, it effects you. In my better seasons, I would've done my own thing. I've got lost, and lost interest as a result.

Can someone be kind enough to explain why Countinho wasn't given an assist for Hendersons goal?
My confusion lies where if the attacker shoots and it rebounds off the keeper to another attacker an assist is given...In this instance Coutinho shoots and it rebounds off defender and into Hendersons path.
My curiosity probably lies with the fact I benched Hazard instead of Countinho to start Phillips(QPR) haha!I don't know why an assist is given if the keeper makes a save. As for hitting a defender; just crazy.
