          Yeah the midfield is small but the wingbacks are so tempting. I can downgrade Salah to mane in the future if needed too

            Looks good. Big on arsenal attack but with those fixtures I can see why. I’m looking at getting either Aubameyang (already got Mkhitaryan) or hazard next week depending on how this weekend goes. Good luck with the wc

              I just can’t avoid Aub. Never had him last season. He’s in my mind now and I can’t go without or I’ll kick myself if he scores. Really hope he drops before Saturday so I can get him slightly cheaper.

      Pereira's assists have been pretty lucky. One was an over hit cross which hit the back post, bounced back and practically hit Carey's forehead to go in, the other was a 10 yard pass inside to Maddison who took it on and scored a deflected shot.

      They all count but don't think of him as some highly creative full back.

    So this is my WC team....any changes?

    Mendy Robertson Alonso Wan B Bennett
    Salah(C) Mane Richarlson Pedro Kante
    Ings Aguero Mitrovic

    I see Ings and Kante as first subs dependant on form then fixtures. Ings gets the nod this week. Wan B as 1 st defensive sub and stankovic as generally third choice fodder.

    1 option is to downgrade Kante, Ederson and/or Ings and get trippier for stankovic and go 4 at the back most every week....

    any thoughts...? kinda template I guess.

      Feel Ederson may be too expensive. Great run of games (and I had him for first two GWK's) but keepers priced 5.5 above, even 5.0 are a bit too expensive for me. I'm on my WC and I transferred him out. Would go for a 4.5 GK and improve your squad elsewhere.

        I'm not I sure I go for this "spread the risk" stuff. Surely the risk is spending 10.5 mil on a mid who hasn't started a premier league game since last season, hasn't scored etc. Another risk would be Mane continuing his fine form and habit of starting matches

        if you have Wan B you don't want tomkins IMO...you'll rarely want to double up on palace defense. And forgetting price I think Wan B is a better pick over tomkins.

        So....I went with Bennett at 4.0 as 3rd choice bench fodder and upgraded to 5.0 Kante in Midfield

      I wish I had the guts to do it. I do like it but not having him captain this week could be a disaster.

      Also I’d reallt wanna improve the bench just one spot somewhere. Kante or Ings. Just to give you some proper depth. You can go without I guess but a reason I WC was to get depth so rotation didn’t scare me

      I’ve gone without Salah and I’m prepared to take a haul on the chin this weekend against Brighton. But the following 4 fixtures I’m fine without Salah.

          I did have Kim and Captained him but the plan was always to bring in Auba so I did and then panicked after he went up so WC to get him back in and that now leaves me with no back up on the bench. Got Auba out the team atm, hoping he drops so I can get my 0.1 back. Poor move and a waste of my FT but happy with the team now.

    Watching City's all or nothing and listening to Aguero on his surgery at the end of last season...

    He basically said he's had some kind of pain in his knees for 5 years and now he feels better than ever before. Could explain why Pep is so surprised at how sharp he now looks...

    Either way I back him for major honours this season... Even with Jesus on his tail

      Reports are bit inaccurate. Question was would you play two strikers, to which answer was no. However if Laca comes in Aube will be out wide. He gave the example of the last pre season game when they played two up top.

    I’m considering downgrading Mane plus one other and upgrading Kamara to Aub, reason being that he could be an easy transition into Kane when he starts knocking them in, we all know it’s only a matter of time

      Auba to Kane still needs 2 FT’s & minimum 1.5ITB... when you’re making two FT’s anyway it’s as easy to convert a 9.0/9.5 mid to Kane as it is Auba to Kane as your making the two xfers anyways

            Thanks, yeah I also had laca, but shifted out for morata on Monday to avoid price drop...now I also took sterling out for Mkhitaryan...and have money to bring in aubemayang in place of Arnautovic...just hope I get it right

              Yeah they look good transfers defo worth the hit, would love auba but thought laca could be a cheaper pick playing further forward-with auba playing striker probably I could see a lot of points this weekend

    Someone slashed the tyres on my Nova tonight and scratched "No Salah" on drivers side door. Gutted. Even worse was thinking Kane vs Utd defence whilst on the loo. Nearly dropped the lid (which would have woke the Mrs) but caught it like a superhuman. Where do you go from there?
