Amongst tonight’s topics are Chelsea’s stand-in striker and in-form wide man, the City midfield, Palace’s form players at both ends of the pitch and Villa and Arsenal’s clinical frontmen.

Would it be better to WC before the DGW or after? At this point I'm leaning to use my WC before.

Just before for me but it depends on your current squad I guess.

What worries me is the Liv-Chelsea game on GW 36. Would have to have gotten rid most of my Liverpool players by then.

Both have great games in gw35 so could easily replace two with Arsenal players ready for the double in GW37

    We good to go?

    Panti/Hamer
    Terry Ivan Rose Naughton Biard
    Silva Hazard Eriksen Mane Boyd
    Augero Giroud Kane
    2 FT

Is it time to get rid of Augero? I'm already planning WC GW34

I wanna do Naughton + Panti --> Bertrand + Davis

    How does that sound?

      Naughton - Schlupp

      For bench cover this week
Starter next week, when Austin's not available.
Then the double the following week.

Costa due back for DGW34 puts Remy off the cards then. 2 GWs isn't really worth it.
And Sturridge's GW33 blank makes him a bad pick too.

Would you say Rooney is the best Costa replacement at the moment?

6th hamstring injury this season 😯 he really is another VDV. Can't knock him though, he keeps coming back after only a short lay off.

            No it's not.

And even where that is concerned it's only a re-hash of the original Telegraph article.

It's not similar. Only the headline is.

Chances of Costa being back for the DGW are very slim. More likely he doesn't play again this season.

If it's only for two weeks Rooneys fixtures couldn't be much tougher even though he's bang in form.

Remy is a bit of a punt but I'm not convinced Costa will be rushed back - the title will be a near certainty in two weeks time 🙁

What makes you so sure that Costa won't play in the DGW? I want Remy, but not if Costa is rushed back for the Arsenal match.

I'm not sure, I just think it's unlikely. After what happened to Costa I think it looks longer term and I don't see them rushing him back, especially as the title will be as good as won by then

If there's one thing I've learnt this season is that you should never buy a player just coming back from injury. I like Lukaku but that knock may affect his performance, or a re-occurrence may happen during the match.

I'm keeping Aguero, still think he'll produce decent returns in the next few, especially as Dzeko will likely get dropped & Bony injured/probably won't start due to two up front not really working for City.

Aguero on his own getting all the points as it should be...

Morning, what a long hangover that was. Dropped 3500 places to 7k and lost H2H top spot. Just picking through strategy ideas. Could anyone offer any insight?

    Panti / Krul
    Terry Clyne PVA Naylor Haidara
    Mata Eriksen Hazard Silva Cork
    Aguero Kane Giroud.
    1FT, 0.8 ITB

Got rid of Ozil for Mata last week. Tempted to get rid of any of Mata, Cork, Haidara.

Still have WC but reading here I'm hanging in til DGW.

      Same here.

Id already been obliterated the week before by choosing Kun as © over a hat-trick scoring Kane, 3rd place captained him and smashed it, cutting 30 points out of my lead and taking 2nd.

This week my rival took a punt on Phillips and Austin whereas I only had the latter. Another 20 points clawed back.

In two weeks Ive seen my healthy lead destroyed because unlike my nearest rivals, I was unwilling to take a hit.

      Twitchy bum time.

Aha it seems our situations are similar. I captained Kun over Kane last week. All my rivals captained Kane. Had Austin this week, one rival captained him, the other had Phillips. Most certainly squeaky bum time.

I think Hull and Liverpool decide themselves when it will be held as per both of their convenience...

    Good morning.

I'd like to mention one little thing that may change our thoughts about 34DGW (I think that is possible someone else said that, sorry i have got no time to read all the comments).

There is a strong possibility chelsea are champions between the two matches right? So Mourinho could be benching Hazard Ivanovic Terry or other popular choices for the second match. That also changes the (c) choices!

    Thoughts?

Didn't think of this.. But even if they are champs I don't think his top players will get benched. Benched for what?

To rest them! It has been a long long year. Is there any reason for Hazard (Mr. 90 Minutes) or Terry( he's not 25 yo) to play away at Leicester? Why Mourinho not give Zouma some playing time? Guadrado also.

Hazard wont get rested, JT possibly

Hard to see that happening tbh. He has a duty still to play his strongest team.

Cant see why he would ever bench Hazard unless he was injured.

Mourinho is a proud man and will want to see the season out on a high and that means scoring as many points as possible.

With them out of the CL there is no need to bench his biggest stars imo.

There is point to this logic.

You'd fancy Luis to get a few more games, same for Zouma, and Cuadrado.

They are not in the FA Cup or in the Champions League and have only PL matches left to play...Why would Mourniho rest any of his players..doesn't make sense

Don't forget last summer was a WC year. Some players especially are very very tired. There is no harm if he gives some playing time to younger ones.

      It an unlikely scenario

Chelsea would have to win all three, plus Arsenal, MU, MC would all have to slip up twice.

Before yesterday, all the talk/thinking was the Liverpool double game week would definitely be game week 37 as it's too soon after the replay for 34.
Yesterday and today, complete reversal, 34.

    You scare mongering bunch 😀

I was the same but now considering he blanks the week after Im seriously tempted to do it with Chelsea's DGW coming up.

However, if Liverpool are confirmed as a DGW 34 then would it make sense to save the FT this week and do 3 next week for a -4, bringing in Remy (already have Haz and Ivan) and 2 x Liverpool players? (thinking Henderson and either Sturridge/Coutinho/Skrtel).
