He got MOM award against Southampton. Not FPL wise, but he will deliver sooner, rather than later. Great fixtures ahead.

He has impressed but is not of fantasy value if he does not get get set pieces.

I don't understand the 'catch price rise','avoid price drop' thinking after just two weeks.

Its because of the high amount of points in these first few GWs. A lot of people panicking they'll get left behind.

I really don't care about it. If you pick the right players, you will get price rises automatically.

Also, if I get like 5 rises and 1 drop, I don't care at all. You can't win them all. I have a TV of 100.8 despite keeping King.

It's pretty much the usual price panic at this part of the season, and it will slow down as peeps realise they can't duck all the price drops and ride every bandwagon.

Ive been playing 3-5-2 some the start and can't see that changing. Just so much value in the midfield. More ways for mids to score points along with newer tactics being employed I don't see a downside. Have a non playing 4.5 forward currently to squeeze as much value into the team as possible.

Good, if all 7 mid+fwd play. If sub has to be involved, this backfires.

We were spoiled in the past by having very cheap strikers (eg Kane and Austin) who were also scoring regularly, and even mid-priced forwards (such as Benteke at Villa) were delivering hauls. I got burned going with cheapo strikers in a 3-5-2 or 4-5-1 last year and one of the key problems was lack of flexibility.

The point has also been made many times on these pages that a £4.5M striker will always be the 3rd player on the bench, whereas that money can deliver some returns in midfield and defence. I will be interested in Danny Ings if he gets regular playing time, but for now I am happy to pay a little more for my 2nd and 3rd strikers.
