Fantasy Premier League managers might want to exercise caution over West Ham assets at the start of 2019/20.

The Hammer start with a tough opening weekend fixture against Manchester City, but it is hard to guarantee Fantasy potential even in the more appealing matches that follow.

Looking at last season’s data, there is a possibility that their new-look attack could take some time to gel.

Meanwhile, the Hammers defence was questionable in 2018/19.

We’ve taken a look at all areas of Manuel Pellegrini’s team last season to see where Fantasy manager can find value in 2019/20.

    After week 1 they're going to pop, and there's going to be excellent value to be found once rotation calms down.

    Haller at 7.5
    Felipe at 7
    Yarmolenko/Lanzini at 6/6.5 once that wing is settled
    Noble at 5 taking pelanties.

      In my team.Martial and Rashford will alternate LW and CF,thats what they been doing pre season.Its James or Greenwood on the right imo.

    Seems like everyone is selling Zinchenko now.

    First 3 fixtures (whu, TOT, bou) don't look like certain clean sheets for City.
    By the time GW4/5 comes around who knows he might not be even starting.

    Ive opted for Trossard instead and changed formation from 442 to 352.

    Thoughts?

            Yes it certainly is but im guessing you have VVD or Coleman instead of one of the Pool fullbacks or Digne.
            Im not ready to sell one of them to get a stronger bench.

            Id look at the gameweeks you need to start the defender and the decide.

            Dunk, Diop, Kiko would be my top picks.

      Should be good for a few weeks, at least till Bellerin is back, although I presume Chambers is also in the mix. Do you really want to spend 5.0 on an Arsenal defender tho, when they have one good home fixture in the opening five?

        Yes obviously a good point, I’m looking for a 3rd defender to go along side Robertson and Digne.
        I have 6M to spend but don’t really want to spend it all. Even considering a 4.5 rotation for 3 rd spot have Montoya on the bench already.

    Had my worst season last year and gave up before Xmas. Hoping to do better this season.

    Might swap Zouma for another 4.5m def but who? Already have Burnley, Brighton, Watford, Sheff United. Can't expect much from that lot. The extra 0.5 would get me Maddison rather than Perez (on pens/set pieces)

    Kane vs Auba? Presently on Auba but have a feeling that Kane will start well.

    Any suggested changes?

      Team looks good, nice structure too. I'm a bit down on Watford, especially defensively, and I'd opt for Montoya over Dunk at Brighton, but both could do well. Midfielders and forwards look strong. I'd go Aubameyang over Kane for the first couple of weeks at least. Good luck!
