Tight calf for absent Aubameyang as Everton host Arsenal

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£11.4m) is absent for Arsenal as they travel to Everton in Gameweek 14.

The Fantasy Premier League midfielder misses out due to a tight calf, replaced in the starting line-up by Eddie Nketiah (£5.5m).

Willian (£7.6m) and Nicolas Pépé (£7.6m) flank the former Leeds loanee, as Mikel Arteta continues with 3-4-3, despite the return of Hector Bellerín (£5.1m) on the bench, whose suspension triggered the return to that shape last time out.

Bukayo Saka (£5.2m) and Ainsley Maitland-Niles (£4.6m) are the wing-backs with Kieran Tierney (£5.3m), David Luiz (£5.4m) and Rob Holding (£4.4m) the three-man defence.

Everton make an enforced change of their own, Tom Davies (£5.2m) coming in for Allan (£5.3m). André Gomes (£5.4m) might have claimed the Brazilian’s place had he not sustained an injury of his own in the build-up to Gameweek 14.

Having collected two clean sheets in the last two matches, Carlo Ancelotti retains faith with Ben Godfrey (£5.0m) and Mason Holgate (£4.8m) at full-back although Robin Olsen (£4.5m) drops back to the bench for Jordan Pickford (£4.8m) to start in goal once again.

    Very strange that none of the so called experts captained Salah. I know those of us that captained him were lucky but I'm surprised more didn't have faith.

    1 hour before GW deadline, I transferred Sterling C for Salah C for a hit. It has been an emotional roller coaster night worth a net total of +2 points.

    Without the DGW coming up, I would have been happy to just stick with Sterling + 1.0M ITB. Salah is simply the best DGW captain option and many people will probably TC him so going without is very risky, and Pool immediate fixtures are very nice so I thought taking the hit now while I could still afford him (exact money in the bank) is better than suffer from Salah rising or Sterling falling and having to take the hit due to price change next GW.

    Think I may just keep my FH, maybe squeeze Dias in. Otherwise FH and load up on MCI. If it's another low scoring match, it was basically a worthless FH.

    Poor starting position from McCarthy for the City goal. Didn't need to be so far left when the targets in the box were centre right. Sterling's shot was saveable otherwise. Thoughts?

      Sterling would have placed it elsewhere if McCarthy was more to the right.

      McCarthy has been good value but he has LIV, Blank, lei/lee GW17-19, perhaps time transfer?

I remember last season against Sheffield at home he scored a beauty of a goal difficult one..And this season the opposite..he is much much forward compared to last season gives you the hope to hold on him but how long??

      I think that much of the game is so much luck.

      On Tuesday it was said that Salah should be transferred for de Bruyne, as Salah had a very difficult game with Tottenham and de Bruyne with West Brom a fairly easy one. Yesterday it was said that you should not transfer Salah in because he probably will not start (which he did) or will not play at all.

      An acquaintance could not make changes because he was hospitalized. With him Salah was always the captain. He also said that he had done the Salah -> de Bruyne transfer on Tuesday and had left it yesterday to transfer Salah in.

        At least 50,000 people agreed and got Salah out before the Tottenham game. de Bruyne had recently had 10 and 14 points in the Burnely home game and the Fulham home game (which can be compared to the West Brom home game). It was probably not that stupid.
