Having analysed the stand out Fantasy performers over the past few fixtures in our recent articles for members, we turn our attentions to team data this time round. In the first instalment of a two-part series, we look at Attacking intent across the last six Gameweeks, assessing the key statistics available in our members section:
Is the ARS v EVE game in GW29 going ahead still?
If so, Sturridge > Giroud or Gerrard > Cazorla?Open ControlsHey Megatron, I'm sorry...

What? Just me? Alright then. 😀Open ControlsAhem! 😉
Open ControlsYeah
Open ControlsHe skilled my countryman, Monsieur Parker 😉
Open Controls
Watching as well
Open ControlsI might tune in for a bit of the all-star game. is a bit fun to see them just screw around do some fancy sh*t and not play any defense :D. when is the game?
any of the competitions any good this year?Open Controls
How will you Americans be watching the Liverpool Swansea match? It appears it only being shown in Fox Soccer +, which I do not have, and is not be replayed on Fox Soccer. I guess I will have to stream 🙁
Open ControlsNothing wrong with streaming if you get a good one. First row sports is gold 😀
Open Controlshttp://epltalk.com/premier-league-tv-schedule/
appears to me it's on Fox Soccer Plus and Fox Soccer 2Go. any idea what Fox Soccer 2Go is??Open Controls- Open Controls
Good evening lads
so who would you rather bring on ?
A) Baines (for the next 2 weeks and then i'll probably trade with a United defender GW 29)
B) J.Evans (wich i intend to keep during his good run of fixtures + i'll save a transfer and have 2M more in the bank)Open ControlsI would do B, but I think a fair argument could be made for A
Open ControlsPlanning 2 weeks ahead is too far ahead IMO ATM
Open Controls
B. Both have decent fixtures, seems simpler to just go for Evans. How much do you like Baines / need that transfer?
Open Controlsthanks guys
i'm also leaning towards J.Evans, but i think i'll wait untill after they play tomorrow to see if he's rested or in case he plays if he stays unharmed.Open Controls
Enjoyed reading peeps RMF's

Open ControlsThe Wire, anyone? What about Mad Men?
I have enjoyed Dexter, Breaking Bad and Sherlock greatly, but I am waiting for new episodes and need something to watch while I am waiting.Open Controlsgame of thrones!
Open Controlsbetter than breaking bad
Open Controls
Game of Thrones
Open ControlsSopranos, Mad Men. Breaking Bad, The Wire, Band of Brothers, The Pacific, Game of Thrones, the Borgias, Friday Night Lights are the ones I've watched and I'd recommend them all highly.
Open Controls+2
Open Controls
I have ruled out Game of Thrones. Do not like the setting, to be honest. I prefer more modern settings, but hey, that's just narrow-minded me.
Band of Brothers was terrific. I guess I will just have to start watching The Wire.Open ControlsI found Season1 of the Wire hard to get into, but I persisted.
Boy was it worth it!Open Controls
Or the mentalist i love that show
Open ControlsThe Wire
The sopranos
Game of Thrones
Homeland
Flashforward, if you want a 1 season show as a fillerOpen Controls- Open Controls
Great find. It is true. Although they might deserve the credit they get, people certainly do not seem to shut up about it.
Open Controls
Nobody's mentioned The Shield yet. Very different in tone and tempo to The Wire but rivals it for the best cop show ever (and one of the best TV shows imo). Watch the pilot and I guarantee you'll be hooked. And, amazingly, it just gets better!

Just catching up on the discussion about movies that gave you nightmares as a kid.
I remembered one in particular that I watched one afternoon after school when I was about 12, I'd say. I was on my own and it didn't scare me so much but it did disturb me profoundly for a long time after.
I hadn't even thought about it for at least 20 years until tonight and had no idea what it was called but the glorious Google came to the rescue.
It seems I wasn't alone in experiencing extreme perturbation.
(from wiki)
The film was not widely available for many years after its original release, but discussions on film-related forums[1] and personal blogs[2] show that aspects of the film are remembered very vividly and with horror by those who saw it as children. It seems to have struck a particular chord in the UK, where it was released in cinemas as a double-bill with The Golden Voyage of Sinbad in 1974.
