I can’t see Walcott doing anything against Arsenal. He’s not that good a player against average teams, let alone ones that will make him work. I do fancy Wolves to get something from the Utd game, but it’s a long shot. Tomkins carries the clean sheet and goal potential, so the odds would point me in his direction.
-Aguero: The most important factor is that he played a minor part in the CL game so he should be nailed enough to start. City's got to bounce back and with some worry in the camp, it calls for a good performance from Sergio. He's currently not in the best of form, but when he explodes can be the most dangerous player in all of FPL.
-Salah: Not in the best of form, but great underlying stats. Slight worry of being benched or coming off early because Shaqiri has got to get some game time in this one. He is due a haul and could be in this one, but I consider him to be the riskiest captain pick. A home game is a point in his favour too.
-Hazard: Definitely the most nailed on out of the bunch. That alone can be a factor to captain him with form and uncertainty around the other two. Excellent form alone can be a factor and with Giroud's excellent record against WHU, Hazard could explode again. WHU have gathered solidarity at the back again and could force a tough game so it's a really difficult decision.
I am currently on Aguero captain but this has by far been my most difficult captaincy decision by far. Still undecided!
Also on Kun atm, but thinking Hazard is the safest captain option from the three. He should be good for a goal in a high scoring game, and one goal for Haz usually means double digits also
Didn't see home vs away, but I've seen all matches. Aguero away to Wolves came very close to scoring, hit the post twice in a tight game, so I don't need to look at the stats for that game at least.
I know Salah has the best underlying stats of any player so far, but a much higher xG than the actual number of goals scored suggests below-average finishing. Which has been quite evident from the eye test. He's not all bad though, clearly he's getting into the right positions, but just not clinical. His CL performance this week was one of his worst performances since joining Liverpool.
If CHE were playing WHU at home I'd give Haz the (c) no doubt, but I think you are correct that WHU may prove a tougher team than their start to the campaign.
Salah is the real threat this week, at home and surely scores a brace, I dumped on my wildcard and now will be a bit nervous with just Mane.
In your case having all 3, i think you should trust the home squad here and go Salah (c)
I dont have Hazard in my WC. I have Preferred Salah over him. Can see Pool smashing Chelsea next GW and this week away to Hammers wont be easy. Can do Salah> Haz later if at all.
Any Aubameyang captainers out there? Scored 2 goals in Europa. This GW facing a depleted Everton defence that ships a lot of goals in. Surely he will score at least 2 goals right?
Moura is their best player along with Toby so far. Nobody knows how they all fit. Including Poch I'm guessing. I did consider getting him instead of Maddy I must admit just because of the explosive differential factor.
would take a punt if I had someone I wanted to get rid of in midfield. Salah > Spurs mid could be my move if Salah doesn't deliver today. Imo Brighton away is a typical 'Son game'
Who scores more points over the next 3 GWs? A- Madison B- richarlison C- Lucas D- Pogba E- any other mid upto 9.4 mn Can't get a city mid, coz already got 3 city Thanks!
I'm in the minority, but I personally believe that in a couple of weeks, people are going to be clambering for 2 x premium strikers. I do think yours reflects the balance people like at the moment though.
Think I'd be tempted by a cheaper mid for Maddison to rotate with one of your strikers with some spare cash.
My team is: Patricio/Foster Mendy, Alonso, Robertson, (Holebas, Wan-Biss); Salah, Hazard, Maddison, Neves, (Billing); Aguero, Mitrovic, Wilson.
If Mendy hadn't been injured I wouldn't have thought of this. But thinking Holebas & Wan-Biss have more value than just sitting on bench. Maybe idea to swap Mendy down to a 5/4.5 as a 3rd rotator to get some use out of the other two? Thinking Pereira or Doherty. The 1.2 - 1.8 I'd save could go on upgrading my 4th mid Neves. Or just swap Mendy for Trippier?
