The best defenders for a second Wildcard squad

With the Gameweek 34 deadline looming, Fantasy managers who are deploying their Wildcard (or otherwise) will be mulling over the various options for the season run-in.

With that in mind, we have looked at several defensive candidates to be considered between now and the end of 2019/20.

To do that, we have made use of the wealth of data available in the Members’ Area and those subscribing can read on below.

Now that we are well past the halfway stage of the season, memberships are available for just £10 and can be acquired by signing up HERE.

Who would you rather have for GW35?

    a) Jota
    b) JWP

For the love of GOD tell me I can stop tinkering....

    Lloris
    Robbo, Laporte, Duffy, Dunk
    Salah, Son, Eriksen, Camarasa
    Aguero, Jiménez

    Foster, Deeney, JWP, Valery

You are going to hate me but Camarasara Duffy and Dunk is going to mean a world record low bench boost in 35 (if that’s your plan). They are GW35 players only. Having 1 or 2 in 35 is inevitable but for me all 3 is too much

Looks nice otherwise and I love the Salah pick 🙂

If you are prepared to use a transfer in 35 to get rid of one of them (probably for Watford or saints player) then perhaps stick as you are. You’ve already got Salah so 1 transfer in 36 should be enough.

On reflection, your team looks great for this week and I’d get Camarasara out next week (he is about as nailed on as can be to only get 2 points in the double which isn’t good enough for BB)

    Ryan
    TAA, Doherty, Duffy, Trippier
    Son, Salah, Sterling, Eriksen
    Vardy, Jimenez
    Foster, Deeney, Deulofeu, Valery
    0.8m itb

Will do Vardy to Firmino/Lacazette for gw36/35. Benching headache though

Nope. Just think hes more prone to rotation with 3 games in a week. Look at all the teams that play wingbacks, they all rotate them when they have busy schedules. Therefore think Bednarek is more likely to play all 3 wheras Valery might only play 2. Then again, he may play all 3 as well!

Ryan + Pat gives these matches for the final GW's:

BOU CAR | wol tot BHA ARS | NEW | FUL | MCI

Surely got to be a couple of cleanies in there (writing off GW38 ofc)? Means dropping one of Jota or Doherty though.

    1. F_Ivanovic

Pat has been v disappointing for me in my team - lack of CS and lack of save points makes him one of the worst scoring GK's (if you combine the points of GK's from the same team) in the game - Only Huddersfield (1 point) and Fulham have worse than his 98 points.
