Fantasy Premier League managers might want to exercise caution over West Ham assets at the start of 2019/20.

The Hammer start with a tough opening weekend fixture against Manchester City, but it is hard to guarantee Fantasy potential even in the more appealing matches that follow.

Looking at last season’s data, there is a possibility that their new-look attack could take some time to gel.

Meanwhile, the Hammers defence was questionable in 2018/19.

We’ve taken a look at all areas of Manuel Pellegrini’s team last season to see where Fantasy manager can find value in 2019/20.

    First I had Ryan for a long time. Then got Pope after Heaton was sold. Just few days ago switched to Heaton as Pope's fixtures are horrible. Now thinking I might go back to Ryan. Henderson is the only option I've not had in my drafts.

    Let me preface by saying I like this team and I like my own bravery for finally taking a risk and not hedging a lot (of course, when I'm WCing in two weeks, I'll come to regret everything, but c'est la vie). That said, the only thing I don't like is Hayden as my 4th mid. Given Camarasa's very friendly price, I'm tempted to get him instead. Question is, how?

    The forwards are not negotiable as in them lies the bravery 😀 As for the rest...

    One obvious option is to wait until lineups are announced tomorrow and swap VvD to Matip/Gomez, then upgrade one of Rico/Lundstram (which one?) to a 4.5 and Hayden to Camarasa.

    The other is to simply go Perez >> Barkley, but that leaves me with a crap fixture for Chelsea.

    Any thoughts appreciated.

      Like this! Wouldn't do VvD to Matip/Gomez. I would just go with Hayden and Donk as mids to get subbed on. Otherwise, if you are without Sterling you might aswell just get Bilva instead of KdB...

        Coleman to Digne is one I’ve considered, but few Coleman is starting for now. I feel at this point there aren’t many 5.5 defenders out there for the first 4-5 GW’s.
