FFScoutcast Episode 268 – Hazardous

Eden Hazard’s 20-point haul in Gameweek 5 has left the Scoutcast team in shock.

For David and Joe, the Chelsea man’s fine early-season form has seen them fire up their Wildcards as they look to rip up their teams to accommodate him.

Az is still without the Belgian but is more than a little concerned he will miss out on another monster score.

Andy, meanwhile, has been left reeling from a fine score of his own, having already swooped for the winger prior to his hat-trick against Cardiff.

In this gimmick-free Scoutcast, the team go back to basics as they ponder the “essential” status of Hazard as well as the other key Fantasy issues of the week posed by the community.

This includes a look at the array of talent in the Wolves defence, the exceptional value offered by Bournemouth’s midfield sensation Ryan Fraser and pinpointing teams’ vulnerabilities.

Elsewhere, benching issues take centre stage in our “rough with the smooth” round-up and the team also find time to consider the best differentials and likeliest clean sheets in Gameweek 6.

City defeat will not be a bad thing imo, Pep will then have them going all out to make a statement by bashing Cardiff at the weekend

City bashing rubbish teams isn't the issue, it's Pep's mad rotation we are worried about.

He could well be. Although City always score goals and he is often in the right place at the right time to tap in from 2 yards.

So if he is nailed and starts he is always going to be a good option by being City’s striker.

City fans are some of the most loyal I know. Decades of suffering whilst their neighbours won, they always packed that stadium even two divisions lower. Look up the facts they are all there. It’s not the kind of rubbish facts posted by my club Arsenal who will post a full attendance when the stadium is two thirds full. Maine Road was getting full attendance when they dropped twice. They were a joke team.

+1. Have a walk around the area, see all the crack houses, that’s LFC buying up property and leaving it empty to run down the area so they could gain permission to expand the stadium. Not what I’d call having a soul.

That is just nonsense, I’m sorry. City were packing the old Maine Road when they dropped two divisions in succession. You need a City fan to confirm cos I’m not sure but I think their fans still boo the CL anthem and don’t go to CL games because of the FFP fine/ban they got.

Even as a supporter of a club full of people hating City for taking our best players (and using money as an excuse for our lack of recent success), no set of fans deserve success more than the true, old City ones. Decades of watching the red half win while they get relegated and suffer moments of total farce like when they were running down the clock thinking they were safe from relegation when they needed to score. Humiliation after humiliation. This is their time, good luck to them.

City are so good at times that matches become a bit monotone. They're better to watch when they play on the break on the odd time they lose possession.
