Alonso absent for Chelsea as Saïss comes in for Bennett

Marcos Alonso (£6.4m) misses out on a place in the Chelsea starting XI for the second Gameweek in a row this weekend.

That’s the first time he has not played a single minute in back-to-back Gameweeks all season.

In his place is Emerson Palmieri (£5.2m) who makes his second start in a row, having played all 90 minutes against Fulham in Gameweek 29.

Joining the Italian in Chelsea’s back-line is the usual suspects of David Luiz (£5.9m), returning after a Gameweek 29 benching, Antonio Rüdiger (£5.9m) and Cesar Azpilicueta (£6.3m).

With Eden Hazard (£10.8m) and Gonzalo Higuaín (£9.6m) coming back into the side following a rest in the Europa League, they are joined in the front three by Pedro (£6.3m).

The key Wolves assets are all in the starting line-up with Matt Doherty (£5.4m) restored to the starting line-up on the flanks of midfield.

Raúl Jiménez (£6.8m) and Diogo Jota (£6.1m) lead the two-man attack while Rui Patricio (£4.5m) reclaims the goalkeeper jersey from John Ruddy (£4.2m).

As Ryan Bennett (£4.2m) serves the first of a two-match suspension, Romain Saïss (£4.2m) fills in for him at centre-back.

        haha. I know what you mean, but what to do a head of the BGWs? I still think I'm getting Higuain as well as Hazard, still feel like Hazard *has* to be a better option than Fraser. But am really not sure ..

      Wow really. I literally have no one useful (three assist scores so far) so don’t even want to look at my rank. Only players left are attackers in a toxic Chelsea Sarri ball show so nothing can be saved! TAA injury really continues the bad feeling into next week

                it wouldn't worry me too much. I'd say it sounds very likely he'll play more than 60 minutes, maybe even the whole game. He has a whole week to get ready for that and is building up fitness game by game.

                Also I don't *think* TAA is hurt (watched the game), but of course we'll get more info during the week (and he might get hurt midweek if nothing else)

                Personally I think it's difficult to justify the FT for a BGW but it all depends on remaining chips and what you believe you can muster out of it, compared to what you think you'll 'lose' not using it in GW32 (or 35).
