Which game will you target on GW38?

Villa v Brighton .. Villa fighting for 7th spot
Brentford v M City .. Brentford will hope for 7th spot too
Chelsea v Newcastle .. Newcastle hope for 3rd?
Palace v Forest .. Both on the beach
Everton v Bournemouth .. Relegation escape for Everton
Leeds v Spurs .. Leeds fight to survive too
Leicester v West Ham .. Last hope for Leicester
Man Utd v Fulham .. Man Utd hope for 3rd?
Saint v Liverpool .. Probably nothing here if top 4 out of reach
Arsenal v Wolves .. What reaction should we expect from Arsenal?

It’s a tough one and I’d alike to know as on a FH.
I think Leeds v Spurs and Leicester v West Ham could see goals but I also think Crystal Palace V Forest will see goals even though both on the beach

I initially thought about Kane in Leeds v Spurs too. But relegation fight could be a big factor.

And .. it's hard to get Kane unless Haaland not starting.

I think Leeds Spurs will be tasty. Also fancy Villa to put up a good show. Would’ve said Everton but not sure I trust them to do anything. Been banking on a big score for Liverpool but as you say, not much to play for. Still got Utd players (Newcastle and Man) and reckon they’ll want to finish strong.

Norwich were already relegated and Everton were safe on GW37, right?

The Premier League is dead. When Pep’s third team can beat Chelsea’s hugely expensive firsts, they’re almost nailed on to win the next two if not three seasons. With Pep and Haaland there will be no competition for the foreseeable future, mark my words. So frustrating that money has finally won.

True but City have amassed three squads of A list players. No one can catch up for at least 2 if not 5 years, and if Pep and Haaland stay they’ll win everything in sight

Saka, Øde, Martinelli etc are excellent young players and developing under Arteta. Pep lost his hair because of them and they are serious future threat.

Oh I agree, I’m not anti City per se and they’ve done brilliantly with the money they have but from a whose going to win the title challenge, for the next few seasons, it’s over.

Haaland wasn't good scouting lol and 50m doesn't really cover it, City were one of the only teams that were prepared to pay the wage he wanted.

Not true either really ; City simply had the advantage of the best coach in the world, a great squad and sentimentally that's where Haaland was going regardless of anyone else's money. He's not absurdly compensated.

Partly incorrect. Many want to play, but Kane doesn't want to be in same team with Haaland. Many players want to play and look at how tough or rough start even a player like Grealish had.

Lots of football to go this week, but looking ahead to next week, I'm in an incredibly tight finish at the top of my ML. I was 96 points behind a few weeks ago, now 2 points ahead . Had originally planned on taking a hit to get Salah for next week because I'd assumed I'd still be chasing, but is he going to be worth it? Rival doesn't have him and would need a hit to get him, too.

Or just swap put Mitoma for Eze?

    Steele (Kepa)
    TAA Trippier Shaw (Mings Henry)
    Rash Bruno Mahrez Mitoma Mac
    Haaland Kane (Isak)

I'm looking at Mitoma or Mac to Eze too, but still hesitated.

    Haaland, Wilson, Alvarez

    (Raya, Botman, Zinchenko*, Martinelli*)

Best Martinelli replacement for the final GW that's 6.5 max? Perhaps Eze?

Probably the first eleven. Warm up for the CL final. Lots of substitutions at 60 tho

Hmm yeah maybe. Or maybe he will look at the last game as the warm up for the final? Its 6 days before the final.

    Free hit 38

    Alisson
    Trent Shaw ?
    Salah Rashford Odegaard Eze ?
    Kane Haaland

Not sure which 3rd defender out of Trippier/Estupinan/Gabriel, and the 5th midfielder options are pretty crap now that Brighton have nothing to play for.

Estupinan is so attacking. It's him for me.

Yeah thought so for the same reason even though probably most likely to concede of the 3, although its the last week so will probably all concedeeeeee

Considering Trippier? Chelsea just look so out of form

I almost certainly will want Robbo or even VvD over Alisson. Perhaps Bruno over Rashford also. Haven't decided whether to play 3-5-2 or 3-4-3 yet.

Frustrating GW and poorly setup for 38

Following a run of greens since WC this last week could really hurt !

Who’s the one golden goose for 38 if people had to choose right now ?

high scoring games could be a GW38 with limit defence - maybe Arsenal at home to Wolves (don't travel)

Eze - yes good call good scoring run for Palace.
Not sure about Isak if looking to get rid of someone

    Leeds United v Tottenham
    Everton v Bournemouth
    Southampton v Liverpool

          Flynny - wishing all the best remaining GW37 & a good GW38.

YR2022/2023 with mid-season World Cup & form or old favourites been the hardest mentally,
I need to the summer off to recharge

39 with 10 to go. Mitoma first sub. Pretty pleased with that. Chances of either a Grealish or Rashford no show next game?

Low I'd imagine. I'd say both start midweek

I think Grealish could get another rest but if he does he'll probably come on for a 1pter.

Hopefully they both start and haul.

    Ederson | Ortega
    TAA Gabriel White
    Salah Saka Bowen Rodrigo
    Kane Mitrovic Alvarez
    ¦ Eze Estupinan Cresswell
