FPL Think Tank – Double Gameweek 32

We are bringing back Fantasy Premier League ‘Think Tank’ in time for the Double Gameweeks ahead.

With Gameweek 32 chocked full of additional fixtures, which can be found here, Fantasy managers have plenty of questions.

In order to get a idea of the Fantasy Football Scout consensus on these issues, you can create your own poll and customise what answers are available.

Later in the week we will pick our favourite ones and publish them in an article for you all to vote in.

      Nice team. However Deu will almost certainly only play one match. Also I'm considering captaining Haz due to a similar issue with Sterling and kun.

      Laporte hasn't really been playing... maybe Ederson/Luiz would be better than Kepa/Laporte other than that it's great

          yeah, he played in CL and cup...was injured but returned fit quicker than expected. didn't play in the last 3 PL matches, which can be deceiving when picking your players.

          Not in the league but I guess he did in the cup games, just not sure if he is as nailed as he was, unless there was an injury I missed that kept him out of the league games

      I was originally in the 32FH, 34WC, 35BB, TC in a single game week camp. However I’m starting to strongly consider doing the 32WC with 10-11 DGW players, be able to select a new team with 33 FH, then have 2 free transfers

        (Reply fail) to deal with issues that spring up in 34 & 35, and then still have 13-14 DGW players got 35 BB.

        The only downside is that a lot can happen between now and 35. However that is true for slot of GWs.

        Would be nice to have a HT on this option.

          Aware of the injury possibility, but we do have free transfers for that. I like this strategy as you can use TC for a dgw.

            Then the question is what team you WC.
            My base is Ederson, Duffy, AWB, Valery, Sterling, Hazard, Pogba, Aguero and Jimenez.

            I have one draft wc that has a cheaper defense with Boruc, Doherty, Schlupp plus Kane and Deulofeu. This has 11 DGW for 32, 11 DGW for 35 (plus 2 FTs, so maybe 13 DGWs)

            The second draft has Foster, Young, Azpilicueta, plus Rashford and Milivojevic. This has 11 DGW for 32, 11 DGW for 35 (plus 2 FTs, so maybe 13 DGWs) and money to upgrade Hazard in 35 to Salah for the run in.

            What do you think?

      I was saying in preseason I would have lied to have seen Arsenal go for him or, less likely, Martial who wasn't exactly settled at United. It's a bit less of an issue now that Iwobi has stepped up in form (although you wouldn't know it given fans' attitude towards Iwobi), but maybe there's room for him if Iwobi and/or others are sold. I like Zaha, and Batsuayi, for that matter, also.

    Aware that double Chelsea defence is risky on A, but the alternative would be Foster/Guaita in goal for save points. Thinking Foster could save a penalty too for some cover as everyone will have Pogba.

    Quite happy to go Kaneless, as otherwise it unbalances the team too much. I think Son/Alli provides enough cover, and think the CRY game will be tight anyway. An alternative would be to go with Dilva/Bilva, but this seems too risky. Downgrading the 4th Mid to Deu (FA Cup) or Mili hasn't enough value for me either.

    Amazed at how people's favour has shifted from Rashford to Lukaku. Lukaku has had a good couple of games yes, but Rash had a prolonged spell of being in-form, and for 3.2m less...no brainer!
