Austin -> Murray, lets do it?
Austin has Chelsea and then blank...Murray has SUN (A) WBA (H) Hull (H) and then tough program.

Hmmm.. Could end up a wasted transfer then. And it's impossible to make anything out of Mourinho's comments. If he starts against QPR and United it could still be worth the gamble though..

Agree, Murray with 5 goals in 5 games kind of essential now, just wish I got him in 2 weeks earlier 🙁

Very good question. Based on his stats he was one of the best 5 midfielders in Europe based on interceptions/goals etc up until end of last year (http://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/article/2014/10/29/jedinak-rated-europes-best-midfield-player) he then Captains the Aussies to win the Asian Cup 2015, but the truth is with Mac and Ledley in midfield we are allot more balanced, is a real tough call for Pards, a nice headache to have for sure, dont think he can drop either on our current form.

Thanks mate. If he didn't walk straight back in it would be good for Murray (on pens), but it's hard to see that considering he is captain.

4th place is a trophy so I guess he gets a knighthood for 2nd, right?

This is all part of the planned agony for Gooners fans. Every time you get near to getting him out the team improves and he re-establishes his hold. Hopes rise. Then the following season they are cruelly dashed again.

Gabriel is nowhere near good enough, you still need a top centre half. Flamini is inadequate cover for Coquelin, you still need a top CM/DM. And you have zero cover for Giroud - I don't think Welbeck counts. So you need a top striker as well.

How many of those do you think Wenger will buy in the summer? Because you won't be winning the PL without them. Much to admire about Arsenal but them's the facts as far as I see them.

Damn that redirect it is so annoying. I tried everything:

    Scanned with:
    - Microsoft Security Essentials
    - Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
    - tdsskiller from Kaspersky
    - HitmanPro
    - adwcleaner
    - EmsisoftEmergencyKit (pending)

Tried several tutorials on youtube, reset settings on chrome, re-installed it, rebooted several times and again problems. It is soooo annoying. My Browsers keeps redirecting to some strange pages and it is completely random, sometimes redirect sometimes not.

    Please help.

      it's probably adware/virus

you don't need to format the hard disk. It's been picked up by a site you have visited recently. It will take time but you can clear it. Shut down all browsers and run spybot/update it and then remove risks (you will see many adware loaded on your machine, most are not risks but one probably is causing the redirect)

Any of them but I suggest the Safer Networking Limited downloads since they are the actual gang who make SpyBot. Then you'll get a load of options to pay/donate for it etc. but you can click on "download" and it'll start.

Spy bot Search and destroy for Spyware/Adware.
      Install AdBlock for Chrome.
You've already run Malwarebytes but possibly look at running Avast! antivirus, it is free to download.

      1. FPL Daniel

That is the problem. I can't install AdBlock for Chrome. It doesn't allows me. I keep pressing the + button but nothing. Will try Spybot.

          Hmm. Very odd.

This may sound absolutely ridiculous but have you tried installing adblock while acting as an administrator? I'm sure you know how to do that but just in case, right click on the Chrome icon and click "Run as administrator" and then try to install AdBlock, it might help.

Avast! is a good antivirus software as well, completely free so worth looking at if the problem persists but I'd have thought Malwarebytes would have found whatever it was if it was serious malware.

Yeah it does sound really strange Daniel, and I'm certainly no expert on all of this. 🙁

I think SpyBot is the way to go here, I started using it many years ago when I had similar issues and it really is excellent so hopefully that will sort you out!

Backup essential data, sounds dodge. Don't try restoring any files later without a good AV scan.

Do other browsers cause same issue.

      Could be a pesky update.

Run a system restore to the point where everything was good before.

So another fail for Aguero. Would it be fair to say that given Giroud's form he would have to score a brace every game to justify paying so much more for him than the former donkey ?...I can't for the life of me think why I have him when Giroud will probably outscore him anway even if he returns to form.

Totally agree. It just feels so wrong getting Giroud in with the blank in 33.
I think I have to boringly stick with Aguero as his fixtures are still great plus I have an injured Costa to deal with and an upcoming Austin blank GW...

Shots in the box is misleading.

Aguero has scored most of his goals from the 6-12 yard range. Now (4-2-2-2) he he still getting shots away but many more are from 12-18 yards. Still counted as shots in the box but it's harder to score from there.

He has also been reduced to shooting from outside the box which really isn't his game.

Great player, wrong position. Reverse of Rooney who is a great player that's now in his right position.

