Leicester City’s squad could provide Fantasy Premier League managers with some powerful differentials in the early part of 2019/20.

Probably because of uninspiring opening fixtures, none of Brendan Rodgers’ players is owned by more than 13.7% ahead of Gameweek 1.

However, there is enough in the underlying statistics from last year to suggest the Foxes could enjoy Rodgers’ first full season at the helm.

        Wesley will probably end up in the team for GW1 as Gibson is a doubt and only 4.0 anyways.
        Guilbert is in there for Villa's decent run after Spurs.

        Fraser is a good shout alright! Was tempted by him.

    Just a note on those getting excited about Guilbert at Villa...

    1) Nothing to suggested he is nailed and could be replaced by El Mohamady once he's back fit.

    2) Played Ligue 1 Last season, picking up 9 YC and 1 RC

    3) Had 2 assists from 37 games last season.

    Pre-season form contributes to zero points in the league.......just saying!

    Why does the totally accepted norm seem to be double pool def and 1 city? I get the attacking return potential but is vvd really THAT much better than a walker/laporte/stones? Especially given the fixtures.

        My theory is that taa and robbo became one and vvd for budget reasons but no one factored in the lack of assist potential of vvd and they got stuck in the 2 pool mindset.

        I've seen guys tripling up rather than salah!

    anyone else getting De Gea, I think united will do much better defensively this season especially if they get maguire. He also gets lots of save points and at 5.5 is surely a potential bargain if utd have the defence they did 2 seasons a go

        I think last seasons defence must have been an annomaly. Maguire looks to be coming (hasnt travelled with leicester to atalanta game) with young and jones/smalling not in the team cs look more certain

      I like it. Very similar to where I am atm.

      Unsure on the strikers though. For example if Ederson/King to 4.5/Wilson is the way to go. Wilson is an easier way to get to for example Haller, Chelsea FWDs etc.

      Also unsure about Jota versus the alternatives. Wolves lack of squad depth and EL-qualifier is somewhat putting me of them at the start of the season.

        Fair point! Haller seems good, but is unproven in fpl and I'm afraid the Chelsea strikers are a no-go. Might look like one nails down a spot, but a couple of bad games and there's two great alternatives pushing to play.

        There's also a lot of good 6.5 strikers though.

        I will likely shift King to someone after his first two. Jota I hope to keep long-term, gets both goals and assists and is probably underpriced 1M (Jimmy as well 0.5-1M too cheap imo). Europe is a factor, but it's not convincing me enough to exclude Jota.

        Yeah but gotta think TAA and Robbo play as midfielders effectively and Salah and Perez play almost as strikers, so really I've got 5 midfielders and 5 inside forwards should we say. Plus theres the clean sheet points on top of that and Liverpool and City will get plenty of them this season.
