    B) Areola

If Areola does start then the Onana + Areola rotation is ridiculously overpowered for £9.0m.
WOL, CHE, NFO, lut, BHA, bur, SHU/CRY, BRE, she, EVE, ful, LUT, eve, CRY, CHE, BOU, WOL, whu, AVL
http://www.fplrotationplanner.com/ rates their 1st half of season at 29.9 = 8th best for all £9.0m combinations.

Based on this game alone yes, but I'm sure they'll make changes at half time and I'll want the likes on Diaz and Gakpo etc instead.

That Q and A above is full of contradictions prepared to take a risk on Nkunku.
A player who has not played in the PL before etc.

But somehow he is preferred to Jackson because Jackson is a 'gamble' and has not played in the PL before!
    😀

I get the point you're making but Nkunku is a player who has played in the Champions League for 3 years and with consistent big minutes in the Bundesliga. Jackson played 1600 La Liga mins last season and 100 odd before. The latter is definitely more of a gamble in my opinion

I see Bayern on Wednesday is the only team that either wasn't in a lower division last season or won't be next season that Liverpool are playing this summer, while the rest of the top 6 are doing essentially the opposite. I suppose commercial decisions will outweigh footballing ones but still, I would have thought they'd want a few bigger tests before starting the new season

Surprised by the answer to the first question in this article. “ ask yourself what the three best Arsenal options are and get them first “. No mention of Odegaard on the answer anywhere, who I think is the next best after Saka in Arsenal attack.

Bench: Areola / Beyer / Archer : Semenyo

    Flekken | Bentley
TAA Gabriel Estupinian | Beyer Baldock
Rashford Saka Martinelli Mitoma | Nakamba
    Haaland Darwin Nkunku

Martinelli + Nkunku could be Foden + Jesus but tbh I’m more concerned about Foden’s minutes than Martinelli’s. Any thoughts???

Is Gross worth a pick for Brighton assured minutes might be on pens, I know he is nominally Right back. But ends up all over the pitch. And I think the Brighton attack are more trustworthy than the Brighton defence.
I sold Foden got in Gross and used some of the savings to get Saka.
I will have a double Brighton midfield of Mitoma and Gross.

    1. Hairy Potter
      • 9 Years

He made some great runs off the ball against Newcastle, as did Estupinan. Not sure if they were given licence to run off the ball into the inside forward channels, and whether that will become a thing for Brighton. Gross was caught offside running through the middle like a striker at one point.

Decent option I guess. Understandable to want double attack to start and anyone except these two carries a strong cameo risk. Only thing is he's more likely to steadily chip in with an assist here & there but lacks the explosiveness of the riskier options so maybe makes more sense as a longer term hold rather than a short term punt on fixtures..?
