Raheem Sterling’s 21-point haul against Southampton in Gameweek 11 has caused a disturbance in the Fantasy Premier League force.

        Highest points in a particular month. Get 7-11 took place in October. So, the player with highest point in those gws is MOTM for October.

    Why is this debate so reactive?

    Sterling has visibly been an option as good as Aguero from GW1 if you actually watched the games. Yet for some reason he was always overlooked and left out of the Captain Poll even over the likes of Jesus! Now that he’s hauled a 20 pointer, he’s being looked at.

      I was wondering why he was never being mentioned, I had him since he scored that goal for England a few weeks ago. He looks like he is a better player than last year when he was really good. He will most likely beat last years points total. It was the same with Hazard I think, was not being mentioned as a good option, mostly called a troll, gets 20 Points and becomes essential.

        Plan is to rotate Richarlison, Diangana, Doherty & Fernandez for two spots depending on fixtures every week.

        Robertson Alonso Mendy Doherty Fernandez is my defense.
        Can't stretch to Success without downgrading but somehow I don't think it's worth it as it feels like he will lose his spot soon.

    UCL tips:

    Kovac said that James Rodriguez has a calf injury and is doubtful for the game. While the coach said that they would wait until the final training session to decide if he can play, he most likely won’t, given Kovac’s record for caution. That means that Thomas Muller is almost guaranteed to start, after being left on the bench in Bayern’s last UCL game.

      I'm struggling to fit everything in. I'd like two Arsenal (Laca & Ozil preferrably), I'd like Kane & Trippier, Hazard, Kun, Sterling, not fussed on Liverpool but I'd like to be able to draft them in easily.

      Then I'd also like some Man Utd for their fixtures, possibly Martial or Pogba.

      Might have to get rid of RAM - at least it'll be a template buster if it works!

    It's definitely very possible to get Sterling Aguero Hazard and Mané into one team without it impacting elsewhere too much. The real trouble for many on here is clinging on to Salah, which makes it pretty unviable

      I am becoming much less attached to Salah given Liverpool don't look anything like the attacking force they were last season. This weekend might change that, though.

        Salah is still getting plenty of chances, but he isn't putting them away. It's one of those things that could suddenly turn at any point, or could continue for ages. Really tricky for owners to make a decision, but for non-owners it's becoming easier and easier to avoid, especially with Liverpool looking a little disjointed

          Got both myself and even if you were to pick the wrong one for captain from time to time wouldn't matter too much. City score so many goals. Saw a good stat yesterday on sky sports news

          Since 2013 Man City has scored 5 or more goals in a match 21 times, next best is pool with 12 times.

    I'd probably do Sterling to Mane this week if you don't have value tied up in him. Sterling hasn't got a great history in the big games and this fixture for liverpool doesn't get any better for their attackers. You could always swap back in a week or 2

I basically wrote the same article 4-5 weeks back in a post, and I was hardly breaking new ground with 5% ownership, and low largely only account only of the Kun ownership. Struggling a bit with the pandering to the masses atm. Not learning anything

      The analysis is quite shallow.

      There is so much more to think about than should I own Aguero or Sterling?

      How do they stack up against Salah and Hazard for example? Could you feasibly have both Sterling and Aguero if they're both better than Haz or Salah or Mane?

      How do they stack up in terms of results against harder opponents? Sterling has better away stats and better stats against tougher competition. Both of those things are important given they have both more away games and harder games coming up.

    Ings underlying stats are crazy good, god-like for his price and amazing at any price. Anybody tempted to own him when they face Cardiff, Fulham and Newcastle? Some tough games in between but AWB can actually help cover, or he can get a cheek pen against even the toughest competition.

      Maybe if they get a new manager, but the play Saints are playing, I'm not interested.
      I have Aguero, with Arnie and Wilson, no need to move either of them on.
