GW of horrors done and done. Team in crumbles:

    Ramsdale
    TAA Robbo Saiss Cancelo
    Foden Salah JWP Son Saka
    Broja

    Foster Weghorst King Johnson

    Do I go:
    A) JWP -> Kulu -4
    B) JWP -> Coutinho -4

    Other suggestions welcomed.

Terribly drawn to going with DCL on wildcard and then switching to Bamford in GW30 if he looks like starting. Even though I would say they actually have less than zero form.

It's literally just the fact that they're the same price.

I can just about understand going for DCL due to plenty of future doubles as well as dgw29 but do yourself a favour and avoid Leeds at all cost

Surely with spurs form and fixtures next game week triple (c) on Kane is an option worth seriously looking at

Spurs form // They lost to Middlesbrough less than 10 days ago.

Easy fixtures // Man United kept 3 clean sheets in their last 4 home matches.

      yip, good call

Man U just 3 clean sheets in the PL in the last 12 games and conceded against the likes of New, Wolves, Burnley twice, Villa, Brentford, Soton & Leeds…

Brighton just 2 clean sheets over the last 14 PL games

Kane has 7 returns in the last 12 games (76 points), 4 of which were double digit

    Sorry bottomed.
    James ➡️ Doherty

    Wilock ➡️ Kulu - 4

    (have Kane)

1.3itb to do Rudiger➡️James when he's fit again.

Means I can keep Havertz + Raphina for their 'easy fixture'

Own Son not Kane so will have to wait for wildcard
    Bowen to Kulu happening today
Do we know status on Cancelo?

If selling to maximise games/fixtures for the next 4, who would you bring in:
    a) Cash - whu ARS wol TOT - ship sailed with tough fixtures?
    b) Doherty - mun WHU NEW avl bha - not really confident of spurs CS
    c) Creswell - AVL tot EVE bre - could be nice differential

No further updates since we last heard from Pep. He is sick, but no clear idea if he will be able to play on Monday.

I would probably bring in Doherty, but not sure and it sure feels like chasing points. Trying to figure out if its knee-jerk or a good move long term.

I am keeping Cancelo but selling James after one week only (or Ait Nouri depending on target). So, I am also in the market for a defender. Here's some scattered thoughts about the defenders (copied from last page).

Gabriel / Tierney / White - Great options long term, but difficult fixtures in GW29. Arsenal has the home advantage.
Dier / Davies / Doherty - Clean sheets against Leeds / Everton does not mean they will be able to do so against United and Brighton, especially away from home.
Stones - City defense has the highest chance of a clean sheet this gameweek.
Everton defenders - Poor form, but two home fixtures. Their home form is still ok; one cleanie?
Newcastle defenders - second best form in the league, but can they keep a clean sheet away from home?

I own Ramsdale and White + Saka
Doherty price is worth the gamble
Good shout on Stones but if I sold Cancelo it would be no City for me
Everton - I'm not even looking at 🙂
Newcastle - Schar interesting but Chelsea away blank Tot is tough

Just looked, Creswell has returns in 5 straight home matches, hmmm

Good shout on Creswell. Just looked, pretty impressive underlying numbers as well and a good run of fixtures in 31 to 33. Could be a good differential.

Agree on the Doherty price. Myself not very keen on a second Arsenal defender besides Ramsdale.

Can't decide between Robbo and Doherty. Robbo obviously the better option on paper but I will be able to do a lot with the cash over the next few weeks if I go with Doherty

It's tough. For 29 alone, Robbo is the better choice but given a blank in 30 and Tsimikas looming if a rest is needed, it's not so cut and dry.

I am not sure tbh, which is why I have decided against my original plan of BB this week. Havertz is in amazing form though, and they don't have any other forwards like him at the moment.
My plan was to BB, but I'm now benching James (FH 30) and then playing Havertz with Broja first sub.

Exactly. However, they are up 2-0 in that CL tie, and rumours about points deduction in PL due to going into administration should mean that they would prioritise getting a good lead within the top 4. All specuation, but would make sense.
