1ft and 1.1itb. WC also available.

    Turner
    Saliba Schär Udogie
    Salah Son Bowen Gordon Palmer
    Haaland* Isak

    Johnstone*; Pau, James*, Mubama

Feel like I have a decent bench back up for Haaland if he is out. So just sell Isak for Watkins? Isak has been so poor. Not going to take hits since I still have the WC which I have to play soon anyways. Not against just playing it this week either...

Obviously need to be able to field 11 players. So I would get rid of Haaland and then get him back on your WC

Guys, I took a -4 to get Trent in this week. The 2 bonus was very welcoming.

I think he will now start as a 6 for us at times until Mac is back, he looked very comfortable there and Gomez looked good at RB.

Although it did diminish his attacking output a bit so I’m hoping it won’t be a regular thing

My defence for the next 4:
    17: Schar Udogie Gabriel
    18: Schar Udogie Cash
    19: Schar Kabore Gabriel
    20: Cash Udogie Gabriel

Worth doing any transfer for -4 in your opinion there
Porro and Trippier(from 18) on my watchlist

Oh no, I don't think this is a rotation

Bailey and Konsa have improved Villa's right side drastically, with Tielemans improving the left

Cash was benched against the "easy" Bournemouth as well. He's done for, imo, unless a CB gets injured

Oh man.... how sure are you?
I mean if that's the case, shouldnt he be the ones playing the much weaker sides in congested schedules?

If he plays on Thursday then that's it.... i might have to get rid now.
Else, he might play SHU to give Konsa and rest.

BOU are not "easy" at all btw..

And, I think i read somewhere some injury news on Bailey? Not sure though.

I'm saying if it was a rotation based on easy games, Cash would have started vs Bournemouth

He's out of the team and the only hope would be when Emery decides to rest someone else, and you can't predict that accurately

I believe he has to go in FPL, based on what we know right now, unless a CB gets injured. It's like Chilwell all over again

Yep this looks like he's dropped and the reason was performance and that Emery tweaked system.

    Gabriel Cash Udogie
    Salah(c) Son Saka Gordon Palmer
    Haaland Darwin

    Areola Tsimikas Archer Guehi

    Lucky week, 67pts.

If Haaland fit, it’s straightforward Darwin to Watkins.

    If Haaland injured (feels likely)…

    A) Darwin to Watkins (play Tsimikas)

    C) Haaland and Darwin to Watkins and Solanke -4

Watkins was a horrible asset until Emery turned him around... Once he proved his consistency, it was an easy bandwagon to hop on

Same seems to be happening with Solanke and Jimenez now, Hwang recently

Maybe Richarlison in a few GWs

Miss the first few hauls, add to watchlist, buy when you've confirmed some sustainability

I watched Shu the first half vs Brentford (a very injury ragged Brentford that is) and also the game vs Liverpool. They're not very good quality, but Wilder have given them much more solidity and desire, and looked more organized. I don't think SHu is the team we've been used to think it was. Still a team to target for defenders.

The perception of Liverpools fixture is something that diverges FPL players. I agree with you in the sense that three of those are home at Anfield, no travel as Burnley' is pretty close to Liverpool and United and Newcastle having their own trouble.
It's not as rosy fixtures if it were the bottom half teams, so in one respect they are not an easy fixture run, but it is games that Liverpool usually are playing well in. A player like Darwin might enjoy playing against United defense mire than vs Andersen.

Who would you rather have long-term?

    A) Porro and Taylor on bench (means play 10 this GW also have Trippier and Branthwiate suspended)
    B) Udogie and Maguire on bench (wouldn't start Maguire for the foreseeable future after this GW)

I'm thinking A because the points difference that Porro and Udogie long-term is likely to be more than the 0 to 2 points Maguire is likely to get against liv.

    Tricky next gameweek afoot!

    Leno
    Porro Gabriel Kabore
    Salah Son Gordon Palmer
    Haaland* Watkins Solanke
    Areola* // Gross Trippier* Taylor*

I have already done an early transfer of Nketiah > Solanke as there wasn't much downside to that - so no more free transfers and 0.1m ITB.

    A) Hold, play Kabore (BOU, A)
    B) Haaland > Darwin (MUN, H) [-4]
    C) Other suggestion?

Gross whilst happy with, I didn't plan to play in GW17! In GW18 I can very much afford to bench Haaland. Don't have Saka next week though which may hurt.

Not too interested in selling Trippier as good fixtures when back, and is a great FPL asset despite the last couple of games.

Yeah I posted this last night with Branthwaite as an option but someone kindly flagged to me he's suspended now too!

Would have been for a -4 but I was tempted, even for the long-term benefit.

I also don't really want to take a hit but will accept the reality its not unlikely I could end up being to 9 or 10 with potential rests!

Very decent idea. Thanks for mentioning. Areola (4.2m) > Pickford (4.4m) isn't much but big potential upside with Everton's defensive numbers.

I'm wildcarding soon and i don't wanna be pigeon holed into Dubravka Areola Turner!

Dubravka could even be DDG soon, yoi just don't know.

Goalies have proven to be terrible picks this season but that could work. Good luck!

Turner and Dubravka both at 3.9m is feasible now had you moved for Dubravka immediately, is that 1.3m going to benefit your team elsewhere?

That's a lot to spend on keepers when there are playing 3.9/4.0s around. One of those and Branwaite to cover Everton D would is a cheaper alternative.

how many points is 1.3m worth, 30?

I like the idea, apparently he wasn't fully fit at the start of the season but I thought he looked very good yesterday.

I like it if he continues playing CF. Should be nailed when Son goes to Asian Cup.

      Postecoglou on Richarlison:
"Richy was important to us at the start of the year too, but he wasn't fully fit. I think you could tell he was kind of restricted with his movements. At times we had to play him out wide just to get him through games. Since he's come back, it's fair to say he feels a lot better physically and I think that's helped him mentally as well. Great for him to get two goals, but it wasn't just his goals, it was his general work rate, energy and physicality."

This quote is really encouraging. I still think Son is a better option but do you think it’s worth a -4 or just Mbeumo to Rich?

Play Leno (new) or Areola (WOL)?

Think I'm gonna play Leno in the tougher fixture! 🙂

At the moment I've got Leno starting - form & makes saves I guess?

Might change my mind later, but may not even matter if Areola not rushed back again!

    A) Gabriel vs BHA
    B) Udogie vs nfo
    C) Schar vs FUL

Newcastle can bounce back. And there’s no denying NEW home form even though FUL are in form. Trippier never added value defensively really

Yeah, he's got no self-awareness at all. The Spurs players will have been angry at the way he was slagging off Richarlison and that's clearly why Vixario mocked him when he missed that scoring chance.

What a disastrous weekend for my team
Only 2 defenders available for next game week (Saliba & Tsimikas)
Trippier , Branthwaite & Taylor all suspended
Also 2 doubtful goalkeepers in Sanchez & Areola
    Plus Haaland of course .
    Hopefully no more mid-week injuries
    Probably best to wait

wait till Friday then accept you will be doing -4.

I'd already used my FT on Saturday to get Solanke
Hopefully 1 of my keepers will be available
A hit for a defender would only be -2 in effect
Only £0.2m ITB so may have to sacrifice Trippier though

The -2 depends on the defender you can't count on them getting 2 points+. Trippier scored -1 this GW which would have been a net loss of 5 points if bought in for a hit.
