    RMT

    Schmeichel/ Butland
    Azpi/ Kosc/ Bassong/ Francis/ O'Shea
    Hazard/ Ozil/ Mane/ Ritchie/ Wanyama
    Rooney/ Benteke/ Defoe
2.5 ITB Roo to Kun is the plan.

Just want to know if all the 4.5 defs nailed on and any suggestions on alternatives to mane in the price range of 7 to 8 mil?

    Thanks

Wasn't planning on rotating, not sure if there are any good options in place of Wanyama.

Maybe you shouldn't keep 2.5 ITB for 3 GW and invest it elsewhere, and then plan for you transfer

Of the top of my head, I'd say Ritchie > Depay
Or you could spread it and do Azpi > Ivan, Bassong > Fonte

Mind you, your team still looks quite strong even with those 2.5 ITB

Jonty et al can you please rate my defense?

    Azpi, Francis, O'Shea, Saylor, Yoshida.

I know there are doubts over up to three of these defenders, but can you suggest three 4.5 defenders that rotate well? thanks!

Wouldn't be too sure about Yoshida with Caulker in and Koeman on the look out for another CB.

For 3 rotating players you could try - Francis, Martin, Huth (I believe they rotate but you might want to check on that)

    Here goes :

    Schmeichel Ruddy
    Azpilicueta Mertesacker Huth Mings O'Shea
    Hazard Özil Henderson Chadli Ritchie
    Rooney Giroud Sakho

And here's a screenshot to picture it better : http://imgur.com/eU9cK95

It's important to note that I'm planning for the first 4 GW only, as I'm planning to WC during the first international break.

Basically the remaining question marks are around :
    - Giroud or Pelle (or even JRod if I'm feeling extra punty)
    - not so happy with Henderson/Chadli : should I downgrade Ritchie to Fletcher and turn one of them into Walcott/Caz/Depay/other?
    - given that I'm going to WC in GW 4, is it really essential to have a Chelsea defender?

      Giroud

I'd downgrade Ritchie if it was me - prefer to have bench fodder as 5th mid in 3-4-3

Maybe not from a points scoring perspective but if they do well they have high ownership and could still rise in price

        Thanks.

You make a good point about their ownership.

I'll see what I can do with a bench fodder. Shouldn't be too much of a problem if I'm planning for 4 GWK

Chadli is phenomenal value, I don't have the concrete stats to back that claim up (ask Doos!) but from a positional and tactical viewpoint he's immense value as a midfielder at 7.0. He's so hungry to attack whenever I watch him play; he's often in at CF, and plays like a left-forward in the classic sense. His points per 90mins and shots per game were both impressive last season if I recall, and that was with personal tragedy wrecking part of his year.

    RMT please!

    Fabianski/Schmeichel

    Cedric/Mertesacker/Clyne/Mings/Bassong

    Sterling/Hazard/Walcott/Wanyama/Bentaleb

    Costa/Rooney/C. Wilson

Not a fan of Bentaleb but don't see many better options? I'll probably stick with Wanyama for the long haul so not worried about devaluing when people drop him.

Gonna downgrade Haz to Fab and upgrade Walcott to Sanchez OR Rooney to Aguero. Good/bad plan?

I changed up my team , it sucks now but rate it and tell me what to do. Just starting to mess around with it after Costa left the game due to hamstring problems. I know its nothing serious yet but I wanted to make a team without him because hes injury prone and mourihno likes playing mind games.

    Myhill-Hennessey
    Bellerin-Huth-Azpil-Fracins-PVA
    Hazard-Cazorla-Walcott-Tadic-Anya
    Rooney-Pelle-Sakho

I jumped on the southampton bandwagon, not sure if I'm going to keep it.

        I have 0.5 ITB

        my mid choices are

        b) payet
        c) hendo
        d) chadli

I think Shaw will start the season and then it's his position to lose but it's worth noting we have Blind and Rojo who could play there too so it is a little risky.

Otherwise I like the look of that team, just be aware that Targett is likely to be a very short term pick.

The way I see it, both are risky picks.
Though I'd feel more confident with Ritchie, as he'll only discover PL, as Afellay will not only discover PL, he'll also have to get used to a new team

Not even 100% sure Affelay is nailed GW1, and very injury prone. If you do it, have a plan to reverse, or wait a week or to. Stokes first match is meh but then pretty good fixures for a while.

Thanks in advance, I have four questions:

    1. Can I afford not to have Aguero (have Hazard)
    2. Is 1 premium defender with x4 defenders at 4.5m (in pairs rotating) a good strategy, can you afford to have just 1 decent defender
    3. Can you recommend a 4.5m midfielder
    4. Defoe, Wilson, Deeney or another with 5.5m left

      1. Maybe - especially if he misses first game week.
      2. It's a strategy - whether it's good is yet to be seen 🙂

I'd be hopeful that people aren't expecting their 4.5m midfielder to do wonders but yeah it's a possibility. Good thing is you're probably not going to be wanting to make transfers on that slot anyway.

    Pretty satisfied with this.

