With many Fantasy managers now looking to wield Wildcards, we cast an eye over in-form and in-demand attackers and also assess some of the stand-out assets in defence ahead of Friday evening’s deadline.
Aguero might be out for the rest of the season, even if the injury is not serious, he should be out atleast for the weekend fixture.
A lot of it is driven by Jesus' price. Aguero to Jesus helps enable a transfer for Sanchez.

Identical to my set up at the moment, though I have Koscielny in place of Maguire.
Considering dropping one of Alli/Erik and Cech for Sané/Cab to allow upgrade Kos>Cahill and Yoshi>Vert...but don't know if I can lose a Spurs mid..too consistent!

Tried to upgrade Anichebe but couldnt find a way.

Am I correct in saying that you can no longer tell if your rivals have played their WC until the GW kicks off, whereas before you could see at the bottom of their page? Same for number of transfers made for that GW...?
You can see the number of transfers the person is making but if he's playing his WC, the number of transfers will appear as 0.
Okay, so in that instance you can't tell if they've activated their WC?
Yep! If the number of transfers is 0 and their team value keeps changing.
If you want to really geek out, check it periodically and you can see if there are changes to the TV/ITB while the transfers remain at 0...
Now that would be sneaky. Very useful. But sneaky!
My rival very kindly made his 3 transfers separately over the course of Friday / Sat morning on GW34 - was so easy to work out each move...screen grab is your friend 🙂
You can check his transfer history, it has info what chip he has been used & when
Will Robles play this week or should I transfer him out for a -8 hit? Will be doing bench boost this week so need to think about that as well.

Play Gabbi and Alonso, bench Stephens. I am in a very simmilar situation, and benched Steph. He is in my team for gw37, and for 36 I have Yoshida playing, IMO thats enough. Not worth playing Steph if u bench the likes of Alonso.
Also, King will punish u for benching him. 😉

Statistically he's a delight and an explosion waiting to happen. Always.
But with Gabbi's form and threat of minutes from Austin, Long, Rodriguez, is he the best option?

A very frustrating asset to own, have had him a couple of times this season, I kept waiting but he never explodes.
I had him over a 6 week period where he got me 1 assist and a loss of 0.5, such a pain
Just JWP and save some £££ and heartache.

And if I do that that means Tadic and Anichibe turns into JWP and origi...

A risky move, you can play your TC next week of you aren't bench boosting. If you play BB next week, I'm looking at TC one of the Spuds guys or Hazard for the last gameweek.
I've been considering that but GW38 is likely to be a dead rubber for Chelsea and Spurs.

My guess is that, given the way fixtures have worked out, he will be the most TC'd player this season (i.e. Man City too early; Zlat injured before United's double etc.)

Has the be JWP with this lot. Don't be seduced by the (tough) DGW.
Normally people would bench JWP, but I'd personally bench Gabbidiani, really doubtful about his minutes on the pitch.
This is a good option too.
It is hard as I have Stephens, JWP and Gabbi and actually thinking about it, DGW probably means very little. Hard fixtures!
Monreal (Or Gabriel) in for Bailly + Jesus in for Aguero for a -8 looking like the best bet this GW then?

Hey man, yep, could do, main issue is a) fitness and b) if I do Kosc I can't bring a chelsea def in (unless Ake is playing!) in 37. So Monreal is my man I think, means I can get Azpi at least.
Can you do Barragan to Vertonghen? Spurs most likely to keep CS, also sets you up well for next week.

Morrison has Chelsea home and Man City away.
Carroll has Sunderland away.
Morrison actually scored a brace in the Chelsea fixture last year, so currently on him as he's DGW and more of a threat with 5 goals this season. Also back up for pens and on some set pieces. His this the right call? It's DGW lottery after all, got to be in it to win it,
West Bromwich is on a holiday, Swansea are fighting for survival. Most importantly, Tom Carroll is the cheapest FPL midfielder. That little £ can help you elsewhere during this crucial stage.

It's actually not as good as many on here, around 105 mil... Eriksen > Pedro saves 2 mil so I'm able to have Alonso + Kosc instead of Azpi + Gabriel...

7 years, 1 month agoGuys am I missing something? Aguero has been on fire and from the sounds of things he only took a bit of a knock and should be fit for the weekend. Everyone seems to have Jesus in their teams; is he actually guaranteed to play? Seems a bit of a gamble when there's so many other good options....