Jamie Carragher brought up a really good point about City after the match.

Sometimes a team can be so good and so dominant that they actually start to affect their own ability to score and win games. He reminded everybody of Chelsea two years ago having so many players in the box that they couldn't actually score (I remember it) and now City have fallen into the same trap. Do they not just need to back off a lot and let the game breathe ?..

    1. Ruth_NZ
      • 9 Years
      9 years, 2 months ago

4-2-3-1 might be a good idea.

Play Aguero upfront with Silva behind. If they play that way they'll give United a game (but still lose I think). If Pellegrini rolls out the 4-2-2-2 again they could be humiliated.

      1. Dr Dream
        • 11 Years

They just look like they need more space to play. However that's dressed up, and whatever formation is called, it has to be better than trying to score through a packed out penalty area all the time. Or at least mix it up between playing on the break and how they do it now...

I watched the Real Madrid game at the weekend..even they seem to score a high number of goals on the break even whilst dominating a game....They have far more space to play in than City.

I didn't see most of the game until the last 10 or so minutes when City were pressing a lot. But in the Burnley game, they looked to be controlling possession in a very lethargic way. More than once I saw Yaya telling other players to slow down even though it was still 0-0 and they weren't really making many chances. Part of me wonders if they are going too slow at the start, allowing a shock goal happen, and then starting to hit panic mode and lump everyone forward to get back into the game.

They need to stop letting Navas try to cross the ball as well. Massive waste of attacking chances every single game.

Agreed. I think if they woke up a bit early on they could inflict some damage quickly and get a good foothold, score early and then try to retain possession and frustrate. Currently they only seem to wind up frustrating themselves.

They were far too slow on the ball, passing it around and not knowing how to penetrate. CP had time to set their defence and just be positionally onto it. City needed to be much quicker in order to test them and stretch the defence. A few more shots from distance might have helped as well, that would have drawn the CP defence out a lot more, City's reluctance to shoot enabled Palace to just sit on the edge of the box and block any passage through

But he never plays up front on his own, even when the team sheet says he is the striker. They play with about seven players running around the edge of the box and going nowhere sometimes.

Nasri is a good player imo. Shows far more flair and isn't afraid to shoot from outside the box when coming in on his left, he was missed today. Jovetic and Milner could have added a lot more too.

      Pellegrini is a puzzle.
His reliance on Navas, 0 goals and generally ineffective and 1 dimensional.
His constant rotating of his defenders, argueably the one area you don't rotate.
His inability to get the best out of Dzeko, Jovetic, Negredo(gone, I know)and early days in fairness, Bony - leaving him totally reliant on an injury prone Aguero.
Not getting the best out of Yaya.
Strange reluctance to use Lamps, Milner and now Nasri.
      Stubborn or incompetent?
      I don't get it.

Muppets said it above but I'll say it myself: their players are good enough.

Chelsea winning the league is the predicted outcome and they have hardly been vintage. I think Europe showed their limitations for what they are.

A half decent City side would have challenged. Their defence is non existent and bar Silva Agüero they offer little going forward.

Champions League: 8 games, 4 wins, 4 draws.

Going out to PSG on away goals is no embarrassment. PSG are a top team.

Chelsea lack depth and a couple of quality players. Will be rectified in the summer I expect.

PSG weren't being called a top team by many before putting Chelsea out.

          They are hardly a powerhouse.

My point is not to be critical of Chelsea but to highlight that the Premier League was very winnable this season.

City have been awful yet they are not a million miles off, United the same for them. City should really have put up a better fight.

No use arguing Chelsea matters with Ruth.

An Austin brace tomorrow or even a goal +bps could turn mini leagues on their heads.

Tomorrow is the game I expected Austin to get his points in to!

You see how critical it could be when you look at your rivals teams and they don't even own Austin!!

I have led my mini leagues most of the season but in the last 6/7 weeks I have been pegged back to within a few points..

Fair to say Austin (c) has already given me breathing space again!

          Good man yourself Viper!

I lost my way with 7 consecutive reds.

          I had basically given up.

That is the risk with Remy. I think the best thing to do is wait for the press conferences then we might know more information.

The way Costa was walked off the field leads me to think he is out for a while. Remy worries me with Drogba lurking around. Wait for pressers but I would assume Costa out for a while

2nd GK for the blank is a good start.
Bellerin, PVA, Hutton, Austin & Sanchez are issues in GW33.