Discussions and memories of the film posted online suggest that viewers appear to have been haunted by scenes from the film for many years, without being able to identify the film itself. Certain scenes are regarded with some unease or horror, possibly even casting doubt on whether the film is suitable for children, although its overall style seems to suggest that it was conceived as a children's film.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Lost_in_the_desert_dvd_cover.jpgOpen Controls😯 I'm intrigued...so is it meant to be a horror? This is kind of creepy...
Open ControlsNo, not meant to be a horror. It's just reaaaaallllly disturbing for a kid to watch, because it tells the story of a kid who survives a plane crash in the desert with his little dog and trying to stay alive.
Open Controls
No movie ever gave me nightmares but there was one scene in O! Lucky Man which fair shocked me. You'll know what I'm talking about if you've seen it.
Open ControlsAbandonment (although accidental in this case) and being alone is horrific for a child to contemplate.
Open ControlsAha! Katie delves into the psyche with a surgeons knife like precision (as usual 😉 )
Open Controls
I have never had nightmares from watching a film, but I do remember being pretty freaked as a child watching "it"... the one with the scary clown who hid in drains...
I haven't watched it since but if I did I'm sure it would be laughable to me now...
I have actively seeking the most scary films to watch, but can't find any that scare me... I find psychological horrors to be the best...Open Controlsha, that freaked me out too, evil clowns were a big fear. can't sleep...clown will eat me 🙂
I have to say nowadays I wouldn't be scared by most horror movies (well there are some that still freak me out) but as a kid I was unbelievably frightened by horror movies...to the extent where I'd see even a trailer and have nightmares for weeks 😆Open ControlsYou would've loved the film Killer Klowns from Outer Space, then 😉
Open Controls
The original Spanish movie 'Rec' (I haven't seen 'Quarantine' which is the US remake) is utterly terrifying.
Most scared I think I've ever been was watching a BBC show called 'Ghostwatch' as a kid. It was a mock live broadcast with a TV crew visiting a family living in an apparently haunted house. It looks hammy now but, at the time, convinced so many people it was real it received the most complaints a BBC TV show ever had!Open Controls
Afternoon DZ... just woke to the news that Everton's replay will be played on the 27th Feb, so surely now there will be no blank for Arsenal and Everton in GW29?
That's a bit anti-climatic...Open ControlsOn the subject of films... I know one that will never appear on any TOP 5 film lists... (except this next one)
The Room... I started watching that last night, after seeing it being mentioned on here a few months back by someone... it was absolutely terrible... I couldn't get past the first 20 minutes...
So here is my TOP 5 WORST FILMS...
The Room
The Brown Bunny
Man Overboard
Battlefield Earth
Meet the Spartans
Please feel free to add to this list, so that everybody out there can save precious time in avoiding these films...Open ControlsThe room is that the one with the fat lady that is looking the room? Brown bunny is unbelievably woeful though there was a gallo film I didn't mind I can't remember what it's called now
Open ControlsToo many to mention, there's so many films out there that I'd rather not watch! 🙂
Open Controls😯
I enjoyed the Matrix...
I guess I have to accept that this list is more subjective than I realised...Open ControlsTarget audience = teenage / up to 25 year old males.
A total waste of celluloid. Trash. Pathetic story. Even more pathetic action scenes.Open ControlsBut what did you think of the sequels? 😉
Open Controls😆
Open Controls
I was part of that demographic when it came out, so it figures...
Wasn't aware certain people felt that way about the trilogy...Open ControlsThe first film is a damn good film. The sequels, however, are junk.
Open Controls
THE worst movie I ever saw. And I mean THE absolute biggest piece of shit my sorry eyes ever were put through.
Dancer in the Dark (Bjork) My girlfriend (now wife) is a Bjork fan (puke inducement right there) and made me go to the cinema to watch it. I went along in the hope of some "action" after the film.
I can't remember if I got lucky or not.
