With scores all in the thirties, Gameweek 13 was one to forget for the Scoutcast crew.

After forcing themselves to relive this dire set of points, Az, David, Luke and Joe dust themselves off and look ahead to better times.

Manchester City’s wealth of midfield options come under particular scrutiny during the community questions segment. A total of 44 points from David Silva, Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling against West Ham last weekend makes this is a group of players that demand attention.

Tottenham’s emerging assets in the centre of the park have also caught the community’s collective eye.

Son Heung-min, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen all impressed in the north London side’s victory over Chelsea at the weekend. However, the Scoutcast crew are more interested in their premium-priced teammate Harry Kane to help them take advantage of Spurs’ kind set of festive fixtures.

Elsewhere, David reveals some notable team frailties and the players who are set to exploit them over December. Gylfi Sigurdsson is looking such a strong option in this regard that Joe wishes there could be two of the Everton set-piece specialist to draft into his squad.

Differentials, clean sheets, captaincy and transfer plans are also discussed. With the festive fixture list stepping up a gear, this covers both Gameweeks 14 and 15 as both take place during a frantic six-day block of Premier League matches starting this Friday.

      Sarri was referring to the Thursday match. Hazard could play Thursday if necessary, but it's not necessary, so Sarri will REST him by keeping him out of the squad tomorrow, and then he's ok for Fulham

                  I agree re EVE fixture and scoreline in fact.

                  I also agree there will be rotation or at least limited minutes used to preserve energy for Napoli. However Klopp is not one to field a weak side to rest players for big games. Often he utilises minute limitation instead

            A lot easier is just wrong. Only 1-0 one goal defeat will knock them out. Any other one goal defeat will see them qualify. They drew in Paris and could have won. They won't fear Liverpool the way they're playing either

            Liverpool can still go through with a good performance at home vs Napoli

            Even if we don’t, we’ll then have Thursday night football which by no means necessarily means Klopp suddenly stops caring about playing key assets in the league and trying to win

          But he hasn't improved his output after moving to Liverpool, he was a better asset at Southampton (cost 6.5 I think)

          He's been at the same level for four seasons (Considerong fpl output).

            He's at his best when he's fired up. Before the pen incident, he was disposed and felt he was fouled so then chased the ball down and won it high up the pitch.

          This Hazardgate is doing my head in. He’s injured, he’s not injured. He’s rested, he’s not rested. Coupled with complete uncertainty re who Pep will play at the weekend it’s a massive head/ ball-ache

          If Sarri isn’t playing him tomorrow and is effectively confirming he isn’t 100% then why would he risk him vs FUL, a game they could win either without Haz completely or with him in the wings for a cameo if needed

              I’m not sure the derby thing is much of a factor, besides geographic location there isn’t much of a derby about CHE v FUL

              But I agree Sarri will want to prove they are still a top team and back to winning ways and the team obviously misses its heart when Haz doesn’t play

                  Meaning it is a derby in the sense that both teams are from the general area of Chelsea in London but in terms of rivalry/ juicy contest I’m not sure

              Known = FPL pts form is crap, not at his best in fitness terms, has/had ankle injury, Fulham game coming up.
              Maybe = recovery in terms of fitness/injury, start and returns vs Fulham.

                As each day goes by this week I get closer to wanting to ditch him. The issue now is the uncertainty re starters out of the city mids. Is Sterling a cert? I’m not sure
