Griezmann is more childish than Lingard somehow. Whilst typing this Willock with one of the best goal line clearances i have seen

Would you swap Wilson to Fraser if
    A. Can give me 0.5m i need to convert 5.5m Midfielder to Trossard
    B. Fraser to martial after gw 2 is easy move which i want. (Martial)

        Wilson + 4.5nonplaying + 5.5m Midfielder
4.5m striker no playing + Fraser + Trossard

Probably B then as A relies on there being a reasonable 5.5 option and there seems to be slim pickings

Go with Fraser in a 352 for the first two gwks then switch to Haller in a 343 or just start with Haller?

Might be priced out in two gwks, future transfers never work out do they.

Its quite amazing to see the split in opinion regarding KDB's performance today. For me a couple of things stood out:

    1. He is not playing deep as was thought earlier. Rather he took up really advanced positions in the final third.
    2. He was willing to take his shots and make assist-worthy passes although nothing came off today.
    3. If not fully, he definitely seems to be about 80-90% fit which makes him a definite starter and thus avoiding the Pep roulette.

Overall, while he was rusty today but City won't be playing Pool every week. IMO, slightly better final delivery from KDB and lesser opposition makes KDB a fantastic FPL prospect given his price point.

    What do you think?

    1. Pumpkinhead
      • 9 Years
      4 years, 8 months ago

KDB is class. Hopefully he can stay healthy this year. If he does he'll be in and around 200 points. 9.5 is a good price for him.

      1. KGFC
        • 7 Years
        4 years, 8 months ago

Yes, that's the biggest IF. But I think it may a good strategy to get him in early because if he doesn't perform, you can easily swap him for Son. Otherwise, you need to either use your WC early or some serious hits (assuming you won't be taking out your other heavy hitters to get Son)

    2. Jimmy Boy
      • 7 Years

Gonna start out with Sterling, as if both start firing I can get KDB in easy. If I were to start with KDB, Sterling would be much harder to get in later on. Can't afford to start with both as I want Salah, Sterling and Auba in my team

      1. KGFC
        • 7 Years
        4 years, 8 months ago

If both start Sterling and KDB fire, what's your plan to get in KDB? I'm actually struggling to come up with a strategy and hence thinking of starting with KDB along with Raz + Salah. Getting KDB means losing Fraser and a bit of team shape but I think in the long term would be worth it.

That is fair - I have my boogey players too. Auba being one of them and can't get my head around picking him (even with easy fixtures and being the top scorer last year).

He was injured for last complete season almost. I'm saying i don't trust this version of Kdb.
He was a beast in Germany before that too.
          Playing deep + Injury prone
I was on the wrong side of his Injury last season so maybe I'm just bitter 😀

Ha.. that explains a bit 😉 But I think this season may be one of his earlier ones, atleast that's how I found his performance today. Maybe now I'm biased because I just think he is an awesome player 🙂

Love him even more as a pick now. Got into his famous right wing positions for them curvy crosses. Showed speed and strength but lacked the final ball at times. This will improve and will constantly get in the positions with Rodri sweeping up. Gives KDB lots of freedom... 🙂

      1. KGFC
        • 7 Years
        4 years, 8 months ago

Absolutely nailed it. I was more interested to see how Rodri was playing because that will dictate how much freedom KDB gets. I think Rodri looked pretty assured which is good news for KDB owners. And TBH, I don't mind him missing a few balls or shots in the CS, as long as he is willing to take on and not assist the assister, I'm happy! KDB into my team 🙂

KDB showed good form today, sticking with Sterling from the start - good goal threat. This is easy “downgrade” to KDB if he performs and spend £2.5mil on MID/FW

Early WC + Most choosing safer starting 11's can always move onto emerging talent in a few game weeks.

The question is if you can spend the money better in your eleven than getting two points off the bench for the extra output.

Zouma could be a great punt but wouldn’t bet on Chelsea defense atm.

Tempting to switch Zinchenko 4-4-2 to some 6.0 striker 3-4-3

What do you think about it?

Went to the Tottenham v Inter friendly this afternoon, and before the afternoon descended into the usual subs farce, I thought there were a few telling signs.

1 - Lucas looked the standout player. I dont know how they will squeeze him and son in, but I have almost changed my mind enough to get him. The pace has caused all opponents issues pre-season, and has linked well with kane

2 - KWP looked ok. Good enough to hold down the starting position? Not so sure. Still looks a short term punt.

3 - Dont know whether to read anything into eriksen not starting. Given Son is suspended, it could be the XI today was the line up for villa barring new signings. Lamela played well (usual rash tackling aside) but will no doubt fade by September.

In summary, it's hard to invest in defence given FB uncertainty and toby/Davidson pick. Kane looks fit, but I'm tempted to go Auba for now. Lucas might be worth it.

Alli injury frees up Lucas' spot? Could be a dreamy pick. Lots of nice punts at 7.5m this year

How does this Question Time format work?

      Where/when are they answered?

They only answer a select few

So make your question very generic, simple and one that will benefit the masses as they tend to be the ones that get answered.

There is no point sending in questions because they will always pick the obvious, generic questions to answer and someone else will be asking that question already.

Have not seen much love for Abraham thus far in RMT’s. Any Chelsea fans out there who can give some insight into his minutes.

If he turns out to be their main striker he could be worth the money.

Is Heaton a short term pick? Because I don't understand what makes him better than Pope other than short term fixtures.
Barkley is a wait and see for me.
Bench is fine as everyone is nailed in your team for now except Kwp maybe?

Cheers you're the first to approve my bench. Not decided on Heaton but think he will do well, Pope probably safer option.
