Distracted and torn by domestic duties, my appearance on this latest ScoutCast episode is limited to a 30-minute introduction, followed by closing cameo.

That’s just enough time to join Jonty, Andy and Az in revisiting the Gameweek 31 scenario and chip strategies that dominate your community questions.

While I’m away, the boys also consider the Gameweek 31 traps to decide whether we’re in danger of being distracted by the mediocrity on offer. The fate of premium-priced defenders is also discussed before they preview Gameweek 28, as I crash back in to make my late contribution.

                My best pointswise was last week with 84 but was only ranked 857,320. My best GW wise was GW4 with 65 when I was ranked 243,634

                Not a single gw but right after one another. Gw’s 15 (75) 68k and 16 (76) 40k. Jumped a million places in those 2 weeks and kick started my season. Otamendi and Silva scored 20 points between them each game whilst low owned and every other City player blanked. They even did it the next week too. Best period I’ve had in FPL. Loved it.

                  Got a 95 pointer in GW 19 (GWR 104k) and 107 in GW 20 (GWR 35k) and went up 600k places but that's about as good as it gets for me

                A lot of VVD v Robertson on here! It totally depends on what you can do with the extra cash.
                In my case getting the cheaper Rob allowed me to do Shaqiri to Mahrez. I will be using FH in 31 so might get big Virg in for that GW, but I have a feeling that he will be a derailed bandwagon soon enough!

                  Some better looking options available in midfield now with fixture shift (eg. Mahrez, Eriksen), title wrapped up, rotation imminent. Could bite managers badly, I got rid of KDB...even worse 😉
