Does drop in Kane’s numbers affect FPL credentials for Gameweek 8?

Harry Kane (£12.5m) is already the runaway leader of our Gameweek 8 captain poll, but do those currently not in possession of the Spurs forward need to sign him?

That is the big question on the minds of many Fantasy Premier League managers this week, especially with Liverpool and Manchester City options potentially cancelling each other out.

We’ve gone over some of Kane’s numbers from the first seven Gameweeks and compared them with how he was faring 12 months ago, to see if it’s worth selling the likes of Sergio Aguero (£11.4m) or Mohamed Salah (£13.0m) to get him in.

    Commentary going to town on how bad United are but I don’t think they’ve been that bad.
    Players are working hard, pressing, working to get the ball back, playing for the manager.
    No easy games in the CL.

            I think it’s worsened by the football being played by City and Liverpool.
            United are more about control, rather than all out attack.
            It’s not been an inspired display tonight, but united have generally been on top, attacking players given freedom but not performed.

        Don’t see why Jose is at fault.

    Seems strange to blame Sanchez's form on Mourinho. He was consistently one of our worst players for 18 months before joining United.

    Seems a Torres to Chelsea type situation. People forget Torres took a massive downturn before joining Chelsea as well.

        Hasn't played on the last line since Barca. Can't understand it. He was so good with less ball, and more off the ball movement.

        Needs micromanaging with positional discipline imo. Gets frustrated and plays too deep.
