March v Mitoma v Mac Allister: Who is the best pick in FPL?

It looks very much like Brighton and Hove Albion will have five Double Gameweeks to come between now and the end of 2022/23, with two of them already set for Gameweeks 27 and 29.

There is one confirmed blank for the Seagulls in Gameweek 28 and another likely to follow in Gameweek 32 but even factoring those in, Albion players are towards the top of many Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers’ shopping lists.

One debate raging in the comments section and elsewhere is over which Brighton midfielder to buy.

Kaoru Mitoma (£5.4m), Solly March (£5.1m) and Alexis Mac Allister (£5.4m) are the three names in question, with Mac Allister being one of the differentials picked out by Tom Freeman in his weekly piece.

      I personally don't get the WC26 fever thats being pushed by the content creators. Everyone just following like sheep. Can't wait for it to blow up in peoples faces. The team looks pretty strong this week, not sure I would be wildcarding personally.

          It's obviously team dependant and can see why some are doing it but I think a lot are just being sheep. My team is perfectly fine without. I think people will regret 3 brighton, 3 brentford personally but who knows. Could be wrong! I prefer to use it at a later date, my team is fine. I can go into 27 with 3 from brighton/brentford which I personally think is enough. Maybe I will use it in 28 to setup the perfect BB29 or I might end up using it after to fix my team for the run in. Prefer to hold it until I really need it.

    What is better for only GW26 (WC gw 27)

    Ive seen this mentioned but why are we all bench boosting in gw29 with Brentford and Brighton players who happen to play each other in gw29, then Brentford have United in gw29 as well, im sure we all have Rashford, Shaw, etc

    My bench will be pretty much playing my first team near enough, hedging your bets or better to wait for a later bench boost?

      gw29 is the biggest double and the later doubles don't look as good. I think bb29 makes a lot of sense. As you get to keep strong single gameweek players as well. I def won't be having 6 from brighton/brentford like some though. I think double gameweek fever can take over a little. Thinking back to Weghorst for Burnley haha

    WC or save for later? Would probably change Ward, Tark, Myk, Patterson, Salah and Andreas. Worked out it would cost -12 between now and GW29 to get the same team but obviously wouldn't be optimum each week leading up to it.

        Thanks, was going Ward to avoid a double up in defence and spread the risk, also think Fulham more likely to score than Southampton.

        Estupinan over Henry would fix that though. Is he expected to play? Not sure on the news on the injury atm.
