    This blister talk on Ings is absolutely ridiculous. What a wimp. If anyone has played football in very hot weather, you'll probably have had a heat blister on the ball of your foot after. First day hurts of course, it's raw skin. But after that it's fine. Vaseline it up and off you go. No problem. Footballers these days.

        This. Professional footballers and premier league medical departments clearly knows the difference between a heat blister and something more complicated and/or infected. He should get on with it and donate this month's salary to a blister support charity.

        I had a massive blood filled blister under the ball of my foot once it was really bad and I could hardly walk on it. From poor fitting shoes playing 5 aside. Had to sit out the game the next week as couldn’t walk on it properly for a week.
