The best forwards for a second Wildcard squad

A vacuum has been left in the forwards department by Harry Kane’s (£12.6m) recent injury – and those on the Wildcard this week have the opportunity to fill it with some decent options.

In this article we assess each striker by their goal threat, creativity and fixtures to find the best trio for the season run-in.

As we’ve used members data for this, only Fantasy Football Scout members can view our analysis.

Which forwards have the best goal threat?

What we do in WC week, echoes in eternity (or at least, for the rest of the season)...

    Sterling & Laca/Firm/Vardy

    or

    KDB & Aguero

KDB Vardy, then Vardy to Aguero GW 36

Why are people going Trippier? Are we presuming Aurier is out long term and Walker Pieters not trusted?

I have so far, but still may change. Don't trust Poch not to rotate with Walker-Peters

Trippier unlikely to play vs Huddersfield imho. Looked injured and we need him fit for CL on Wed.

I’m on him at the moment. Probably foolish though.

Any final thoughts on my low budget wildcard team would be apriciated:

    Lloris - Foster
    Dunk - Duffy - Doherty - Valery - Bennett
    Son - Eriksen (c) - Sterling - Mané - Knockaert
    Aguero - Deeney - Jimenez

Will swap Knockaert to Deulofeu for Gw35.

    Cheers!

    Wildcard with 5.6 ITB.
Using the cash to get Aguero for Vardy GW 35 (dependant on Aguero champs minutes etc) and saving some money for a potential Martial to Mane.

    Lloris (Foster)
    TAA Lindelof Dunk Jonny (Valery)
Son C Sterling Eriksen Martial (Hojberg)
    Vardy Jimenez (Deeney)

    Any thoughts?.

    Pick two to play:

A- Dunk ( already playing Duffy)
    B- Laporte
    C- Robertson

if on WC & you're getting Dunk then he's gotta play as 34 are his good doubles.

you just want back up to bench a premium defender 🙂

I'd bench B over C in that case

My attacking 8 has settled on Mane, Son, Aguero and Jimenez but I’m torn between:

    1) Eriksen (HUD) Camarasa (bur, bri) & Murray (BOU, CAR)

    2) Sterling (cry) Camarasa (bur, bri) & Murray (BOU, CAR)

    3) Eriksen (HUD) Sterling (cry) & Deeney (ARS)

Option 3 has fewer GW34 matches but more in GW35. And next week, Deeney will be in Murray’s spot regardless. What would you choose?

      Doubtful.

I've seen a few say he's old & can't play 2 games in 2 days... he's 30 & he has 74hrs rest between games. I wouldn't put rotation down as a worry when picking between him & someone else

Nice team mate but I'd choose Lioris over Ryan and Dunk over Tripper . Only because I'm worried Tripper doesn't start and saved for 2nd leg of CL next week. Maybe use the extra cash then to do Murray > Jiminez for dgw35.

I'm carrying 2.1m in the bank, with a view to going

    GW35 - Vardy to Deeney
    GW36 - Eriksen to Salah.

That will still leave with a lot of left over cash. Was planning on bringing in some Utd players in 37 or 38, but should I reinvest the cash while still on a wild card? Can't really see anyone I'd want to change up and my team is pretty 'template' reading around here.
