Hazard remains a false-nine as Aubameyang and Lacazette start together

Eden Hazard (£11.1m) continues to operate in the false-nine position for Chelsea as they prepare to face Arsenal this evening.

With the Blues thought to be close to signing a new centre-forward, this could be his last Premier League appearance in the role for some time.

He is flanked by Pedro (£6.3m) and Willian (£7.2m), supported by the usual midfield trio of N’Golo Kanté (£5.0m), Matteo Kovacic (£5.7m) and Jorginho (£4.7m).

Meanwhile, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£11.3m) and Alexandre Lacazette (£9.3m) start up front for Arsenal while Aaron Ramsey (£7.2m) supports them from midfield, in spite of recent rumours of his impending departure.

Lucas Torreira (£4.9m) returns to central midfield as Hector Bellerin (£5.4m) makes his first start since Gameweek 17.

Arsenal XI: Leno, Bellerin, Sokratis, Koscielny, Kolasinac, Torreira, Xhaka, Ramsey, Guendouzi, Aubameyang, Lacazette.

Chelsea XI: Kepa, Alonso, Rudiger, Luiz, Azpilicueta, Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic, Willian, Pedro, Hazard.

I hate 'English' Premier League games like this. Not a single English player on the pitch, on either side.

Nothing to do with Brexit. But I want the England national team to do well, and players are just not getting any game time.

But warnock said it will be good in every sense. Especially football. Didn’t hear any reasoning behind what he said but he seems trustworthy

      1. Marvin of all he surveys

Exactly. The league is the best in the world because players from all over the world play in it.

Still needs balance, i.e. a minimum number of home qualified (not 'homegrown') players, plus the best players from around the world. We have a lot of mediocre overseas players just taking the PL money.

A fair view I suppose. Personally I wouldn't care if international football was scrapped. It does nothing for me. That's just how I see it though.
