With double Gameweek 31 looming large over our Fantasy plans, we turn to the Key Performance Index tables in the members section and assess a selection of players with a pair of fixtures on their upcoming agendas. The KPI data focuses on the frequency of key stats or events in order to track player form –we look to the top 10 most improved midfielders in terms of minutes per shots inside the box and also assess forwards’ shooting accuracy over the past six Gameweeks:
I really, really, hope he's out for somewhere between 3 and 5 weeks, enough so I can get Lukaku instead, but not too much that it'll affect his world cup, this could be a big year for Argentina..

The SAS concept is being used in so many different ways on here. What does it really mean? Must be Suárez, Agüero, Sturridge, for sure?
Open ControlsMeans different things to different people. I just don't use it because it's stupid.
Open ControlsSuarez Aspas Sturridge
Open ControlsThanks.
Open Controls
Depends on the context.
Open ControlsSuarez and Sturridge. FF folk have confuddled shit
Open ControlsThe A should be lower case if it means that.
Open ControlsIt comes from the Shearer and Sheringham combo, Suarez and Sturridge have brought it back
Open Controls
SAS was the name of a uni club of which I was president. Sexy Actuaries' Society. Good times.
Open ControlsThat's funny.

Thinking of bringing in Remy for Rodriguez, for GW 31 for the double game week. Have 1.0m in the bank. Dont mind taking a hit but not sure how to do it without weakening the team. Any suggestions?Open ControlsA. Nasri & Williamson
B. Nolan & Debuchy
?Open ControlsVery, very close...
imo Nolan > Nasri for 31
and debuchy is pretty even with williamson, debuchy is better but not by much to justify the increased price..
I can't choose :/Open Controls
any reason not to buy Rooney instead of Lukaku. It's not like Liverpool or City are doing great defensively
Open ControlsDavid Moyes.
Open ControlsTraditionally finishes strongly after a weak start.
Open ControlsAre you quoting Mrs Moyes?
Open Controls...to finish just shy of a Europa spot. He's keeping up traditions I see. 🙂
Open ControlsWe (united) are a party of innovation. We do not reject our traditions, but we are willing to adapt to changing circumstances, when change we must. We are willing to suffer the discomfort of change in order to achieve a better future.
Open ControlsLets see how pragmatic you are after 20 years of change
Open Controls
I'm thinking this as well and more or less allows you to do a straight swap to Aguero in time .
Open ControlsLooking through Rooney's history this season shows that he goes through purple patches. e.g. between GW 9-13 his points are 12,12,411,13. I think he is in the middle of another purple patch
Open ControlsYep. As long as I can remember. Makes him very annoying from an FF perspective. Always burns me the fecker
Open Controls
No wonder I'm doing so shit this season, I didn't have him for his 411 points haul. 😉
Open ControlsDo you have Suarez for his 784 point haul? I captained him

Funny to see the anger and schadenfreude at Aguero speculators. The whole game is based on gambling, on assessing the facts then backing your judgement.
Buying early at a lower price, but increased risk, is an integral part of this. If it pays off you get better returns, if it doesn't you risk bigger losses.
People who do it assess the risk and make a choice. It's part of the game guys.Open ControlsYes, let them gloat .... I'd probably make the same decision again, but it's not the end of the world.
Open ControlsMan, part of me wants to gloat, but it's not really cool!
Open Controls
FPL should disable transfers until 24 hours before the GW deadline.
Open ControlsWhich defeats the point of having price changes to increase your value. Or was this just another wind up comment? 😉
Open ControlsWith Ronh every comment is a wind up 😉
Open Controls
I actually think that's not a bad idea.. or at least price changes occur all on one day without the 0.1m cap per price change, instead up to 0.3m as usual. Would probably encourage more casuals, which I the FPL would like. You can still do your transfers on Sunday night, but there's not reward for doing it.
Open ControlsI don't like that idea Tinkerman, the whole point is to keep people playing all week for the hits on the FPL site.
Risk and reward is part of the game.Open Controls
What anger ?
Most on here know the risks and I wouldn't classify them as knobs ( Fitzy )Open ControlsI'd classify RonH as a knob and he's one of the loudest Aguero mockers at the moment.
Open Controls" It sometimes makes people feel better about themselves, you know, to put other people down, or make fun of them, or maybe make mockery of their work and that doesn't make me feel good at all "
Lady GagaOpen ControlsExactly mate, and RA makes a good point above. People like RonH with his over the top gloating and provocative trolling posts acts as if everyone who got Aguero in early is a complete numpty who has no idea what they are doing, while he is so much smarter than them. A lot of people who got him in would have been planning the DGW out to the last dollar and decided to take the risk that he wouldn't get injured to get the team they really wanted for next week. The risk didn't pay off (seemingly anyway), but I don't see that as justification for some of the gloating type posts. I doubt those guys have always played a perfect FPL season out.
