    De Gea (Myhill)
    Clyne Debuchy Coloccini (Wisdom, O'Shea)
    Sigurdsson Mata Sterling Silva Eriksen
    Rooney, Diego Costa (Zamora)

    0.7m ITB. Thoughts? Planning to swap Eriksen for Dyer and hop on the bandwagon.

        Any suggestions on changes then? I should've changed Zamora for Naismith when he was 4.5 but its too late now :

            I had a similar-ish team and I wild carded on Sunday
            Hoping to make 0.5 from transfers+revamp defence+get sterling and aguero

              I'm a first timer and I might be confused, but why not costa instead of aguero? or are you revamping your team to have all 3?

                I'm dropping Rooney (unfortunately)
                At the moment looking at

                Krul (Elliot)
                Lovren Bardsley Dawson N Taylor Wisdom
                Hazard Ramsey Sterling Siggy Zaha
                Aguero Costa Welbeck

            Will consider Fabregas over Ramsey as they seem to have nicer fixtures (?), but will wait until next week to see how Fab does in internationals.

            I'd say so. Depends on his current fitness too. We'll know after the Brazil game i guess.

            Need the midfielders fit for the Utd strikeforce to be a good pick. And Shaw/Rafael too.

        Ramsey, Sterling, Siggy, Chadli

                  Yeah;

                  Krul Elliot
                  Moreno Jones Wilson Taylor Moore

                  fwiw, maybe consider the Wilson/Taylor combo over 3rd SOU? Those 2 + Moore;

                  LEI SOU NEW BUR SWA LEI WBA/WHU sou BUR CPL QPR......and so on. Unless you think Wilson may be dropped.

                    Nice rotation. I quite like the idea of having the triple Saints (plus Clyne and Bertrand's attacking threat) for their excellent run of fixtures. Can play them every game, not miss any points on the bench then clear them out when the fixtures turn very ugly.

            In terms of players that I'm buying and selling with the WC, .2-.3. There was a chance of .4 but Dier's injury scuppered that. Will gain more value through having brought in players that will continue to rise mid-long term and have cleared out several potential fallers.

          Nothing in here about not being able to access the data - so is guess that's been solved. It's all about calculating the thresholds now.

          Probably. I check the Transfers page, every day. Sometimes twice.

          But, as I say, the trick is to get in well before the first rise.

          It is indecision that messes up most people.

            I played my WC Saturday, transfered in all the players expected to rise, that I didn't already have;

            Dyer, Costa, Sterling, Naismith, Fabregas

            But I really don't understand the prices, I check the transfer in/out page daily also, so I can't understand why Rooney hasn't dropped this week, or Mata. When players like Santon, and Powell have dropped with less than 100 transfers out over 2 weeks.

              Read this for an explanation

              http://www.fiso.co.uk/forum/crack-the-code-2014-15-the-fiso-guide-to-fpl-price-changes-t110979.html

              The Q&A bit at the start isn't completely accurate as it was written before the season started and things always change every year. But it gives the general information about why higher owned players seem to drop less than those lower owned.

                Actually Clarence - this ones probably more applicable to this season as the double-rising this year seems more like the 2011/12 model:

              You need to cross reference with total ownership. Falls are a bugger.

              That is a good stable that you have there.

                Cheers guys,

                I understand it's all relative to % of ownership, but for Rooney to have two and half times more transfers out than the player in 2nd place means he must surely be ready to drop.

                  Wild card transfers I believe don't count towards price moves and it's impossible for the sites to know during the week how many people have wildcarded. That info only becomes available at the end of the week.

                    Really? hadn't considered that, one of the main reasons I played my WC this week was because I thought most people, especially casual players would be doing the same so it would be a good week to maximise price rises.

                  Let's look at the numbers. Roo had 1.5M ownership at the start. So we can estimate he needs 10% of that - 150k - net transfers out to drop.

                  He's had 130k transfers in, and 350k transfers out. So net transfers out is 220k. Enough to drop with a surplus of 70k

                  BUT - wildcard transfers don't count. So if he's had more than 70k (net) transfers out on a wildcard, then he hasn't hit the drop threshold yet. And I would estimate that there's more than 70k transferred him out on Wildcard, and not many transferred him in.

                    Makes sense when you factor in the WC - I didn't know WC transfers didn't count towards overall transfers.

                    I'm guessing, from comments on here, that a fair few people are on WC now.

                    Thanks again for the useful links/comments.

          He's not going to score in every game. He is a defender after all and isn't on penalties. Also 1 goal is all it takes to take away the clean sheet.

              When Mou says he didn't like the defending of his team you can rest assured that they will be tighter in the next game and that means less rampaging runs from Ivan. But that's just my opinion.

      People hate points on the bench. It's a good tactic if you regularly get a forward player temporarily injured, though. But no-one can plan for that.

      it is because strikers get most points in FPL...

      yes to your question. They can bring in big points each GW unless you have 4.5 bench fodder. Only option I would consider is rotating someone like Naismith with a good 5th MID (343 --> 352) depending on fixtures, but rotating between FWDs only I would never do

      Are you trying to convince yourself not buying one of them is a smart choice? 😀

      I currently don't own either of them, but I am worried 🙁

    Is Rooney + Jovetic --> Balotelli(c) + Adebayor(-4) a little too crazy chaps?

      no

      Not worth -4 I'd just swap jovetic. dzeko is likely to start

    Ma team at the moment.
    Bego (Gilks)
    Chambers Cahill Jones Moore Baird
    Rambo Fab Siggy Sterling Lamela
    Rooney Costa 4.5 bench fodder

    3-5-2 all the way

    Need to sort out defence, would you risk a double up on Stoke (getting in Wilson for 4.5) considering their fixtures: LEI qpr NEW sun SWA sot WHM tot BUR
    And then taking a -4 hit for swapping Cahill for Bertrand (also like SOT fixtures)
    That would free me up 1.8m ITB too

      Newcastle defender maybe?

        Cheers but not enough faith in the Toon for CS....Soke def is looking tempting after Man City blank but always weary of doubling up

      Looks good keep Cahill. Don't take a hit on a defender

    I didn't catch the Crystal Palace game last week, anyone got an idea where and how Zaha was played and positioned. I think he could be a bargain if he play to his potential.

      A couple of his attacks / forays were down the left wing channel, so I am presuming there. He is on my radar, too 🙂

        I seem to remember Taylor being an attacking fullback a couple of years ago. Doesn't look like it anymore.

    My Team:
    (currently on WC)

    Bego ( Krul)
    Shawcross Ivan Clyne Trippier (Wisdom)
    Fab Dyer Siggy Ramsey Zaha
    Costa Welbz Falcao

    0,4 itb

    would like to bring in Sterling

    so lose A -> Fab
    B -> Ramsey

    Article about Hendo: http://www.whoscored.com/Articles/vyialwwqkegargec4tn42g/Show/Player-Focus-Henderson-Now-Crucial-to-Both-Club-Country

    Henderson looks like the new Ramsey this year, doesnt shoot often but will get into the box right time right place, cheap price like Rambo last year.

    Thoughts? Should I take a couple of hits? 🙂

    DDG/Gilks
    Debuchy/Cahill/Chester/Clyne/Dummet
    Siggy/Ramsey/Eriksen/Sterling/Marney
    Costa/Rooney/Fletcher

    2.2 ITB

    Do I need to take a couple of hits to brig in a 5th mid/3rd striker? Or should I play 4-4-2 this GW and worry about getting a 3rd striker/5th mid next GW. Thanks 😀