On second thoughts. probably not, as I would have faced extreme erectile disfunction after watching that total pile of shiiitOpen ControlsWorst film i ever saw was The Human Centipede, and believe me it doesn't get any worst than that...
Open ControlsIt saddens me to say that I actually watched that film...
It deserves to be on this list...
I managed to forget about this one... so thanks for the reminder... 😉Open Controls
Moulin Rouge, but what did I expect, renting a musical.
Lock Stock & 2 Steaming Turds. Bunch of muppets spouting Brit Gangster Flick cliches, Vinny Jones playing a stroke victim (I think). Did not work for me as a film.
* gets coat*
* leaves quickly *Open ControlsToo many awful films but the most overrated I think I've ever seen was 'Chicago'. How that won Oscars is beyond me.
Open Controls
Guys, check out this indie film called The Last Man on Earth. Amazing little film.
Open ControlsIronical how arsenal conceded the goal only after Walcott, Wilshere and Cazorla came on.
Open ControlsThe Cat From Outer Space 😯 Digby, The Biggest Dog In The World 😯 🙂
Open ControlsYou must be as old as me! The Cat from Outer Space was the first film I saw in the cinema!
Open ControlsHow mads that! 😯 Me too, and I'm a Liverpool fan, x season ticket holder of 13 yrs
Open ControlsLook out for me next summer and join the FFS Old Farts League. It's for 35+ and regular posters. The standard this season has been so high.
Open Controls
Anyone seen Antichrist? I went with some mates thinking it was a normal horror film, it was a strange 2 hours of my life.
Open ControlsIs that Lars Von Trier? I just saw another one of his...Melancholia...I found it interesting but odd
Open ControlsEpidemic is my Fave Von tried a great horror movie
Open Controls
Yes, I've seen that. I enjoyed it. Definitely not a date movie!!
Open ControlsKingdom (Danish tv series, before they became hip) was pretty good. And Breaking the Waves, though I believe these predate the Dogme stuff by some years. I have yet to summon up the courage to watch any of those.
Open Controls
US based fantasy football tv series, pretty good for a few amateurs but i think they cancelled their own show in season 2!

so what's the status on the potential everton-arsenal blank now?Open ControlsSix of us Cheering very enthusiatically when Oldham scored, then remembered that we dont actually care.
Open Controls*cheered
Open Controls
If Everton lose the replay with Oldham then no blank. Otherwise blank.
Blankety blank!Open ControlsEverton AND Arsenal have to lose....... GW29 is DEFINTELY OFF!

What are some of your favourite-ish recent movies?
I was just looking through the IMDB top 250 and found one I really enjoyed, felt it was a bit underrated...District 9...anyone seen it?Open Controlslol, not one of the greats but pretty high up there
Open ControlsAlso its a bit flat upon the second viewing
Open Controls
I loved the film "Drive".
Open Controlsepic film
Open Controls
The one with the prawn heads? Oh wait, that was Mean Girls...
Open ControlsIt's been out for a while, but I only watched it recently...
Shutter Island...
Easily in my top ten...Open ControlsI thought District 9 was OK, worth a watch, but not brilliant...
Open ControlsI just liked how bizarre it was and I liked how it was made. I enjoyed the concept. To be honest, I don't watch enough movies to even be a casual critic but I like what I like 🙂
I'm quite into older movies actually...I don't know why...I just like the way they used to make 'em 😀Open ControlsMe too.. I've started watching a lot of older movies as well...
Old horrors actually...
I'll get back to you once I've seen enough to form an opinion....Open Controls
Check out http://www.theyshootpictures.com/gf1000.htm
For the proper top films not the junk from imdbOpen ControlsWell the top 3 there I really love, Citizen kane, Vertigo and Space Odyssey are brilliant...timeless
Open ControlsYes a little more significant than godfather, shawshank and pulp fiction (although decent movies)
Open ControlsDon't get me wrong, I don't agree with the IMDB list...some of it is rubbish and I don't agree with most of the films in their top 100...I just used it to remind me of some good ones 🙂
Open Controls
Great movie, Di Caprio is a legend. Shutter Island, The Departed, Blood Diamond, Django are amongst my favourites.
