FFS Cup

FFS Cups – Results and Quarter-Final Draws

We take some time this evening to find out who has made it through to the quarter-finals of our two Premier League cup competitions.

Topping the bill among the last eight ties is a Live Hall of Fame top ten derby between Mark, whose rank of 297 makes him the highest-placed remaining manager, and the 423-ranked My Pretty Pony (aka Peter Kouewenberg). While Mark has the rank advantage, Peter’s second placing in the Live Hall of Fame, compared to Mark’s sixth spot, could see him prevail.

Choppers13, who conquered Patio Kev in round five, takes on Team Fosu-Mensah, who is at 3,474 – 2,506 places behind his top 1,000-ranked opponent.

The third quarter-final looks likely to be another close affair, with Sleepysi ranked just 960 behind 1,192-placed Fouad Khan.

Given the current rank of the other six managers through, both 364,588-placed K3lviN and 229,821-ranked The Shaman will be breating a sigh of relief as they face each other in a clash of the competition’s lowest-ranked remaining managers by some distance.

The full quarter-finals draw can be found here.

Choppers13 is the Members cup’s highest ranked-manager – and the only one still in both competitions. He has, on the face of it, a far easier tie in the Members cup, when he takes on 132,642-ranked Barwood.

The giant-killing exploits of 46,996-placed rogerbarton have taken him into the quarter-finals. Fresh from seeing off an 88th-ranked Pukka in round four, Roger defeated 20,109-placed Dr Ennet in the final 16 to set up an encounter with aspern, another higher- ranked manager, who sits in 12,763,

Cheltnamshire lalala, who currently sits at 3,056 and defeated community writer Kryten in the last 16, will square up to 59,241-ranked Malaikat Jahad.

Elsewhere, 13,579-placed Dynamic is the favourite in his quarter-final tie with Thecrystalball, who is the contest’s lowest-ranked manager at 171,998.

The full quarter final round draw can be found here.

There is £350 in Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk vouchers up for grabs for the final top three managers in both tournaments.

Good luck to all those involved and if you would like more information on the schedule and prizes, click this link.

No I would be 0.1m short. Plus those Leicester dgw fixtures are pretty nasty, albeit sandwiched by decent ones

Yeah, it's more for the decent ones and a goal threat. Gabriel would be good if he was guaranteed to start but I think that there is real doubt.

Huth could be a good pick. There's a lot of rumour floating about the Spurs camp, Poch had fallen out with Walker who''s looking leave (who knows if there's truth in it, anyway still see the FBs being rotated), Rose may return very soon, etc.

Ok Coutinho is dropping tonight it seems. Have money itb for Sanchez. Suppose il have to bring him in to be safe in my ML and for my OR OF 209K?

The question is to I TC him or just bench boost with Pickford,Daniels,Sane,Holgate??

Or have Sanchez but TC Kane,Sane ,Jesus,Hazard this wk instead??

It's doing my head in tbf

It's a decent bench boost tbh, and only two of them have doubles next week. It's a tough one, but that and a Hazard or Kane TC next week is tempting.

I'd want Sanchez either way though

Looking at the fixtures this morning a City attacker really is a priority for 37/38. I've a similar dilemma, will need to get rid of one of my Spurs attackers to make way for Jesus!

Can FFFix price predictor ever be trusted? Seems to often be all over the place, e.g.: FPL Stats has Townsend on 74. Fix has him on 145!

FPLStats probably a bit better with predicting but both are quite off with the dgw players and wildcards being played.

cant imagine utd completely giving up on top 4.... I guess it depends how the Thursday night match goes in that if united hockey celta then the tie is effectively done and utd can play a strong team v Arsenal.....

switched it between Hazard & Sanchez a few times, it's back on Sanchez now this morning and it'll prob stay there out of fear of a premium dgw player exploding (as unlikely as that is to happen)!

    1. Heels_Over_Head

adapting to new info of transfers in/out hourly

it can't adapt real time constantly

they also have to have something in the algorithm estimating WCs played as WC transfers do *not* count toward price rises/falls but *do* appear on the in/out transfers count

    Coutinho to Sanchez done.
Fear got the better of me. Whether il TC him is another matter altogether.

Benching Pickford,Daniels,Sane and Holgate this wk and not playing BB could be painful as is not having Sanchez when he scores 4 again.

Darmian is not a confirm starter with Bailey, Jones and Smalling back in training. Mou prefers young in LB instead of darmian.

      Pick and Monreal.

Darmian is a rotation risk, esp with the recent news, and United have poor fixtures.