Open ControlsAt the end of the day FPL history page tells you who gets it right or wrong most
Open ControlsYeah Champ, but I doubt even guys like yourself, Evs etc have not made decisions you regretted and have learnt from.
Open ControlsWouldn't put myself on Evs level but I've certainly made plenty of mistakes. Buying Cabaye early a few days before hhe was sold comes to mind 😳
Open Controls
Not going to name individual posters but I've seen lots of posters angry at Aguero speculators driving up his price pre injury.
Not bothered about the gloating, it's human nature.
But just saying that speculation is what the game's all about.Open Controls
a few occasional bite by injuries is not going to stop me from making early transfers. nor i dun see a point moaning about kun injuries after u bought him in early becos u noe the risk.
Open ControlsFor the record I thought about Aguero but did Ade > Lukaku in the end cos I didn't fancy the risk. So I'm not saying this as an aggrieved Aguero buyer!
Open Controls
Straight choice, Nolan or AJ?
Open Controls- Open Controls
A, Gerrard/Yaya and Lukaku
B, Sterling and Rooney
Currently thinking A, thoughts?Open ControlsYup, A by a fairly big amount.
Open Controls
Following aguero injury again last night I am thinking of changing on WC
Mannone Adrian
Coleman Azpi Collins Chester Ward
Haz Yaya Gerrard AJ Sterling
Saurez Aguero Lukaka
Aguero and Sterling to Sturridge and Nolan
Or bring Rooney in and beef up defence?Open ControlsLukaku or Sturridge GW31?
Open ControlsAll this talk about early transfers and catching prices. What would be very interesting is hourly price changes. So basically if a player reaches100% at 7pm, he rises and the same for dropping.
Open ControlsWould be utter chaos. Would never happen.
Open ControlsWhy not? It's how stock markets work? The FPL player market is just a (very regulated) stock market.
Open ControlsWould be a disadvantage to the global users of the game. Not to mention the programming problems it would cause.
Open ControlsI don't agree. Having an artificially imposed time when prices can rise can cause more of a geographic imbalance.
And the programming probably isn't much different. The prices rise anyway, it's just an artificial construct that they change at a preset time.Open ControlsBut the way it operates now gives an advantage, albeit small, to users who live in Asia, Australia, NZ and USA. Having it hourly would give an advantage to the users in Europe. The european players of FPL are the vast majority of the players. Flagging/unflagging of players would also be chaotic as this could easily happen at the same time as price changes, something which the current system doesn't have any issues with.
Open Controls
That's how I see it. There can be some regulations to prevent the stock market going crazy. e.g a cap on how many transfers can be made in a week or allowing say 70 transfers for the season
Open Controls
That would inevitably lead to everyone who gives a rats ass bout team value doing their transfers in the first hour. Would be a shambles
Open ControlsFPL could place a limit on how many transfers can be done in a week and they need to get rid of that highest valued team on the status page. Glorifies having a TV of 120m and an OR of 2.5m
Open ControlsCompletely changes the whole dynamic of the game and limits the number of ways you can play the game, which is part of the great thing about the game – its adaptability.
Open ControlsI don't see why having a huge TV at the expense of OR should be rewarded with a mention on the status page. If there was no such thing then this would prevent the market going crazy. Also a cap of even 100 is more than enough transfers for the season for anyone even half serious about playing the game. I just can't stand these guys who make 7 transfers every week just for TV
Open ControlsOh they can get rid of the "most valuable teams". Don't give a crap about that. People should be able to play the game however they please imo, but yeah those high TV teams don't need to be paraded.
Open Controls
Any news on Dejagah? Should I get rid for AJ or Nolan?
Open Controls😆
Open Controls
An I missing something on these KPI tables? Highlighting players that hardly shoot but now...still hardly shoot. Wayne Routledge (c).
Open ControlsThat's about the crux of it SI 🙂
Open Controls
Ok so it's between
A - Rooney
B - Lukaku
Any takers ?Open ControlsB

Anyone playing the Europa Fantasy Game?
If yes, any suggestions on players?
I am wildcarding and planning to get Vidal, Tevez, Pirlo and a defender from Juve.
Then several players from Salzburg, but not sure on other teams.
Any kind of advice would be really appreciated.
Is anyone from Tottenham worth a try?Open ControlsAdam Johnson
I know he had a massive run of form for 5 or so games but I don't know if I've watched Sunderland over those games and prefer to judge on what I've watched - anybody have a better idea?
Was he just unlucky beforehand and is now regressing to the mean?
Or has he changed role/position/taking more set pieces?
Or become more greedy?
