Just minutes after the final whistle blew on Gameweek 21, Jonty, Andy and myself braved the airwaves to pick the bones out of our meagre midweek tallies.

Brought back down to earth by a decidedly lacklustre floodlit affair, we rouse ourselves to debate the Aguero armband, the rapidly increasing speed of the Payet bandwagon and the theories behind the stuttering United backline.

We even make our dedication to the departed David Bowie, before quickly ushering out our disappointment of the Gameweek just past by previewing the one that lies ahead.

        If I had Butland and Schmeichel I'd play Schmeichel in GWs 22, 23 & 27.

            I own Wollscheid and Ward too, so most weeks I'm starting Butland & Ward and benching Hen & Woll, it's a bit pointless, and both defences have been performing poorly recently, I think I need to shake it up, Stoke and Palace have bad fixtures this weekend, I can bench Ward & Woll, so it makes sense to ditch one of the keepers and jump on the Leicester CS train.

          Ha! Yep, I knew that was coming. I haven't even logged in to FPL to check my terrible GW. VVD, Ramsey & Vardy to Williams, Alli & Kun was an 18pt turn-around against. Insult to injury -Huth as 2nd sub behind Francis who came in for Kolarov. Woeful!

          Just about sums up my FPL season to date. I need to cleanse the bad karma - WC imminent. Ha!

    Guys some common sense here.

    Is Silva a better player than Payet? Obviously yes. Test it this way, who will be your draft pick for the season?

    Are Silva's fixtures better? Yes, and may have DGW 25.

    Plays for a better attacking team? Yes.

    Higher chance of clean sheet bonus? Yes.

    So why are people shipping for Payet to catch a double rise? TV doesn't matter anymore - it's already GW22.

      Payet is a better pick for FPL and v good value for money. Silva is v good IRL.

      Payet is involved in everything West Ham do and he was as consistent as Ozil earlier this season in getting points, plus also a MUCH bigger goal threat than SIlva.

      SIlva has not been himself since the injury and having Payet instead allows for more money to use elsewhers

    I can see why dropping KDB looks attractive. He's never had a full EPl season under his belt before so with the lack of winter break and his huge amount of minutes played.. he is nearing the redzone of being fatigued.
