Their method is incredibly dim (or ridiculously stupid, however you wish to put it), and they're in particular focusing on the wrong theory. Take a serious look at it, and it's a fact that teams do worse in _away_ matches after an european clash in which they play their first team. All teams. I make most of my betting profit from this fact alone.

If you want something that's not too hard read while also changing the way you understand the world and yourself, I can recommend Consciousness and the brain by Stanislas Dehaene. High end neuroscience in a very easy to approach form.

I may be exaggerating with "very easy" though. Just mean that these are some challenging ideas, and well founded scientifically which is hard to follow sometimes, and here's somebody who is at the source of that very novel scientific progress and has also put it into a form that to my mind should be readable to a commoner. Not sure if it will change your life, though. It's not one of those demagogue manifestoes urging you to action. It rather changes the way you think about thinking.

As an alternative to scrapping Cup replays, how about exempting all Premier League teams from the League Cup?
This should free up a few earlier dates for Premier League match-days and thus reduce the current late season fixture congestion.
It might also encourage some Premier League teams to take the Europa League more seriously.I'd like to see the League Cup become a British Cup.
There used to be an Anglo-Scottish Cup once.
Perhaps this could be for those Premier League teams that are not competing in Europe, together with a few clubs from the Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish Leagues.
A British Cup might have created a little interest about 10 years ago. Nowadays a Scottish club would classify reaching the last 16 as a success.

I think it may be because they're rip-off criminals who stole other people's good songs and just played them louder.
They had a couple of good songs that at least so far have not been identified as rip-offs. But who knows, maybe their agent just killed the original artists before anybody else heard them.