Basically torn between really disliking him as a footballer and thinking he's likely to be a decent shout with the doubles coming up.Open ControlsHe's 6.5 and is his team's star performer at times.. With decent fixtures and lots of them.
Just curious, why don't you like him as a footballer? I think he's lazy enough and his attitude is suspect but he's great to watch dribble (which is odd for an Englishman)Open ControlsTo answer your actual question, I haven't seen enough of him or looked into it deep enough to give any sufficient analysis on a change of position or anything..
Open ControlsPartly because he's a bit arrogant for his actual ability and partly not actually his fault but people saying he was amazing based on them watching him bang in screamers when City were 4-0 up on MOTD ignoring that that was against tired teams who had been battered by Yaya and Silva for 80 minutes and that when he was given a starting chance he was rubbish..
Open Controls
Anyone considering Dzeko at £6.6m or we been burnt too many times?
It frees up some serious funds.Open ControlsWho is best to partner Sturridge and Suarez then?
I see a lot of people going Lukaku, I had him during his last "easy" run and he didn't exactly do great. Everton are not on the best of form but because of the fixtures I am leaning towards him.
Remy? Is he an injury doubt?
Anyone going Giroud? Say what you want about him but he has scored a decent amount of points. I know Arsenal have a tough run but do you really expect them to blank in all those matches? Giroud could easily get a goal or two.
Luakku is the best choice isn't he?Open ControlsLukaku's a better choice than Giroud for now anyway..
I'm not 100% convinced by Remy, I think he's a bit too hot/cold and he doesn't really explode.
Lukaku has the highest potential for points, he could go crazy, or he could flop just as easily...Open Controlsits rooney vs lukaku for me
giroud isnt involved enough in the goals imoOpen ControlsLukaku just frees up so much funds over Rooney, Rooney to me seems like a poor man's aguero at the moment, he will get points but will it be enough to justify spending 11.4 million?
Difference between Lukaku and Rooney = 3.1m
Difference between Sterling and Gerrard = 3.3m
Lukaku and Gerrard seems better than Rooney and Sterling for me.Open Controls
Play Mata (Liv) or Ward (Sun)?
Open ControlsNot for me
Open Controls
When a player goes up by .1 is it true that you don't see any return from it?
i.e. I owned J. Rod since 6.2. He's just gone up from 6.6 to 6.7 but like when he was on 6.6 I can only sell him for 6.4 profit. So technically speaking, value is only gained when a player goes up by .2.
Could someone please correct me if I'm wrong.. I know it is late on in the season but I can't get my head around transfer value mechanics yet haha.Open ControlsSo I very regrettably brought in kun for a hit before the barca game.
Do I take a hit to take him out for this week?
If so, then who should I bring in between lukaku or Rooney?Open ControlsNoone ward chester
Open Controls
I did same but not for a hit. I'm edging lukaku and gives you plenty money to play with.
Who your other strikers?Open ControlsSturridge and suarez
Open Controls
bring in Carrol! #DareToZlatan
on a serious note..if Lukaku starts both he is a good option but nowadays some of the Everton players are getting selfish and don't give the end ball to him..Whereas in case of Rooney he is the center of everything at United at the moment.Open Controls
Do you think it would be worth to take extra hit to have Coleman and Nolan for the DGW31 instead of Lallana and Distin?
Coleman+Nolan (-4)
Distin+LallanaOpen ControlsOk I was 1 of stupid 1,s that took in aguero to avoid 0.1 change.
I'm going to ship him out for-4 lesson learned tv aint that important this time of season. makes my team shape much better if go lukaku or sturridge.
Even if isn't serious doubt they risk him on sat and with 2nd game of double v Man U would they risk him v Fulham.
What are other owners doing?Open ControlsAka easing him back in. Tie was beyond them. 60-70 mins at the wkend.
Open ControlsIl wait for offical word but I don't think looking good and would rather even for a hit some1 that will def play nxt 3 games 90 mins
Open Controls
Yes, but he'll have a medical today, so expect an update later on
Open ControlsI think the "tomorrow he'll have a medical" was from an interview yesterday, but I might be mistaken.
Open ControlsThe medical is today, but we'll know tomorrow in the presser. For what it's worth It looked to me as if he felt he might get injured so didn't risk anything, a tight hamstring basically but no rip tear or strain. There''s still a chance he might get some minutes at the weekend but I'm not captaining him now though
Open Controls
same situation here - think I'll monitor his price as well as that of Lukaku and Remy and try to wait until tomorrow afternoon. Currently leaning towards doing
Aguero + Nolan -> Remy/Lukaku + Gerrard
for a -4 hit. Also leaves funds for upgrading defender.
.Open Controls
Morning. So many asking if Aguero would get injured in the Barca game.. I can't believe he's actually out.. AGAIN. Hoping it's not too bad..