Open Controls
Inception, Moneyball and The Raid we my favourite films of the last 3 years.
Open ControlsIn terms of humour, the best film I watched recently, was In the Loop...
Open Controls🙂
Open ControlsHave you seen the film Idiocracy? That is a brilliant comedy.
Open ControlsGood One! And while we're on Mike Judge, Office Space.
Open ControlsYes, love that film! Someone stole that off me though, you have reminded me that I need to buy a replacement!
Open ControlsHaha... I love Office Space. Makes me cry with happiness every time I see it. Brilliant stuff.
Open ControlsI have a brilliant idea, its a jump to conclusions mat. It would be this mat that you would put on the floor and would have different conclusions written on it that you could jump to. 😆
Open Controls
21 Jump Street really made me laugh!
Open Controls
Dead Man's Shoes (a few years back). First film in ages I watched twice on consecutive days.
Open ControlsThat is a good film. Shane Meadows directed that, and if you thought that was good, you should see "A Room for Romeo Brass".
Open Controls
District 9 was ok.
Recent movies I really liked were Django Unchained and Argo. Gangster Squad was terrible despite great cast. Zero Dark Thirty is not worth a watch either.
Decent recent movie I've watched that is pretty much under the radar is End of Watch, was embarrassing watching it with the missus because I was holding back the tears at the end 😆Open Controls
Everton will thrash Oldham in the replay and the GW29 blank will go ahead.
Open Controlsso if everton win their replay then we have a blank and a dgw sometime later in the season and if they lose their replay then their gw 29 fixture with arsenal goes ahead as planned?
in other news, how on earth did arsenal lose!?Open ControlsYou answer you question in your question. "How on earth did ARSENAL lose?? It's arsenal, simple answer.
Open Controls
Whatever you do don't watch Freelancers with 50 Cent in it!!
Absolute pile of shite. I got suckered in because it also had DeNiro and Forest Whittaker in it.
Worst release of this year so far!Open ControlsI don't own Walcott and I'm dumping Gerrard for GW27.
I'm getting Santi Cazorla back in and I'm captaining him. There. I've said it.
The obsession on this site with Theo (and those who bought him for 8.7) is contributing to the fact that Santi is still an amazing pick and has now become a (cheaper) differential at under 15% ownership.
I'm certainly not saying Walcott is a poor pick but I'm having a dreadful season and I fancy something a bit different. My ML leader is 70+ points ahead so I've gotta do sumfink.Open Controlsthere's a reason that walcott is now more own and more expensive.... sure you could get lucky with caz for a week or two but if you make the wrong differential choice you will only fall farther behind. walcott (c) could easily help you catch up. or bale (c)
Open ControlsI got him for 8.6 😀
Open ControlsThanks for the thoughts. I'm still going for it. It's the time of the season to be brave.
Off to bed goodnight!Open Controls
Ohhhhh I just remembered the last great movie I watched...it was so brilliant
Let the right one in
Anyone seen this?
I was blown away...Open ControlsNo. He is not.
Open Controls
Yes, I own that. Such an awesome film. I refuse to watch the American remake.
Open ControlsMe too, I heard about it and cringed...even if it was decent I would still not want to appreciate it...as the original is far better. I also don't mind subtitles...it makes it eerier for me that it's in a different language.
Open ControlsThe only film I'll deliberately watch dubbed, and will say is better than the original laugnuage version, is The Story of Ricky. Anything else has to be listened to in it's original language, with subtitles.
Open ControlsIt's actually one of the few remakes they got right. If you don't mind subtitles check once upon a time in Anatolia. Brilliant movie
Open Controls
Read the book.
Open ControlsBest vampire movie ever...
Open ControlsMmmm... Nosferatu the Vampyre.
Interview with a Vampire (for laughs, and Kirsten Dunst as an adorable blood-sucking poppet).Open Controls
Good One.
As long as you weren't Swept Away 😉Open Controls