    - Like my gks cheap as possible not fan of rotating gks

    - Defence is ugly but decent rotation imo. Should work well.

    - All good options imo. Will sacrifice one them for cheapo to fund Aguero move.

    - Rooney and Sakho are pretty much nailed just not sure about Pelle or Benteke

    Rudd / Ruddy

    Mertesacker / Jenkinson / O'Shea / Huth / Francis

    Hazard / Walcott / Sterling / Mane / Westwood

    Rooney / Sakho Benteke

A few questions for my team going into GW1:

    Pantilimon

    Ivanovic / Koscielny / Francis

    Mane / Ozil / Fabregas / Ritchie

    Rooney / Benteke / Sakho

Subs: McCarthy / Wanyama / Moore

2.5 in the back to transfer Rooney - Aguero after GW3

    ------------

Is the front line too weak?

Should I downgrade Ivanovic and Cresswell to save up for Wally/Hazard?

Is Cresswell too expensive for a rotating partner?

    Thanks :]

No, that's a good front line.

      In my opinion, yes.

Cresswell is too expensive to rotate. Great rotation with BOR, but would be better to have Jenkinson or one of the centre backs. Payet removes some of Cresswell's appeal for me regarding free kicks etc.

Azpilicueta is more nailed on than last year with Luis' sale. Changes to the bonus help him. Ivanovic is still the better bet for me, but not 1m better.

Ivan to Azpi, Cresswell to Jenks gives you an extra 1.5 to play with.

    Guys, RMT please 🙂

    GK: Schmechel 4.5, Ruddy 4.5

Opted for two 4.5 GKs rotation, not sure if it is best pair though.

    DEF: Azpi 6.0, Cedric 5.0, Francis 4.5, Huth 4.5, Targett 4.0

As cheap as it can be. I prefer to have these slots, or at least same budget for defense. Possible upgrading after downgrading my mids.

    MID: Hazard 11.5, Walcott 9.0, Ozil 8.5, Mane 8.0, Anya 4.5

I think not having Hazard is great risk, considering big ownership. Mane has good fixtures, and I want both Ozil and Walcott to begin with, because of good fixtures and their current form. I plan downgrading Ozil, Mane or Walcott to strenghten my defense and attack. Also, Walcott and Mane looks better than Silva and Henderson.

    FWD: Rooney 10.5, Benteke 8.5, Vardy 6.0

I think Rooney is the only prime forward at the moment, considering Aguero isn't fit, and Costa having problems again. Plan to downgrade my midfield to get Aguero for Rooney. Also, Benteke and Vardy, or Kane and Wilson/Deeney?

0.5 In the bank for catching potential GW1 bandwagon. I think this team has great flexibility, but I would like to listen to other opinions. 🙂

      1) I've got the same 4.5 GKs conundrum with Ruddy and Butland. Have a good feeling about Butland this year with Begovic gone

      2) I like it, just I wouldn't put Targett because he'll be gone after 3 weeks.

      3) Banging midfield that is! Only gripe is Anya who as a Watford supporter would be extremely surprised if he started more than a game this season.

      4) I would hold off Benteke until he proves he can score goals at his new club. I can see him Torresing with the different play styles. Agree on Rooney. I'd go for Callum Wilson for fixtures and the extra 0.5

Expecting a GW3-4 WC, hence the Targett and Ruddy.

    Ruddy - Rudd
    Darmian - Jenkinson - Huth - O'Shea - Targett

I'm pretty sure Darmian will start, so not concerned there, but what 4.5m mid would you recommend? Wanyama would mean 3 Saints. Also not happy with the keepers, hoping Hennessey moves or McCarthy looks 1st choice...

Change Wanyama to another 4.5, his high ownership and lots of early wildcards may cause him price to drop.

    RMT please:

    Schmeichel - Schwarzer

    Cedric - Jenkinson - O'Shea - Francis - Huth

    Hazard - Sterling - Ozil - Mane - Wanyama

    Rooney - Kane - Sakho

    Supporting logic:

    - Not having Hazard is playing with fire.

    - Early in the season Schmeichel looks good for a few clean sheets and, if not, save points.

    - Predicting which of Sterling, Ozil, Cazorla, Walcott, and Mane will play best is challenging, so I've included three of them instead of just two.

    - Clean sheets also are hard to predict (and I think harder to come by) early in the season, so I'm going for budget defenders who rotate well, likely will play 90, and can get some BAPS on occasion.

    - After three weeks, I will downgrade the worst performing of my aforementioned midfielders (to Ritchie or Mahrez or someone else who comes out of the wood works), and upgrade to Aguero.

    - As with the midfielders, I will allow Rooney and Kane to state their case with their results, and the least of the two will be upgraded to Aguero.

I like the Leicester alternative rotation and the alternative defence tactic. Though you are correct I still think its safer to at least one heavy hitter!

Unsure on starting with Sterling, I'd wait under he fires on cylinders first. Agree Mane and Walcott (providing he plays) will do well

And I may have to lift your Aguero entry strategy!

All depends on Hennessey. B perhaps.
