So, who else missed capping all of Haaland's hatties so far? Makes quitting this game a bit easier when you sit and really think about it. The points lost just by not capping his hatties alone make it season ending stuff.

Points are still relatively packed together and there's a very long way to go. Go back to basics and aim for slow and steady gains and you'll recover the situation.

They don't cover each other. C Haaland is actually essential, but after that choices are Cancelo, KdB and Foden. We can have only 2/3 of them and very difficult to say which are the best ones. Gw 12 is so close, that no point to waste transfer to sell one to get another yet.

      1. soxela

Kinda agree. However, in planning for GW 12 blanks for City and Arsenal, and having 5 players from the two teams, needed to swap out KDB for Foden as Southampton looking like a rather delicious fixture, especially. Money and other of my available FT going towards the start of bringing in Chelsea assets.

For over 4m less and considering he seems fairly nailed these days I'd think so.

Think KDB will outscore him on the long run but don't think it will be by a lot

      1. Zenith UK
        • 7 Years

Thing is, if you have Haaland, you won't be captaining KDB. So it's Foden + 4M player vs KDB + -4M player which will probably make the Foden shout more worthwhile?

Then, I suggest playing Salah against Arsenal and then use 2FTs for Salah, Andreas to Son, Trossard in GW11. I hope that will get you more points.

Think C) Hold. Arsenal conceded 3 against Man U. Pool's attack can be unrelenting, and Salah a big part of this, so don't think you imperatively have to go for the switch. As @Bankst said... bigger problem is navigating through GW 12 unscathed.

He was playing about 20 meters behind Trossard yesterday, might have just been tactical for Liverpool, but if it's a positional change for other games then he's not worth keeping.

Diaz and Cucarella to Zaha and James -4?

    1. soxela
      • 7 Years
      1 year, 7 months ago

not been a fan of owning Zaha personally. He's the lone true threat in Palace's offense and, as such, generates a lot of focus from defenders close to the box. Almost every goal he scores requires so much work and hence seems inconsistent. Other players to consider with a similar price point... and def not for a -4.

  13. Nate(U)dog(ie)
    • 3 Years
    1 year, 7 months ago

    A) Trippier + Martinelli ➡️ Guehi + Zaha
    B) Aaronson + Martinelli ➡️ 4.5 + Zaha

Have 2FT, need to lose one Arsenal or City asset this week before I move 2 more out in GW12 (then WC in GW13). Zaha is pretty definite, losing Trippier isn't ideal but then I get a defender for Palace's good run, and I'd probably only see one Newcastle clean sheet between Brentford and ManUtd.

      1. Nate(U)dog(ie)
        • 3 Years
        1 year, 7 months ago

I have 2FTs so I need to move someone on and I really want Zaha for the upcoming run. I know Leeds held onto the clean sheet today but they gave away a decent few chances, Watkins in particular was very wasteful. I'm definitely all for targeting Liverpool (hence keeping Jesus and triple City for those games) but if I don't move one of my 5 out then I'll need a hit in GW12 to field 11. I could move Cancelo but before Southampton could be a disaster, especially as I may just keep all 3 City on the bench that week and.

        Raya (Ward)
        James Cancelo Trippier (Neco Saliba)
        Aaronson KDB Sterling Martinelli (Pereira)
        Haaland Mitrovic Jesus

        Any other ideas?

Not sure if you'll see this...
But is it possible to retain 3x City, Jesus & Martinelli, plus 2 FTs, up to GW12 before you shed 2 of them? Seems like that'd work without hits.

I guess Zaha/Martinelli will be fairly close over the next 2 but if there's a way to have both I'd prefer that

          1. Nate(U)dog(ie)
            • 3 Years
            1 year, 7 months ago

The only way I can do that is by removing Saliba this week, and given I want to play him next week against Leeds and want to hold in general due to value I can't do that I'm afraid. I can definitely see I going either way between Martinelli and Zaha but I know Zaha is a long-term pick given the fixtures and as I have to remove someone I'm OK with it, although it's definitely not ideal

If Scamacca doesn't start midweek for West Ham, I think I'm set on Mitro > Scamacca

    Which option looks best

A - Sini > Trossard before price rise
B - Hold Sini and let Zouma come off the bench (He has Fulham at home)

Brighton announced alternative travel plans so I would think its more likely the game goes ahead but I wouldn't bank on it

In all likelihood it goes ahead

Just not sure I want to go early on getting trossard - although it forces me into a hit if I wait

Best 4.4 or under defender to go for up until the World Cup break? Will look to play him in gw12 and maybe a few other gameweeks depending on fixtures.

    A - Fofana
    B - Justin
    C - Castagne
    D - Guehi
    E - Mings
    F - Anyone else?
