Dugout Discussion – Chelsea vs West Ham

After Arsenal edged past Southampton at the Emirates, the curtain comes down on Gameweek 33 as Chelsea welcome West Ham United to Stamford Bridge.

At home to a defence that’s conceded 11 goals in their last three road trips, Antonio Conte’s side could emerge as big armband differentials this afternoon.

Alvaro Morata and Eden Hazard are among the top 11 captains for GW33, yet both have been handed the armband by less than 2% of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) matches.

Meanwhile, the in-demand Willian is named on the teamsheet for the fifth successive Gameweek. The most bought midfielder (178,000+) for Gameweek 33, the Brazilian has served up four goals and three assists in his last seven league starts.

At the back, however, Andreas Christensen’s run of five straight starts comes to an end ahead of Double Gameweek 34 as Gary Cahill replaces the young Dane on the teamsheet.

For the visitors, Marko Arnautovic leads the line again on the back of his two-goal haul against Southampton last week.

The Austrian has form against Conte’s side, having netted the winner in a 1-0 victory over Chelsea back in Gameweek 16.

          Thanks. Was extremely lucky tbf, but yeah. Eriksen delivered in both gws. Last week Schmeichel and Chilwell were the heroes, this week I got goals from both King and Austin as 2nd half subs, plus Alexis yesterday and Cedric of the bench with two more assists. Jammy

          Anybody getting rid of Gross even though he has a DGW?
          Sure, he's been unlucky in these past 2 GWs but those were home games against Huddersfield and Leicester - Brighton and Gross tend to do badly in away games so I don't expect him to do much vs Palace (A) and Spurs could easily keep a clean sheet at home to Brighton.

          Thinking of upgrading him to Arnie despite Arnie not having a DGW, just a much more threatening player.

              5 weeks left, 2 are doubles that he's not involved with which should help mitigate some explosions, you can free hit him in for 35. Also with Liverpool looking unlikely to finish anywhere but 3rd and having the champions league to contend with, he may not play that much. Week 38 he might stick out the kids. OK as a Salah seller I'm probably more justifying to myself than anyone else

              TC Sanchez. I can't get more than 8 DGWs sensibly and should be able to get more in 37. I really think it's a bit of a coin toss to be honest if you have ways to get a lot of DGW players in both.
