          Doesn't mean he'll come on. After last time, Pep will be very patient with him.

          He will only come on if the game is won and City are dominating. If Everton are anything close to matching City in the middle of the park, KDB won't be thrown into the fire and risk another injury. Plus, he's nowhere near match fit to handle a competitive PL game.

      I actually think this site might be partly to blame! It’s becoming an echo chamber for template teams. Instead of form / fixtures being the deciding factor, popularity on here as a choice is now causing people to think players are essential, sometimes beforehand they have even done anything.

        In my opinion each one here is providing the others with his own analysis, opinions and suggestions.

        GW after GW, many of us are right and many of us are wrong. It is just part of the game.

        Each one should use the tools provided here (both the ones which are member exclusive and this comments section as well) to form its own opinion and take own decisions

          I agree totally. But my point was more that in the past, people had far less information about players and slowly developed strategies and squads based on learning the game. Now you have access to seasoned players’ advice, statistical analysis and data etc to help you, plus a ton of comments to read through that also provide input. So for a novice, with little confidence in your own strategy as new to the game, the temptation to make changes constantly based on, seemingly, strong advice must be high. It takes a few seasons before you realise the dangers of knee jerking and learn to hold firm with your choices.

    Been thinking that the racism stuff could have played a part in Sterling being benched. To drop him would be negative but to keep him on the bench helps shield him till things die down.

      Just Sane, opt for Salah and Hazard instead of Sterling and have Kun up top. KDB also an option instead of Sterling and save 2m
