FanDuel

Introducing the FanDuel Social League

This month we have teamed up with FanDuel to launch a free to enter league, spanning the next four Gameweeks.

This marks a departure from FanDuel’s usual weekly and daily game setup to offer a distinct league format over a number of Gameweeks.

There will be a range of prizes for the highest scores each Gameweek as well as for the best overall scorers.

In total, there are £200 in Amazon vouchers and £250 in FanDuel credit up for grabs in what looks to be compelling mid-season add-on, particularly for those currently treading water with their Fantasy Premier League line-ups.

Existing FanDuel customers, as well as those new to the game, are free to take part, although it is worth noting that this is only available to UK-based customers.

In addition, for new customers that register for the league, FanDuel are giving away a free £5 credit, which can be accessed by using the promocode SCOUTFIVER when signing up via this link.

If you’re building a FanDuel lineup for the first time we recommend taking a look at our strategy guide that examines which players to target in the various positions.

Getting Started

Click here and pick you FanDuel lineup for Gameweek 22’s matches.

Once you’re lineup is complete, you will either need to register an account or log in.

If you’re registering for the first time, Don’t forget to use the promocode “SCOUTFIVER” to claim your free credit.

Once your lineup is entered you can log back in and edit it, right up until the kick-off in the first match, using this link.

Managing Your Lineup

Each week in our FanDuel Focus article we will be providing a link to the current table of scores before publishing the new link required to select your next Gameweek lineup.

We will also be using our Twitter and Facebook pages to share these links.

Schedule and prizes

The competition takes place over Gameweek 22 – Gameweek 25, with the deadline for entries set at 12:30pm Saturday January 21.

Each Gameweek, the top scoring manager will receive a £25 Amazon voucher and each of the top five highest scorers will get a £10 FanDuel credit.

The overall league score will be measured by combining your top three Gameweek scores over the four set of fixtures.

The overall prizes are:

First place – £50 Amazon voucher, £50 FanDuel credit

Second place – £30 Amazon voucher, £30 FanDuel credit

Third place – £20 Amazon voucher, £20 FanDuel credit

Fourth place – £10 FanDuel credit

Fifth – tenth place – £5 FanDuel credit

I brought this up last week and there was an amazing argument over Bellerin, which of course ended up with him not playing. There were theories thrown around of Wenger resting him, lying etc. With Arsenal's history of injuries, you can always, and I mean always, trust Wenger to be over cautious. Have to watch that presser like a hawk.

Come Friday, Wenger will say; "Giroud is in a good way, he has trained the last 2 days. But we will have to reassess him. And we have Welbeck back, so we can cope if he isn't available." 😀

    Thoughts on following players...

    1) Afobe. Nailed on?
    2) Van Dijk/Cedric/Schlupp. Worth picking?
    3) Cabaye/Snodgrass/Tadic. Waste of money?

    Thanks! 🙂

P.s. Have certain rules for team, so thats one of the reason for weird players on the list 😛

No. Howe a big believer in him and giving him the benfit of the doubt, but competition with Wilson

No. I'd avoid all of them. Spurs/Chelsea/Arsenal/Everton/West Brom/Middlesborough seem to be the go to defences.

Yes. Cabaye ineffective. Snodgrass terrible fixtures. Tadic useless. Much prefer Phillips and Stanislas.

        1) Cheers. Will stick with Anichebe. 😮

        2) Have Everton/Arsenal/Spurs/WBA at the moment. Will look at MID. Chelsea has tough fixtures ahead, so maybe after GW24.

        3) As I mentioned, rule is bit weird. Cant get more than one English player, otherwise Philips would have been first option to go for 🙂 Will probably go cheap, someone like Fletcher I guess

      1) atm looks like it

      2) Van dijk at a stretch but better options available at both higher and lower prices

      3) snoddy well worth the money so far
infact one of the better value buys
      horrible fixtures coming though
      others two yes waste

        1) Thanks... Low TV is making it tough, hopefully I can find a decent formula by weekend 😛

        3) Might just get Snodgrass. An assist here and there would do the job I guess... Sigurdsson has to go but dont want to drop any other mid.

Antonio Conte has no plans to seek out Diego Costa for specially arranged peace talks and will make the striker prove himself all over again before restoring him to his Chelsea starting line-up.

But even if Costa redoubles his efforts and wins back his place, Conte is likely to sanction his sale in the summer and allow the 28-year-old to cash in on Chinese interest.

Conte intends to assess Costa’s fitness, performance and state of mind in training this week before deciding whether or not he will play against Hull City on Sunday.

Rather than cancel a scheduled day off with his family to speak to Costa in private, Conte once again allowed the player to stew on his actions of last week and train alone at Chelsea’s Cobham base.

In the short-term, Costa faces a battle to win back his starting place in Conte’s team after Eden Hazard, Pedro Rodriguez and Willian all performed well in Chelsea’s victory over Leicester.

All Conte's fault. He should have just let Costa get his yellow cards on the pitch. Costa restraining himself on the pitch meant it was going to bubble out somewhere and the training ground is the next best place. 🙂

Articles like this really make me strongly consider ignoring Costa entirely and upgrading Phillips to Pedro as my 5th mid in a 3-5-2!

At 7.0 if he's nailed on for every game, it's fantasy gold. Him, Hazard and Willian looked great at the weekend.

If it's a hit, I would. Unlucky, that it will be 2 hits for me.

Lots of managers are on him now he will hurt them over those run of fixtures i think
If he got 2 goals over those 6 games it would be good for Defoe

Urgent Help Needed : Team is as follows --

    GK's : Randolph, Grant
DEFS: Cahill, Ake, Evans, Chambers, Amat
MID: Lallana, Sanchez, Phillips, Clayton, Allen
    FWDS: Kane, Agüero, Giroud

    ITB: 2.0

Due to price immenent price rise for baines and lukaku, i am thinking of going Ake to Baines and Giroud to Lukaku. It could also be aguero ? But if i go giroud it has to before the price rise tomorrow, due to ITB situation. Please advise.

I didn't like what I see when when watching Aguero on the weekend.

      For the Lazyporter:

      Re-post as reply failed.

I'd do Aguero to Lukaku and upgrade Clayton or Allen to a better mid.

      Or

Giroud to Lukaku and Allen to Stanislas.
